  1. This signing has Russ Brandon written all over it. Why? The Bills image has taken a BIG hit over the past nine years. They were about to take a big hit in season ticket sales and they know it. Count me in as one of the people who believe DJ had no say in this one. Jauron is dead man walkin. I cannot wait until he starts pacing the sidelines tearing into Trent and Turk when things don't go well.
  2. 3 games per season the other 80+ injured...this guy was the equivalent of Chris Chandler of football
  3. This is very sad.....I was an news intern at WTVH back in 1989 and thier news department was a powerhouse of talent on and off the camera. Back then it was owned by Meredith Corporation which was a company that understood that you have to spend money to make money. They were #1 until the station was sold to Granite Corp in 1994 and the blood bath began. Popular talent let go, did everything on the cheap, thus WTVH tumbled to #3 in the ratings basement for a while thanks to Granite and their poor ownership. The building that housed WTVH is a beautiful old building with lots of tradition and memories back when TV meant something. Now that it has been gutted and shut down makes me very sad and I blame Granite Corp for their poor ownership and being cheap as well a being a victim of "drive by" managers who pop in....lay someone off...then transfer out in 3 months. Goodbye WTVH news...I will miss you much
  4. Ever since he got here our free agents have done nothing to make this team better. Dockery, Gandy, Reyes, Fitzpatrick, Whittle, Tripplett, ....a lot more misses than hits. Remember the days of Bryce Paup, Ted Washington, Jim Jeffcoat? The pro personnel guy knew what he was doing and what was needed to be successful. I think he came here with TD? He should resign..they can find someone better.
  5. Home: Miami, New England, N.Y. Jets, Houston, Indianapolis, Cleveland, New Orleans, Tampa Bay Away: Miami, New England, N.Y. 6. I ain't got no nuthin so I shoulda called my women and she said you're got too pollups in yore cologne. Isn't a felloknee to have pollups in you're cologne should of??
  7. but but...the Bills are changing their logo for their 50th anniversary...I am running down to get tickets tomorrow!!!*cough**cough*
  8. If I were a top notch free agent logic says I would want to go where there is some atmosphere of winning and an owner who does what it takes and is comitted to winning. This team has not made the playoffs in 9 years and a coach who is on a short leash who could very well be gone after this coming season. DJ's career record speaks for itself....he is terrible. The front office is a mess and has not exactly been great in the evaluation of talent in Free Agency or in the draft in the past 9 years. Yes money does make a difference but if the working atmosphere is poor I would never go to a company that has major problems with management and has a cheap owner who does not get it. Would you?
  9. Playing for NE and belechick or Jauron and the Bills?hmmmmm that's a tough one!!
  10. Why should we go after him when we have wonderful TE's who dominate according to Dick Jauron's global assessments of his players?
  11. Why should we get Haynesworth when we have Kyle Williams dominating and playing well per Dick Jauron's global assessments of all his players?
  12. What Fred Taylor's options: *Come work for the Patriots with Belechick and Brady/Cassel with winning records and great chance for playoffs or *work for 7-9 Dick and cheapo Ralph Logic wins out....
  13. Get AAA coverage....its worth it....tell that guy to go away...20 bucks...gimme a break.
  14. My bad...I meant Robert Loggia
  15. I love Robert Loggia in this scene against a road rager.....enjoy Road rage revenge
  16. Yes even the best pilots make mistakes and yes my disdain for them applies to regional jets too....let me clarify...I actually meant the larger planes above the regional jets like the Boeing 717 and bigger. Those jets are flown by more experienced pilots with more flight hours and IMHO I will take a more experienced pilot flying a bigger and stable jet aicraft than a smaller sputtering prop plane that weaves everywhere during approach with someone who lets say has only 1/2 the amount of experience...I have flown prop planes and they are terrible to fly on...they simply cannot tolerate ice as well as the bigger planes.
  17. Time for a talk with a lawyer regarding the surgeons "mistake".
  18. This is why I will NEVER EVER fly a prop plane which is what it was here. Those planes are accidents waiting to happen especially in the winter. Unlike jets...they do not do well in icy conditions whereas jets can tolerate icy conditions better. These prop planes are unsteady, and not safe compared to jets, and have less expereinced pilots flying them. My prayers go out as well..........
  19. Time magazines Man of the Year when it comes out........ That man deserves a raise Agree?
  20. "I got you now Tommy Tucker and I'm going to take you to the principal's office"
  21. part of my job entails me to visit Rochester General Hospital on a weekly basis. I spoke with some of the staffers I work with and they told me the hallways around the hospital in the common areas were flooded with police officers from many different departments walking around. Looked like a police station instead of a hospital. Nice to see such support. I also saw on various tv interviews that the Mayor of Rochester (Robert Duffy- fmr Rochester police chief as well) is ticked off like you cannot believe and is working on changing the law so people like this have harsher penalites for minors who commit this savagery. Good for him. Sorry about your friend. I do not know him but I am glad he is recovering and not deceased. He does face a long road ahead of him (ie: inpt intensive physical therapy after he is transferred from the floor, etc....) but I have worked with Dr Paul Maurer (the MD who operated on Tony) on an admin basis and he is a damn good doctor, one of the best neurosurgeons ever, IMHO. Just keep praying for him like his parents instructed all of us to do up here.
  22. Weakest? QB, RB, OT, OG, C, WR, TE, DE, DT, LB, SS, FS, and CB Coaching, ownership, front office, scouting, talent, free agency, yep that pretty much about covers it
  23. Just got through watching a press conference here in Rochester, NY on TV.. 23 year old rookie RPD officer responds to a drug complaint questions loitering kids on sidewalk finds no reason to question or detain them...walks away and for his trouble gets shot in the head while his back is turned by one of the 14 yr old cowardly kids. NICE!! Hope this punk loser rots in prison for a long time. www.democratandchronicle.com
