Also...One of the first games I attended, in 91. The Jets were in town on a brilliant, clear October day. I was really struck by how you could see the whole field, individual battles, stuff you missed watching on TV. I remember noticing James Lofton run his routes, letting the defender trail pretty close behind. Then on one play, he was off down the left sideline, and way downfield he suddenly shifted into a higher gear and put space between them. But before the burst of speed, I noticed Kelly cranking up and heaving it long. Lofton caught that bomb on his outstretched fingertips in full stride and took it in for the touchdown...what a crafty receiver!
I was hooked right then and there. Joined my buds in group season tickets and we're still going today.
