  1. You won't have to feel guilty about rooting for it to happen. The Bills will not win another game this season. The bad news is that Ralph Wilson will still be our owner, Buddy Nix will be our GM and Chan Gailey will be our head coach. Next year at this time we will be talking about next year's draft instead of playoff chances.
  2. I'm so far ahead of the curve that most of you guys can't even see me.
  3. Right again BLZFAN. Right once again.
  4. Did you watch the Dallas and Miami games?
  5. Pretty accurate throw by Fitz there.
  6. The whole team has given up. It began at home vs. the Jets. Why are so many of you so slow to catch on? This team will not win another game this season. Then the optimists will say that we have improved because we won 5 games.
  7. Exactly, the Bills D will make Phillip Rivers look like Joe Montana in his prime. It wont be pretty. Do yourselves a favor and enjoy your afternoon. Go see a movie, do some Christmas shopping or spend some quality time with your family. This game will be over by halftime.
  8. Thank you Poojer. I will spend today cleaning my garage and raking leafs. After 35 years of fanhood, I gave up on this team when they gave up on themselves at home vs. the Jets. 12th season without playoffs is too much to ask anyone to support. This league is set up to achieve parity. The draft favors weaker teams, the salary cap evens out roster talent and the schedule helps weaker teams based on the prior year's results. When a team sucks out loud for over a decade under this system, it isn't by accident, bad luck or injuries. Major changes have to take place in order for this organization to become competitive. Nix and Gailey do not qualify as major changes either. But for those of you who still are interested enough to watch this team play, Go Bills! And Pooj, I look forward to that wake up call.
  9. Wake me up when they are able to put a competitive team on the field. In this era of parity, it really shouldn't be that difficult.
  10. I can see how that argument could be made. Ralph did open the vault for Dockery and Langston Walker when Marv was G.M. though. I wonder if the players see it your way. I imagine they would have to consider it.
  11. CJ ended up with 153. I missed by 7 yards.
  12. Chris Johnson will rush for at least 160 yards today. Book it.
  13. Embarrassed, no. Dissapointed, yes. Most importanly is that since the Jet loss at home I have become disinterested. I knew they would lose to the Cowboys and didn't watch. I turned on the Miami game ten minutes into the 1st quarter and I took my daughter to a museum and lunch last Sunday. Football and the Bills used to be one of my greatest passions, now I hardly care. 11 years of self-inflicted futility has finally taken its toll. I read all of the opto-posters here excusing everything away (the excuse of the day is injuries) saying that we're on the right track and things will get better next year. The same people have been spouting that same B.S. for 11 seasons. Those are the same people that suppoted every terrible player and personnel move that this organization has made over the past decade. Why should this time be any different? Happless, hopeless Dick Jauron gave us a steady diet of 7-9 seasons. Chan gave us 4-12 then after starting off 4-1 (in games that we got lucky breaks and unusual lucky calls by refs) we are in a 1-5 tailspin. The rebuilding process has derailed! If blaming injuries helps you feel better, then fine. I thought we hired two world-class trainers so we could avoid these injuries. So now the plan is to count on players coming off of season ending injuries next season for impovement? Good luck with that. One of the biggest mistakes that this regime has made was signing Fitzpatrick to a big-time contract. I like the guy as a person and he has done fairly well for the Bills in his role so far, but he is not a big-time qb. He is a band-aid. He is a guy that can get you by until the franchise qb comes along. Fitz is not a franchise qb and never will be. He can not and will not be able to deliver big-time success. His arm is too weak and he is too inaccurate. He's been very lucky this season that he hasn't played in poor/windy weather conditions. This team is seriously flawed from the ownership down and we all know it.
  14. Fitz may be able to put the team on his back, but that rag arm of his won't be able to deliver anything.
  15. That's your perrogative. I'm sure Ralph appreciates fans like you. As a matter of fact, he banks on them!
  16. I believe that is the new OT rules for the playoffs. Regular season is still simply sudden death. Win the coin toss, get the ball and score and the game is over. No opportunity for the other team.
  17. Did you hear the ref giving the rules to start that OT? He said that "each team must have a chance to possess the ball." Not so, this is the NFL, not college. It is sudden death.
  18. Count me in as another die-hard fan who won't be watching. I'm taking my daughter to see the Egyptian exhibit at Discovery Place. I've seen enough too. 11 years of self-inflicted futility is too much for anyone to support.
  19. Yeah, here comes the build-through-the-draft Bills who are 2-5 in their last 7 games and have been outscored 106-26 in their last 3. Those last 3 teams (including the Jets) mocked us on the field and in the media. I'm sure the Jets are quaking in fear. We're talkin' proud!
  20. I agree. That sums up my reaction to yesterday's game and the direction I'm expecting this season to head. There's no need to point fingers other than saying it really sucks being a loyal fan of this team. I can't wait to hear Cowturd gloat about predicting the Bills implosion...
  21. Try surviving on a diet of only lentils for a whole year. Only then will you attain true enlightenment and humility.
  22. How can you be a Bills fan and not have a problem watching those over-the-top T.D. celebrations? It made me sick.
  23. I was expecting the qb sneak. Why step backwards and hand the ball off deep? You're essentially turning 4th and inches into 4th and 3. I like that play as much as completing a pass behind the first down marker on 3rd and short.
  24. I was glad to see R.R. give his team the week off during his post-game talk to the Jets. They are nowhere near the team they were the past two seasons. They beat the Chargers by the skin of their teeth with a lot of help from S.D.'s poor play and coaching in the second half. That comeback win merely masked the problems that the Jets have this year. It bodes well for us if we face an overconfident Jets team that thinks they're back just because they beat an AFCW team that put on a terrible display of football in the 2nd half. That was one of the worst two minute drills I've ever seen. First thing's first though. Let's stick it to Shanny and the Skins!!!
