  3. My thoughts exactly, never really cared too much for u2 or the Edge, but for me, it doesn't get much better than Page/White.
  4. Great calls Senator. I'll add Jackson Browne - Call it a loan ( I searched but couldn't find a video that does the song justice) Lyrics In the morning when I closed my eyes You were sleeping in paradise And while the room was growing light I was holding still with all my might Oh--what if its true ...what my heart says Oh--whatll I do What if this feeling becomes hard to part with You were meant to play your part In the design of a desperate heart And while you gave your love to me I was betting I was getting it free Oh-- if Id only known ...what your heart cost Oh-- can we call it a loan And a debt that I owe On a bet that I lost In the evening when you see my eyes Looking back at you, no disguise Im not sure who you think youll see Im just hoping youll still know that its me Oh-- what if its true ...better ask the man inside Oh, oh-- there seem to be two One steals the love, and the other one hides. Yeah-- can we call it a loan Till Im paid in full for the seeds Ive sown Yeah-- can we say that Ive grown In someway that we may have yet to be shown Oh-- if Id only known ...what your heart cost Oh-- can we call it a loan And a debt that I owe On a bet that I lost Elton John -

  6. Sonny Corleone - "They keep pulling me back in".
  7. You know that I care what happens to you, And I know that you care for me. So I don't feel alone, Or the weight of the stone, Now that I've found somewhere safe To bury my bone. And any fool knows a dog needs a home, A shelter from pigs on the wing.
  8. And when you loose control, you'll reap the harvest you have sown. And as the fear grows, the bad blood slows and turns to stone. And it's too late to lose the weight you used to need to throw around. So have a good drown, as you go down, all alone, Dragged down by the stone.
  9. 'Tis then when the Hurdy Gurdy Man Comes singing songs of love, Then when the Hurdy Gurdy Man Comes singing songs of love. Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, gurdy he sang. Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy. Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, gurdy he sang. Hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy, gurdy he sang.
  10. I will see this film when it gets to Charlotte. Jimmy Page and Jack White are two of my all-time favorite musicians.
  11. Franks and beans!
  12. This morning on XM radio (the loft) I heard Neil Young's song Albuquerque. Although I consider myself a Neil Young fan, I've never heard this song. I was pleased to "discover" such a simple yet powerful song. "Albuquerque" Well, they say that Santa Fe Is less than ninety miles away, And I got time to roll a number and rent a car. Oh, Albuquerque. I've been flyin' down the road, And I've been starvin' to be alone, And independent from the scene that I've known. Albuquerque. So I'll stop when I can, Find some fried eggs and country ham. I'll find somewhere where they don't care who I am. Oh, Albuquerque, Albuquerque Video This leads me to pose two questions. 1. Any good Neil Young/Neil Young concert stories? I saw a pretty good show in Charlotte 8/96 with Crazy Horse. An up-and-coming Jewel was the opening act. 2. The question that I would most like to get the ball rolling on, do you know of any "hidden gems" or "deep cuts" by popular artists. Here are two of mine: Warren Zevon - Accidentally Like A Martyr. Van Morrison - Days Like This.
