  1. When I first heard about the trade I thought that we should have gotten more for Peters. But I'm starting to feel better about it. I was surprised both times that Peters was selected to the Pro Bowl and he did finish the last two seasons with injuries, so perhaps Philly is taking the risk with a $60 mil. contract. I don't like the idea of having to replace the whole left side of the line though. When we let Dockery go, I though the Bills had a line on a top FA like Birk. However, letting him go just to save money, was the wrong move.
  2. Now that's more like it. When I read Tipster's post, I thought of this.
  3. No, you were nowhere near as angry as Tipster.
  4. Gooda woulda shoulda.
  5. Reading comprehension????? I did not say that any one's religion was a non-issue. Wow!
  6. Then it will be a great opportunity to make a tidy profit by scalping their tickets.
  7. Their religion, their choice. Individually, the Jew must decide which is more important, football or their religion. This is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.
  8. That's where coaching comes in. As for Gosselin's theory, I suppose you could look at it two ways. One, the Bills do draft well (and therefore have a pretty decent roster) but the players are poorly trained, developed, motivated, and utilized or two, the Bills roster is so crappy that anyone who is drafted can step into a starting role. I believe that the truth lies closer to the the first theory, poor coaching. In the age of parity, I think there are at least a dozen coaches that could have taken the Bills to the playoffs last season.
  9. I suppose people would find a reason to beotch about any game that is played in Toronto. But I hate that it's a nationally televised game at a neutral site against a division opponent.
  10. Wait 4 years till they're gone for good.
  11. They would lose money on me.
  12. That just ended my night with a good laugh.
  13. I suppose that it's very beneficial for Trent Edwards to go through training camp and the regular season practicing against a soft coverage defense which he will never face on Sundays. But, then again, that's a decision that is made by the same mastermind that keeps the Bills practices indoors if there's the slightest chill in the air.
  14. Ham, scalloped potatoes, deviled eggs, asparagus (none for me), and carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Hoppy Easter.
  15. How do the Sabres match up against Boston now? BTW: Is your sister hot?
  16. Dude was born in Buffalo, Texas. It was meant to be! CHAMPIONSHIP!
  17. I'm very aware of how precious and fragile life is, but once in awhile you get a vivid reminder such as this. You've got to enjoy and appreciate every day and let the little things go.
  18. Keep moving south. I would LOVE to see one in Charlotte!
  19. Haven't you heard? A tie is like kissing your sister.
  20. 4-5-1 in their last ten games. Not a very good way to make a desperation playoff push. BTW would you really like to see them go to Boston as the 8th seed?
  21. -- The Bills definitely need every body they have on the O-Line, but I don't see them making Peters the highest paid Tackle in the league. Sold to the highest bidder. -- Right now, it looks like those 2 will be around when the Bills pick. I would be O.K. with selecting Cushing. -- I just threw up a little. I live in Charlotte, and the last thing in the world I want is to have a good view of Losman's next stop. -- That's encouraging.
  22. ... just trying my hand at the comma thing. As for the topic at hand, I would rather (and do) have a gun(s) and not need one than vice versa.
  23. Well, I suppose, that's your opinion, which, you are certainly entitled to.
