NFL to examine quality of preseason, lower ticket prices
bladiebla replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's silly really, product isnt even close. That said, to avoid no shows tix for season holders should be 10 dollars or something and 25 for non season ticket holders. A full stadium compensates the losses on ticket prices by the gains from the concession and merchandise sales. -
NFL to examine quality of preseason, lower ticket prices

I wonder if they would sell out stadiums if they would play 4 teams in one stadium with each having 2 quarters of 20 minutes. Yay for Amsterdam! -
Bills ranked 29 out of 32 in new poll
bladiebla replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't call that a surprise tbh, for all the noise we made last year and turned out to be the same old Bills if not worse, people have no reason to pick the Bills any higher. Heh, I could see us being picked 32 for our historical record and yet another rebuild that isnt supposed to be called a rebuild. -
because he's with the Giants? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Jasper Giants | Likely will keep three QBs Mon, 15 Jul 2013 13:42:33 -0700 The New York Giants likely will keep three quarterbacks on their final roster to allow QB Ryan Nassib develop. QB David Carr likely will be the No. 2 quarterback because Nassib may not be ready for that role. Read more: http://www.kffl.com/player/27573/nfl/gnews.php?id=860857-giants---likely-will-keep-three-qbs#ixzz2bPBaStnd Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick won the quarterback competition by a long shot over QB Nick Foles in practice Wednesday, July 31. Vick connected with WR DeSean Jackson on two long touchdown scores. Vick tossed three TDs on the day and had some nice scrambles. Foles looked average and QB Matt Barkley struggled. Foles threw an interception and Barkley was only 8-for-16 with a touchdown pass and interception. Foles has held onto the ball too long and has been indecisive. His superb athltism makes up for his lackof "talent". If that dude would be able to feel the ball like Gillmore he would be elite.

Did Gailey and Fitz make the Oline look better than it is?
bladiebla replied to freester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The biggest issue on the offensive side was that the new qb coach they brought in started changing Fitz his mechanics, something he never got down. The line itself was good if not great when run blocking, a lot of that was on Levitre. -

League to Crack Down on Celebrations, etc.
bladiebla replied to uncle flap's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WTF... sport is emotion, on the field, in the stands and on the couch. Without emotion there wouldn't be any business side to it at all. Good grief, I so fail to understand their slef proclaimed need to regulate something that nobody thinks is an issue to start with. Burocrats. -
Keep Bruce, CJ can go up if he renews his contract, EJ if he takes us to the playoffs this year.

Bills vow Doug Marrone will make them winners
bladiebla replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great piece! -
Day to day I can live with, gives us a chance to see a bit more from Tuell as well (who intrigues me).

So now we're burying the Stevie injury news in this thread... Good grief... time to start looking for a new board.

An outsider's view of the 2013 Bills.
bladiebla replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's even more positive on twitter: "Finished up my stop in Buffalo- a dangerous team& EJ Manuel was impressive. 3 rookie WR's Woods, Goodwin and Rogers run&don't drop balls" -
OMG why wont they let it go and turn the whole thing into an oscars like show with the Pro Bowl selections being nominees to player of the year at their respective position,

So sick and tired of (most) local Buffalo media guys...
bladiebla replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like reading Graham his articles, that said, I totally unfollowed him years ago. He doesn't handle social media well and as such shouldnt be using it or mark his account private. He blocks people for the wierdest reasons, and feels the need to tweet about it too. Silly really, then again totally his right to do so. Also you choose to follow him and include him in tweets, that was your choice and your right. With regards to my earlier comment, I did indeed not read past the topic line and tags, which I normally always do before replying. I had just read the other thread of crap. -

Have you ever even read JW his articles? I love em and he's had his share of scoops too. Fair and balanced comes to mind. Edit: Coach Sal on your tag list too... I shouldnt have bothered with my reply I see. -
Ahhh the memories... my first post was eaten by the big Chroise Crash back in the day... :/

Asking for a raise today. Who's got tips?
bladiebla replied to The Big Cat's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Refuse the offer, demand to be the highest paid Big Cat out there and not the 3rd best. Demand your raises for the next 5 years to be in writing too. Threaten to holdout if they don't make you the best paid Big Cat, as the leverage is clearly yours. Sure they could trade you somewhere else for two juniors but why would they, since you are clearly the best Big Cat out there. Doesn't matter that other Big Cats got their deals prior to the crisis, the time is now! -
I agree with you, the one thread only nazis are ruining the board. Do you guys really expect us to shift through 54 pages to find the info we find interesting... Seems like a jump back to the good old listserver to me.

The only reason they all quote is that he made an extremely stupid offside penalty that cost them a game, Sounds like they paid for his lesson, hopefully he pans out with us as I get the feeling that we've regressed considerably with the o-line.

Brad Smith Renegotiates Contract
bladiebla replied to uncle flap's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At receiver maybe, in all honesty they both showed the same at receiver. At special teams Ruvell Martins was way better. As a returner Smith has the upper hand.
