... but is he worth Stevie Johnson + our first to trade up?
Maybe stevie, 9 & our 3rd rounder. I like Sj but he isn't worth more than a 4th in trade value.
-
I would love this pick as long as they keep the 2nd round pick in the trade up. Give them a 3 this year and next.
-
I don't have a problem going up for Watkins, it's just too much in my opinion. 9,73 & sj with 4th round in2015 would be much better. They have made great picks in the 2nd round the last few years. Kiko, Glenn, Byrd, Woods, hell even Levitre.
Please make sure to keep 41.
Also with what "we're going to offer" couldn't we get to 2 (Rams pick)?
-
First I think Atlanta goes to 1 for Clowney. I think we trade with Houston to 6 to get ahead of Tampa and take Evans. Our 9, 5th and SJ or our 9 and 73. Then Houston could have their pick of qb's @ 9 plus a boatload of other picks from us and Falcons. It costs too much to go any higher than 6.
Hopefully the qb's go early but that doesn't look like the case.
-
4th OT would be super horrible. Not as bad as picking a kicker but real close. If the draft plays out that way They HAVE TO TAKE EBRON or trade down if possible.

Version 1.0: 4/22/14
1. Johnny Manziel - Oakland Raiders
2. Jadeveon Clowney - Houston Texans
3. Blake Bortles - Arizona Cardinals
4. Khalil Mack - Jacksonville Jags
5. Mike Evans - Tampa Bay Bucs
I think the qb's are going to slide.
Also, Thanks Tomcat for doing this it's always fun.
Version 2.0: with trades
1. Johnny Manziel - Cowboys (qb's slide and Jerruh trades up possibly with Oakland)
2. Jadeveon Clowney - Altlanta (Falcons trade up to 1)
3. Blake Bortles - Arizona Cardinals (Bortles is the wild card anywhere from 8 to 26)
4. Khalil Mack - Jacksonville Jags
5. Mike Evans - Buffalo Bills (Houston slides back 3 spots)
Version 3.0 : 5/8/14
1. Johnny Manziel - Cowboys (qb's slide and Jerruh runs to the podium)
2. Jadeveon Clowney - Houston (they are asking too much in trade)
3. Blake Bortles - Arizona Cardinals (Bortles is the wild card anywhere from 8 to 26)
4. Khalil Mack - Jacksonville Jags
5. Mike Evans - Buffalo Bills (Oakland slides back 4 spots)
-
Nightmare scenario: Evans is somehow still on the board with say Ebron and the Bills take Barr or Lewan.
-
He doesn't have QB Carr in the 1st two rounds? McCarron going at 33. Barr at 9. I hope he's way off.
-
I would hate the Lewan pick.
I would loathe the Barr pick (one trick pony as quoted by others)
I wouldn't like the Dix pick (but I understand it's a need)
I could get behind most of the other possible selections in most mock drafts.

It's only funny when Adam Sandler does it.

Well Jim Kelly has an estimated net worth of 19 million, has zero experience, yet is considered by many to be in the running.
JBJ in addition to having a higher net worth, has been an owner of a sports franchise before (Arena Football).
Who knows who will end up owning the Bills. But Bon Jovi is no sillier than Jim Kelly in my mind.
I'm not sure where I thought his net worth would be but 19 Million seems light. I have never heard a figure for him. Where did that come from?
-
OK - seems like a freshman mistake. Not good, but not condemning.
I did not have the details just knew he plead guilty. I still am on the Murray bandwagon, plus I think he goes later than 3rd round with than knee of his.
-
I like his work ethic. Hopefully it translates on to the field.
Right now I'm 50/50 on him surviving but there's only a 10% chance of that!
-
I think overall this is a weak QB class. As was last year. I don't like Mettenberger's sexual battery charge/conviction.
If we're going to wait until the 4th round or later I like Murray if he's available there.
-
How does he not have G listed as a need. I think we're deeper at TE and WR than guard.
-
I like Mack, but taking an OLB from Buffalo with the #1 pick in a draft with good top OL, DL, and QB prospects is just OUT there. Anything can happen on draft day, but as someone said above, a prediction like this screams of attention grabbing.
Mayock has also been quoted as saying Mack would be his 1st pick as well.
-
Ok I say he wants to leave because he hates losing (who can blame him) So it has to be a team with potential, money and connections
1) EAGLES: won the division last year, young good QB, RB & coach
2) 6 years
3) Total 68 million
4) 33 guaranteed

I am a fan of Murray as well. Built like Brees. Played well in the SEC, that injury should cause him to slide to us hopefully in the 4th round.
-
I was listening to NFL Sirius last night. They seemed higher on Murray ("has a very live arm but just 6'1") and Metzberger (sp?) than they were on McCarron. They felt the 4th would be too early for AJ McCarron.
-
RW and the NFL thank you for your patronage.
-
Merry Christmas, Shitter's full.
-
The 1st thing I do is give $10,000 to RW personal nurse to smoother him with a pillow to end his and our misery.
The I use the transistion tag on Byrd. Let him and his agent get the best deal they can, I'll match if it's not redonkulous.
Chandler can go as we'll be drafting a stud TE
I like Branch and Carrington for depth.
Keep hogan for camp competitiion.
I like Sanders as well..
I would like to keep carpenter as well. But we maybe outbid for him. He has an amazing year.
Lewis can stay as well as we found out his year you can never have enough QB's. Also Marone will be told to keep 3 on the roster and 1 on the PS (it will be this way as along as I am GM). PLus we will draft 1 every other year
that's a solid start to the offseason.

I've always been a fan of the teams my dad roots for in sports (NHL, MLB, NFL) I have a 2 year old myself and got him all kinds of Bills gear and already try to get him watching games with me. After sleeping on it last night, I honestly feel it would be cruel to have my son suffer through the agony of being a Bills fan. I feel I should set him free and let him choose his own team (except the pats). Does anyone else feel this way?
Probably a good idea. Especially if you don't live in Bflo.
Other teams I would add to your list: Miami, Jets & Cowboys.

Wouldn't get more than a 4th so no Thank you. Also Atlanta should be looking @ Gordon in Cleveland. He's more of a Julio than SJ. Plus Roddy White isn't getting any younger. Gordon will cost the Falcons a 2nd rounder. San fran is rumored to kicking the tires, Atlanta needs him more!
