How was that Wilson interception called back? He caught in the air and downed it with his hand underneath it didnt he? Or am I being a homer? -

The reason we are getting the sacks is that Beck is holding on to the ball too long imho. -

Strength of Schedule and our record
bladiebla replied to Dorkington's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Both the Bengals game and the Giants game we had crucial ref decicions against us (the completed pass by Johnson that was somehow called incomplete and not overturned and the PI on Freddy that was extremely clear, both calls caused punts and both would have given us a new set of downs in a favourable situation). In my book we should be 6-0 and have been very unlucky with the refs on both losses. -
Wierd... Campbell is/was doing great for them...

Fitz allready underthrew for an INT on the exact same play earlier in the game, why risk it all and call it again... If you are going to call a pass play call something else, but yes it was a poor throw and a mistake by Fitz. Both coach and Fitz are to blame, coach first of all for risking it all and Fitz for not taking care of the ball (better make sure it goes over and out if it misses the receiver).

Turnovers, Drayton and the refs ginving the Giants the TD that wasnt and not giving us the clear PI against Jackson was too much to over come. Hopefully we'll have everybody back after the bye week.

wtf did Drayton have for dinner today :/

Ty, I had that mixed up apparently.

Why in the world was that a rekick and not a first and ten on the Buff 41? Penalties did offset so play stands does it not? /puzzled

What an awesome cover! -
At this point anything is possible, heh we could go 19-0, looking at the schedule the game at the Giants could be the 6-0 or 5-1 game as things stand now, followed by a tough schedule after the bye... My optimistic prediction, if we are to go without crucial injuries: 4 Oct 02 BUF @ CIN Paul Brown Stadium 1:00 PM W 5 Oct 09 PHI @ BUF Ralph Wilson Stadium 1:00 PM W 6 Oct 16 BUF @ NYG MetLife Stadium 1:00 PM W 7 Bye 8 Oct 30 WAS @ BUF Rogers Centre 4:05 PM W 9 Nov 06 NYJ @ BUF Ralph Wilson Stadium 1:00 PM W 10 Nov 13 BUF @ DAL Cowboys Stadium 1:00 PM L 11 Nov 20 BUF @ MIA Sun Life Stadium 1:00 PM W 12 Nov 27 BUF @ NYJ MetLife Stadium 1:00 PM L 13 Dec 04 TEN @ BUF Ralph Wilson Stadium 1:00 PM W 14 Dec 11 BUF @ SD Qualcomm Stadium 4:15 PM L 15 Dec 18 MIA @ BUF Ralph Wilson Stadium 1:00 PM W 16 Dec 24 DEN @ BUF Ralph Wilson Stadium 1:00 PM W 17 Jan 01 BUF @ NE Gillette Stadium 1:00 PM L Lol, without looking at yours while filling it in I see that ours are very similar and that I indeed get 12-4 out of it as well. Chargers, Jets, Cowboys and NE* are what scare me in the schedule if Vick is indeed out for week 5. I do see us loose to the Jets twice though but have given us the homefield advantage, divisional prediction 6-2. Crazy stuff... as things go now we could be 15-0 going into week 17. This team has the championship feel to it, do I believe 100% what I predicted here, no, not yet, but it does feel that way, heart and brain dont match yet. Prediction written from the heart. Allthough the heart screams 19 - 0 lol.

" If Gailey is for real, let's see him prove it by shaping up Marshawn Lynch or shipping him out of town." Well he was spot on with that one and given Gailey his track record I can't blame him for giving him a 20% chance to succeed. Gailey was a run first guy and 4-3 defense guy, but he has showed resilence by implementing a spread variance and switching to 3-4/4-3 mix. Gailey took risk and designed a hungry no-ego team taking advantage of them feeling undervalued/overlooked, and implemented a bold spread offense variant that supports both run and pass, that is paying off now. Could it have backfired? Sure could have. Can it still backfire? One injury in the wrong department (say Fitz for example) and it could all crumble, then again that goes for most teams. Given Gailey his statistical track record and the whole we're going to get the best coach ever campaign I find Sully his column spot on given the what the situation was at the time he wrote it. Did he overreact somewhat to the 20/80 thing Nix said, sure, even seemed like he took that comment personal. Definition of a column: Short piece of prose in which the author ventilates his or her opinion in a challenging and provoking way. Stop thinking columns are factual journalistic pieces where no rebutal is possible. -
Frankly, the Jets do look to be something we can struggle against so with regards to that part of the statement I agree with the reporter. With regards to NE*, if we have McGee back for that game we may be able to deal with Welker, then again the challenge will be handling not one but 2 super TE's. Division wise it's key that we sweep home, take Miami away and win either Jets or Pats* away.

Let's review the "vaunted" Bengals defense this season

Bengals defense does seem to be decent to good against the run, could be a rough day for Freddy. -
One Million Moms crush Schweddy Balls
bladiebla replied to Beerball's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Hmmm those One Million Moms better go back to school first... Rum icecream and complaining about how the name is not suited for kids? Wow... Difference is flavored versus actually containing rum. Alcohol is proven to limit brain growth with children. See http://pubs.niaaa.nih.gov/publications/arh25-3/185-191.htm And eurhm rum flavored lifesavers, really??? Wow that would be illegal down here... (not allowed to stimulate alcohol use by children through any means) -
Pics or it didnt happen! And whoohooo looking forward to the return of the Maybin watch...
