Hmm disagree strongly here, scheme and coach change often means that it starts to click in the second year, certainly not right of the bat. Especially considering the time it takes to develop LBs and how weak we are there which means new blood incoming on LB. Surely we'll be a far better D next year but I'd seriously doubt it will be top 5 material yet. The year after I'm hopefull though.

Why in the world would we want a QB that was outplayed by Shaun Hill and other backups year in and year out. Gibran Hamdan was a far better QB then Shaun Hill in his time over here so following that line of though we ought to drag Gibran Hamdan out of retirement. Seriously though...NO. Rather take a gamble on Nassib or suffer through another year with Fitz then having Smith.

Aha finally the boiling water to pour on the ground up coming from the freezer. I didnt like Gailey when he was hired, then I actually liked what I saw offense wise in his first two years... But I love this hire, it certainly makes me think this could work out great, however staffing is going to be essential. I hope we don't wind up with a bunch of college guys on staf again. This guy has W written all over his track record; where as Gailey kept an existing program going at it's current level where as Gailey his successor greatly improved on Gailey his record in his first year allready. Yes, good choice, now let's see if he can pass the first test and show what he's about when staffing.

Actually, you are wrong, Tate had both hands on the ball together with Jennings before they went down see screenshots I posted in this thread:http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/150483-stop-complaining-about-the-replacement-refs/page__st__220?do=findComment&comment=2576374 There is a solid argument to be made about the moment of gaining control though, I think there is something to say for Jennings having control (not possesion mind you) first which then changes the rules which need to be applied which would come to an outcome of it being an interception I believe.
