  1. I think this was a message game. Miami was not in one of those "let's get this over and run for the bus" modes. They had a lit riding on this. Thad looked good enough to challenge the oft injuredvej, but I think the job is still ej's. Very impressive win

Defense won this game as are QB play has been terrible all year and we need help there big time as are wide receivers do to but are defense is fine .
  2. Calvin Johnson had a couple of key drops which may have cost them the game and now has nine on the year.

So weird. I thought only Stevie dropped passes. Guess the lions should cut this bum also.

Ya but Calvin is open when he's not open and you cannot say that about stevie !

Nice pick 6 vs the nyg. 20-20.

    7-7. Stafford is the worst.

No he is a Jay Cutler wanna be :-)
  3. 1) Aaron Williams played his ass off today and I for one appreciate this.

    2) Dareus recorded 4 tackles and 2 assists, but imo he didn't play so well. He provided vey little push up the middle.

    3) Marrone is a horror show. I am sorry, but he is. Before the deuce at the half, he cost us 7 points. This is not the first time he has hurt us before the half. And really, are you looking at him? Does he not look lost? Please list coaches that you think are worse than him.

    4) Mario is just great. Seriously, the man is GREAT!!!!! He took over this game and won us a divisional game on the road. This is what is supposed to happen with players on whom a team invests their most resources. It was wonderful to see this fantastic player play at such a high level, no?

    5) If anybody wants to sing the praises of Gilmore, please do. That said, I loved what I saw from Robey!!!

    6) Kyle Williams recovered the fumble, but he was not all that impressive. I am thinking that the Bills gave up a bit too much up the middle. I don't know what his story is.

    7) Sun went down in honey,

    Moon came up in wine.

    Stars were spinnin' dizzy,

Lord, the band kept us so busy,

    We forgot about the time.

    They're a band beyond description

    Like Jehovah's favorite choir.

    People joinin' hand in hand

While the music plays the band.

Lord, they're setting us on fire!!!

    8) Robert Woods didn't have great numbers today, but I am just SO impressed with this kid. I feel like he is always helping this football team.

    10) Granted, Choice and SJ had brutal drops in the first quarter, but both missed passes appeared to have been forced and lacking in touch.

    11) There should have been more called running plays to Lewis. Period. I won't back down on this and I blame Marrone.

    12) Kudos to McKelvin for playing what I think was the best game of his life.

    13) Congrats to my Bills friends!!!!!!!

    14) GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ROBEY is A GAMER !!!
  4. While I acknowledge that Jerry Jones has done a better then average job as his own GM. I can even say I understand his thoughts on the matter. Why hire someone and pay them when you think you can pretty much do as good or even a better job, and your philosophies may conflict with his. After all he did learn from Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcells.

This is the thing that gets me tho, the Colts owner Jim Irsay is a complete tool in my view as I can't stand him for so many reasons. Unlike his father before him, who had his hands in every aspect of the team like JJ has, the son was smart enough to recognize the talent in Bill Polian for GM and hire him to run his team. When other teams tried to hire him away Irsay made him president, and thus giving him complete immunity from losing him. 11 years of winning seasons with countless division championships and two trips to the SB, and one win.

I think Jerry Jones is smarter then Jim Irsay and could hire a Polian clone. My take is he is such a power hungry control freak he wants to prove he can get a team to a SB win all on his own. After all, he wanted to take all the credit for the Jimmy Johnson wins, and rubbed it in Johnson's nose when he won with Barry Switzer as head coach.

Like I said, I'm happy Jones thinks enough of himself to be his own GM ...I'll bet the NY Giants are happy also.

You can put 90% of his success to Peyton Maning : )
