  1. That's because most people don't understand that they use those to set up plays off that later in the game out of the exact same look. So while you may be frustrated for a bit, most people are not frustrated when the Bills get rolling downhill and score on every possession from mid 2nd quarter to the end of the game usually. In large part to showing something early and coming back to the same look but a different play out of it later. There is a reason why the Bills lead the NFL in 2nd half point differential.
  2. If we are mostly healthy on D I think we win similar to the way we did this game.
  3. You realize our 4th down conversion rate is the best in the NFL right?
  4. Thru the first 3 games, the Bills ran on 55.56% of 1st downs. For the season right now they have run on 48.91% of first downs, which means they have upped their passing quite a bit to move the average that much over the other 8 games. Over the last 3 games they have run on 43.48% of first downs and against KC specifically they ran on 45.83% of first downs. So yes, they have become increasingly pass heavy as the year has gone on on first down. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/passing-first-down-pct?date=2024-11-21
  5. The running on first down criticism of Brady hasn't been valid since like week 4. Since then the Bills realized their tendencies and are far more balanced in terms of pass and run. Daboll was frustrating at times because we literally COULDN'T run the ball under him for much of the time until the Bills scrapped zone blocking and went to man blocking. We also had some really poor offensive performances under him against poor teams such as Jacksonville. To me, Brady has been better and more consistent than Daboll, IMO.
  6. No way of knowing this, the Jets could always moves players and picks to do so.
  7. I can't get to where everyone thinks he is somehow "talking trash". Everytime I have heard post game clips of him talking with Allen he has been nothing but gracious even when they lose. Simply think it's a situation where real recognizes real. And if you don't think KC has as much respect for the Bills and especially Josh Allen as any team and player in the league you are wrong. They are terrified of what Allen can do on the field from coaches to the players. They know Allen is the closest thing to Mahomes there is in the NFL and at times outplays him which rarely happens.
  8. I believe WP = Win Probability, ie the gain or loss in the probability the team wins by their 4th down decisions.
  9. That's why I think the biggest difference on defense could be Babich and him not being afraid to continue being aggressive in the playoffs where McD went more conservative in his playcalls.
  10. Can we please put to bed that McD is way too conservative/ultra conservative/some version of reality that isn't true?
  11. Might as well just rename these "Bills player of the week" at this point...is that 3 or 4 in a row now that a Bills player has won one of the awards?
  12. I'd have to imagine he likely has a huge following of female fans too...dude seems like a Man's Man and not that I typically judge other guys, but he is one really handsome dude.
  13. Chris Long loves him some Josh Allen.... And of course Fitz loves Allen too...
  14. Probably because the Bills are always good
  15. Cmon man...that dude never even appeared in a game for us I don't think. Let's be real, he was a Cardinal
  16. Ravens at Chargers is a tough one...the Harbaugh Bowl. Chargers D has been playing well mostly but Bengals lit them up in the 2nd half last week. I could see this game going either way. If I had to pick I would say the Ravens but I am not confident about it. Chargers are playing really well and so is Herbert. Purdy has a shoulder issue that seems to be limiting him somewhat and the 49ers have had issues scoring points all year. Packers are up and down also but I think they can put up more points than the 49ers can and will cover. That's a huge line but the Cowboys stink...however, it's a road game so they probably cover. In a Cowboys home game, I would definitely take the Commanders. I'll lean Cowboys...divisional games are always tough.
  17. In a regular season game when we always beat them? What's the point? The only way it would make sense would be in the playoffs but McD would never disrespect the game or his mentor Reid in that manner.
  18. I mean, no offense, but anyone worth their salt that has any connection to an NFL team as a QC analyst or breaks down film will be able to see what the other team is doing by watching the film. It's not like he is giving them stuff they aren't able to simply find themselves. And with the obsession level over things like that, there is no way they are "hiding" stuff they are putting on tape from opponents. Just sounds like teams are paranoid about stuff the other teams already know anyway.
  19. How anyone thinks working for that guy is a good career move I will never know.
  20. Bills have gotten back to converting 3rd downs at an extremely high level the last 5 games or so after really struggling the first half of the season. Definitely been noticeable. 3rd and longs happened more than normal because our run game couldn't get going.
  21. Interesting from ChiefsPlanet... They attribute this to copying what Harbaugh and the Chargers did to the Chiefs a few weeks before...have 2 DL on one side crash hard and bull rush forcing Mahomes to bail out of the pocket in the direction they want and then have a spy force immediate pressure on him since he is already on that side of the field he is flushing to... Also some comments about how Oliver completely manhandled Trey Smith all game and saying that they don't even see Chris Jones manhandle anyone the way Oliver did to Smith... https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=356009&page=3
  22. Former Vikings GM Rick Spielman and Ryan Wilson do a Franchise QB Draft and Spielman is drafting first and takes Josh Allen...his co-host agrees and said he would have taken Allen first also. Steve Smith breaks down how Khalil Shakir makes the Bills so dangerous and is a huge difference maker.
  23. It was awesome, but we have grown accustomed to them beating the Chiefs during the regular season...4th straight time. Now they need to do that in the post-season so we can get accustomed to it there too.
  24. How long ago was this filmed? They both thought Coleman and Kincaid would be playing...should have known at least Coleman was out and if it was a few days prior Kincaid also.
  25. He probably said something smart to Woody Johnson when Johnson was getting after him about the team I am guessing.
