Actually thought this might be a Jimmy Spags topic.
It would be great if there was a topic/thread where people posted reactions.

Then I feel as if Beane has failed. They spent 9 months gathering picks and they can't take the final step (s).
Maybe then take Rudolf or Jackson at 22, which ever lasts that long. Still a colossal failure.

Nice Job as always. This is the reason we all look. I really hope Dorsey goes with the biggest arm/biggest ceiling because I think our FO likes Allen as well.
-
I read his column every week. Usually very good. Only complaint is his love of all things Pats*.

Not a chance this regime gets fired for 1 QB miss. They already made it to the playoffs without a top 10 QB while shipping most of our top picks from recent years. If they can continue to put competitive teams on the field with limited talent they'll be given the time they need to recover from any lost draft capital.
Hopefully they would own up to the busted pick and move on quickly (unlike most regimes), That and the above would increase their chances of staying put and drafting/finding a true franchise QB.

Version 2.0
1. Sam Darnold - Jets
2. Josh Rosen - Bills
3. Josh Allen - Cardinals
4. Baker Mayfield - Browns
5. Lamar Jackson - Chargers
Bonus: Bills Pick -Rosen
Thanks again. This is always fun!

Atleast put a "?" In the title of the thread. Ppl are gonna think we made a trade, just like I thought(gullable i guess, but title is misleading)
+1
Also, I don't hate it because supposedly this draft is not very good for teams needing WR help.

I sit firmly in the camp of “the Bills receivers are bad.” Would you deal a late round pick to the Bears for Kevin White? He is seemingly healthy (finally) and they have added Robinson and Gabriel. It’s probably not likely that White regains his form but was an elite talent just a few years ago.
I like the upside. Lets put a package together that get's us to 8 and gets uS White.
Thoughts?

After reading that it's hard to believe 4 will go in the top 10. Good read. Hopefully NYG and Denver FO's feel the same way.

I went with Rosen. Foles was very close though. Except for Moore, Anderson & Peterman all should be considered an upgrade.

In a perfect world this mock happens. However, Beane said he'd have something better before moving on from Tyrod. Hoping Baker falls to ten AND the Raiders decide to trade out of 10 does not seem like a lock. There has to be something else in the works.
It's either Foles/McCarron/Keenum or a trade into the top 3. Otherwise you can't trust the process but hope for a process.
-
I picked B. 2 caveats though .1 ) not For Allen (that completion % is scary). 2) Please don't give all that up, possibly keep a 1st or 2nd. seems like too much.
Choice A is very close depending what Cousins will need to sign moneywise.
-
He adds to the list of potential starting qb's available though FA & draft. Hopefully, our FO get's it right.
Was Daboll in Alabama when he was there? Obv I did NOT google it.

all better then Taylor. Because they can actually play the position. With Taylor you have to game plan just to do the things he is capable of doing. These other guys all can play the position and make all of the throws. Yes they are deficient is some areas but you have to defend against everything
They are all flawed. It's just what flaws you can live with. I could live with TT's if there is a top pick waiting in the wings, not so much for the other 3.
-
I'd rather keep TT than Anderson, Henne, or Moore. Gase waited all of 2 minutes to sign Cutler instead of letting Moore play the season.
-
He may have just needed a get-with-the-program wake-up call.
Could be. They were listening to offers. Maybe someone sweetens the deal.
-
i wouldn't be surprised to see Glenn out the door soon.

I couldn't find the option "Anytime they win".

Spags! Welcome back. Where have you been.
I think we'd all love a weekly post and it doesn't have to be all football. Please.
