I agree. I probably watch at least 6 Jets games a year. Obviously the 2 vs. Buffalo then various division match ups or prime-time games. With watching them so much, I never once said "wow I wish we had Laveranues Coles or a receiver just like him". I guess I wouldn't complain if we got him, but I would think that his signing would not be a significant upgrade.

Hey LB, I think that you got some pretty rude and unnecessary responses to your post. Regardless if the issue has been talked about a lot or not, it's a sad fact that Buffalo is probably a highly undesirable destination for FA's. It doesn't make someone a troll or less of a fan for pointing it out. You are dealing with millionaire athletes that have a major relocation decision to make. When you fly into Buffalo in February, you might as well be landing in Moscow. The city is notorious for its bad weather and as much as people hated him for it, McGahee was right about the lack of 5 star restaurants and night clubs. I would think that Buffalo would be a hard sell for both a bachelor or a family man. Of the 32 NFL cities, which ones can Buffalo look down its nose at? I can think of one, Detroit, and they have a state-of-the-art stadium.

I smell what you're cookin'. I think the Bills BETTER come out of this FA period with AT LEAST 1 decent LB and O-lineman (preferably 2 at each position). I would like to see Winborn and Hangartner signed. I was also high on Scott, but I didn't know he would cost so much (5yrs $40mil). It is early, but it's critical that this team at least bring in some decent journeymen as the rest of the division has improved their rosters while Buffalo has only trimmed fat.

I thought that saying had a different ending. But yeah, I would be all for seeing Ray Lewis here. This team is short on linebackers and the obvious value of RL would be his leadership. The Bills desperately need a hungry vocal leader on this team. I would imagine that Lewis would be looking to sign with a solid contender though.
