  1. To be fair, he isnt calling them yet is he... He's just installing them...
  2. I believe he said he studied film on Wilson, Kaepernick and Rodgers as well as having rewatched all his own gamefilm twice.
  3. As far as I remember and not having looked it up he was hitting Woods and Goodwyn on the sidelines in OTA's last year. Started to struggle a bit when the pads came on. Don't give away film on him imho...
  4. Sigh... That's just so wrong. With all the Bills players that have (or had) offfield issues there is one common denominator; they're relatively light as in "normal" boys growing up misbehaving. Pot? Alcohol before being 21? I'd say 95% of this board has been there pre-21 and prolly plenty worse, difference being we didnt have reporters writing about our misbehaviors whilst in college/highschool. With regards to Dareus, he's prolly over compensating as a result of trying to deal with the grief of loosing his brother, the guy needs a hobby that he trully enjoys that doesn't take him to jails...
  5. Central Terminal is intriguing, incoorperated major convention centre, have train and metro stations underneath, upgrade infrastructure, add hotels, and offices and that area will be booming. Then again a similar event location (add music halls, shopping malls, nightlife as well) that would be max 2 hours (ideally 1.5 hours but that isnt feasable I think) drive from Rochester, Buffalo and Toronto might make the most economical sense (basicly building a business and entertainment city surrounding the stadium).
  6. Jup, the thing guys like him need to get into their thick skull is simple; layoff the parties for ten years, work like crazy, be better then the best and then party for 80 years afterwards.
  7. That's just suicide against the Pats*
  8. This was the kickstarter that went with this vid: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/495866497/losing-it Surprise surprise he didnt get the funding for that..... lol
  9. They made the AFC Title game and basicly were 2 wins away from a Super Bowl ring... Jeah I wouldnt call that elite either...
  10. To me Schaub and Stafford are the most outstanding options of that list; also the list forgot Jake Locker who might be on his way out of Tenessee (allthough that could allready happen this year).
  11. Litteral translation of Dames Hek in Dutch is Ladies Fence... Just so you know...
  12. That is up to the current attending fanbase, if they all take their season tickets then the stadium will be crazy loud to the point where it will scare off some casuals (again with the Amsterdam Admirals example, but the organization there had a big issue due to the noise we produced as it was driving the casuals out of the stadium; they actually added a noise free section in the quietest part of the stadium to cater for those people. Then again with the Admirals you HAD to wear earplugs otherwise you'd have ringing ears for a couple of days). The key with the more casual fans that do come to the visit is that often they are just as passionate about the team but are a bit more relucatant to make themselves heard, if everybody is making noise they'll follow suit. The great thing about attending American Football games is that fans can actually influence the game if they trully get behind disrupting the other team it's huddle. If done right the fans are indeed the 12th man on the field.
  13. Lol, decent fake, would remove it though as it does cross the line a little and may be considered a legit threat by some...
  14. New domed stadium @ the Falls, I say multiple Super Bowls. The NFL loves a pretty picture.
  15. Thing is he hasnt spend that much time behind bad olines/on his back. I see him reach 40 easy.
  16. Back in the NFL Europe days of the Amsterdam Admirals, they played their home games in the Amsterdam Arena (the first stadium in the world with a retractable roof/dome). As fans we were always hoping for the roof to be closed, because the roof resonated the sound back onto the field thus allowing us to completly disrupt the offense huddles of the opposing team. We've gone unbeaten at home so often even with terrible teams while we were unable to win any games on the road, simply due to the noise levels. Our nouse levels were so loud that opposing coaches got together and filed a complaint with the league (which resulted in the banning of fans using WW2 air raid sirens... ). A dome built to resonate sound can be a huge huge huge advantage and one that the fans can control. Forget snow games, give the team a dome and bring shame on the 12th man in Seattle.
  17. He wont move the team, however he'll convert it to a soccerteam...
  18. Hah, easy, done! And lol: https://twitter.com/...onJovi?src=hash Sign the petition: http://www.12thmanthunder.com/petition (only USA and Canadians are counted as Bills fans eligible to sign apparently even though us otherlanders also buy our merchandise and some even make the trip to Buffalo... end rant...). Do sign it though, that petition needs to go up to 100k signees.
