The secrecy involved with this extension has been very bizarre. I don't understand why Ralph & co. are so unwilling to come forward with any details. All we can do is speculate. I've never seen anything like this.

I don't blame you. This franchise is a joke, a complete disgrace.

I just heard the segment with Jerry Sullivan and apparently ESPN is reporting that Dick's contract extension WAS SIGNED YESTERDAY. Assuming the contract was signed before the game, how do you give a career losing coach who just lost 6 out of 7 games, a three year extension? Ralph has got to be senile, and I'm not using that term loosely. If the Bills ended up in last place and 0-5 (so far) in the division, then how in the hell is there any hope for improvement under Dick Jauron's leadership? This has been the most disheartening season that I have ever suffered through as a Bills fan. How can anyone support this team when it's logical to expect more of the same in the upcoming seasons? 9 years and counting...

You have got to be kidding me. If this is true, I'm officially done with this team.

This article seems to be totally based on speculation, but Jauron MUST GO! Although no one could have anticipated the colossal meltdown that this season has become, what was the rush to re-sign Jauron all about? Why not wait until the Bills playoff fate was determined. At the time of the extension, we had not even played a division opponent. Did the Bills management think that the rest of the league was clamoring to steal Dickie J from us???

On the CBS half-time show, they called the decision to pass "inexplicable".

I'm not saying that TE is a washout. Believe me SD, I have been a huge fan of TE from the beginning. When we were sitting @ 5-1, I thought that we found that elusive franchise QB. But the fact is that TE had a huge roll in the losses that we suffered in this nose dive. With Losman leaving, I think it would be extremely valuable to see how GH looks in a regular season game. If it is TE #1 next year and Hamdan #2, the guy will be a snap away from being the starter, and I think we need to see what he can do.

Since Simon closed a thread that I started on this topic (for no valid reason) I suppose I will post my opinion here. If I'm allowed the freedom of speech to do so. I agree. Let's see what GH has. I am not saying that he is the answer or should be the starter, but I think we need to see what he can do in the last two games of the season. Loserman is a goner and unfortunately Edwards may not be the franchise QB that I thought he would be. We may need to make a clean sweep at QB, but we won't know for sure until we see how GH looks in regular season action.

He just needs more time. He was never given a chance here.

Ralph hired Dick because Dick came cheap. Also, Dick is the type of guy who is lucky to have a HC job. Therefore he makes a great "yes man". For instance, when Ralph wants the status of a mystery extension kept secret, Dick says "yes Ralph". When Ralph wants a QB or other player change, Dick says "yes Ralph". When Ralph says team salary is too high, Dick says "yes Ralph". You get the idea. Dick Jauron is a career loser and always will be. He will NEVER get another HC gig in the NFL. EVER.
