Overall, I agree with your post. The Whitner pick was puzzling when it was made and trading up to get McCargo was devastating.
However, Lynch a poor value, below average back? Hell no! This kid has got heart and I would love to have a roster of 53 guys with his attitude and dedication. His stats don't reflect well, IMO, because of poor run blocking, the O's inability to stretch the D, and his low carries per game. But I love the way he approaches and plays the game. I don't think I've ever seen a back that works so hard to get 3 yards the way that ML does. The one knock that I will go along with is that he doesn't have great hands. Coming out of college, I thought he was supposed to be a dual threat, but IMO, receiving is not a strong point.