  19. A long term deal was on the table two years in a row, I'm not saying he didnt want to be in Buffalo but he certainly didnt want to stay in Buffalo either if it meant taking less money (question is how much difference there was between the two offers guaranteed money wise; if the difference was 10 million I understand him however if it was 2 million on the 20 then heh it's not like he'll be able to spend it all anyway...
  20. Sure, but he wouldnt have said it in the way he said it if it doesnt hold some truth, maybe I'm giving it too much weight, but as they say where there is smoke there is fire smouldering... After reading that bb.com article I felt it deserved it's own thread, that out of the way... From that sense the FO certainly did deliver a strong message to the team with their very aggressive draft this year. Still leaves the question if that is sufficient to wake up the vets and hopefully they go beyond shrugging their shoulders "now that their job is on the line with Ralph passed away, now they can be agrresive and look to be a winner, meh"....
  21. On bb.com this article is posted: Drafting winners could serve Bills well In his Sirius interview Eric Wood was quoted as saying: "a lot of the opportunity we had last year we let slip away, everyone is taking a business approach where it is just about winning." That statement has me worried, it is basicly saying that the vets didnt buy into Marrone's Win mentality or worse don't even care about it at all and just want to collect their paychecks much like euhrm regular employees... Most if not all our drafted players come from winning programs don't they? So how will that turn around a teams attitude? Given the respect rookies have for vets it's far more likely the other way around in the sense that the vets will "teach" the rookies that the NFL is all about business and keeping that paycheck coming in the mail, where as college was for fun, the game, winning and as a bonus a job interview for the NFL. Your thoughts? Also who are these vets that are all about business over result? Eric Wood certainly doesnt strike me to be one of them. The easy and most desireable answer would obviously be SJ and Byrd, but is that really the case? Or was it more a matter of the Defensive side of the team giving up after seeing the offense and not believing in the offense? Part of a winning culture is the Defense believing in the Offense and the other way around it seems to me, the other part is the Defense and Ofense need to hate each other in an extreme competitive form in order to bring out the best in either unit. Taking it as far as gameday where they need to challenge each other, from the Offense making up a mistake made on the Defense and the other way around whilst rubbing it in each others faces, yet being able to celebrate together when the result is a W. I dunno it's all nice in theory but it all falls apart if people don't change their mentality, and peoples mentality is a hard thing to change...
  22. Not sure what you mean to say with that, it's been clear the FO has been contigency planning with regards to the RB future but also with regards to getting straight up the middle results that CJ isnt delivering. Backs: 48 Rodriguez, Evan FB 6-1 245 25 3 Temple 38 Summers, Frank FB 5-9 248 28 1 UNLV 35 Brown, Bryce RB 6-0 220 23 3 Kansas State 26 Dixon, Anthony RB 6-1 233 26 5 Mississippi State 22 Jackson, Fred RB 6-1 216 33 8 Coe College 28 Spiller, C.J. RB 5-11 200 26 5 Clemson 42 Wingo, Ronnie RB 6-3 231 23 1 Arkansas
  23. Thx Jboy, much appreciated! With regards to the TC remark, that's just being realistic especially with lots of changes going on at the line. I'm more worried about this part however: "a lot of the opportunity we had last year we let slip away, everyone is taking a business approach where it is just about winning." That there tells me the whole winning thing atmosphere is far from established, he is basicly saying that his teammates care about their paychecks, future contracts and health more then they do about giving it their all to win.
  24. Spiller will be gone after his contract is up; Quote: "It's my first rodeo. I'll take advice from guys that have been there before. I'll reach out to Jairus [byrd] and see how he handled it," Spiller said. "I haven't talked to him. I've seen him this offseason but I will [reach out] eventually." Source: http://espn.go.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/8959/spiller-will-hire-agent-reach-out-to-byrd
  25. First of all I hated loosing Byrd as well however we weren't beating the Pats* with him either, secondly the Win Now statement is a media/fan thing, havent really heard anything that strong from the organisation.
