  1. Just before the ball is punted, notice Summers himself was being held: Right after the punt (left circle is ball leaving), see middle circle for Summers being pushed same as right hand circle the same for opposing player (they both end up on the ground after that), see circle on Summers his left hand, he may have been holding or pushing the guy down there hard to see: Summers pushing through with hand on the guys helmet which is loose apparently and comes off, notice that the ref is not making any actions towards throwing the flag and the ball is long gone by that time. Summers clearly being held while he has no contact going himself anymore, NOTICE THE REF REACHING FOR HIS FLAG in reaction to that: Flag is thrown and in the air, the throwing of the flag is a direct progression from the motion started by the ref when Summers was pulled down (you see Summers tumbling forwards here as a result of that pull): As far as I can see it, defensive holding after the ball was snapped could have been called (for pushing/pulling off the helmet) with the correct call being offsetting holding penalties but the holding prior to the ball being kicked call was plain wrong.
  2. 2-48 and a dodgy call against him, jeah let's cut him... bah.
  3. Honestly the game was far from boring, it was a great defense battle with good adjustments on both sides.
  4. The key is that our offense needs to produce more (heh 24 average would do it). The downside to the no huddle things besides having wear and tear on the D is that the opposing team gets more drives since more time remains on the clock so scores are bound to go up a little bit. Would we run a huddle offense the D would most likely have given up around 4 points less on average. The philosophy for the offense is meant to be very similar to that of the D, dictate, we've seen flashes of it but not enough as of yet imho.
  5. Yet Bradham had a nice hit on his one play where as Moats got burned a couple of times. Most likely because Moats is the better run stopper and they expected a lot of runs from CAR.
  6. Who cares about attention, they can have their story when we're in the playoffs
  7. Because the ball needs to come out of the endzone, not the player. So it was the right call.
  8. This! Everyone is laying it on Chandler but it's the way he's being used versus how Gailey used him that seems to be the difference.
  9. It was a miscommunication between the Panthers DBs (most likely due to all the injuries).
  10. Again that goes back to camp I believe, he has the arm for it for sure. But during camp the defense was murder at times resulting in a lot of INTs on deep throws due to pressure (also a lot of TDs when successfull). Might be a confidence thing or maybe even conservative playcalling from Hackett as he doesnt seem to hesitate to throw the deep ball on his 2 minute drives. Bottomline is that he looks the real deal.
  11. Gailey used Chandler a little deeper, something Hackett hopefully picks up on. Great comment.
  12. I think this shows the two weeks he missed in practise. I have high hopes for EJ considering how good he is during 2 minute drives, something he has practised and refined most during camp. There also seems to be the occasional route issue as well as timing. But all seem to be very coachable mistakes.
  13. Jup he's making all the difference against the run, wonder why the Panthers started being able to move the chains running in their last two drives though.
  14. Agreed, Panthers should have gone for that 4th down conversion instead of the FG, they had almost nothing to gain from another FG. Had they converted they would have won it, well worth the try imho. Bad coaching on the Panthers side of things for a change.
  15. Coughing syrop sadly... :/
  16. You know what, I despise the Pats* but I actually have a lot of respect for Wilforks wife. She rates his performance on every drive and tells him the ratings. Apparently she is far more critical then any of his coaches and he quotes her as being a major factor in his development. I wish our players had 53 wifes like that.
  17. From a defense point of view it was a great game imho. I'm not sold on this offensive scheme as of yet, it just doesn't feel ready or finished yet, Gailey's scheme sure felt more entertaining. Maybe that is why you would say you hated the first 58 minutes. Anyway, personally I thought it was a great game, then again I like defense battles.
  18. McKelvin has had 2 good games so far this year, either he improved or is a better match with this scheme. I dunno he seems to stick to his man better that's for sure. Rogers didn't win a single play it seemed.
  19. That was no iffy PI, it was a very good call by the refs. SJ was on a timing patern and got held/jammed, else SJ would have been where the ball was.
  20. You know what, I agree with you there. Take away the mistakes and we have a winner. This team hasn't looked as full of potential as they did today in a long long time. That said, Brady* was struggling with his receivers, partially due to pressure but also due to lack of chemistry.
  21. The bottomline is run CJ on the outside not the inside, have Fred run the inside. Sure it's gonna be transparent that way, but that is clearly where their strenghts are (and their weaknesses vica versa).
  22. 4) Hmm, not when we keep running him on the inside. 8) Jup, gotta hand it, Searcy played a heck of a game today. 12) Jup, hurt his hand according to the annoucers. 14) GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. enjoy your life long ban dopehead...
  24. I hope Marrone has learned not to let CJ run inside...
  25. Pats* kicker was 4th last year in # of TBs...
