  1. Ferguson is NOT a rookie. In his rookie year which was 2022, he had 19 catches for 174 yards. Way better than Kincaid huh? Try again.
  2. Yeah it's over us in Depew/Lancaster right now and it's "Angry Snow".
  3. And here is the latest model for Friday post Tues Night-Thursday lake snow event... Buffalo under the gun for 2+ feet again https://www.pivotalweather.com/model.php?m=gfs&p=snku_acc-imp&rh=2024011418&fh=111&r=us_ne&dpdt=&mc=bl
  4. NWS reports 27" in Angola as of 4pm but they weren't in the worst of it for as long as OP was so it's likely a little higher there I think. Here is NYS live Thruway cams...Hamburg would probably be the closest one. There are some others live cams that are around the stadium but I don't know how to get to them. https://www.thruway.ny.gov/travelers/map/text/twytextcameras.cgi?region=BUI90W
  5. Hahaha, hell no...I've been caught out in these a few times and it's downright scary.
  6. Good luck is all I will say. OP has at least 27-28 inches of snow so far. Not including drifts.
  7. For people who don't know or have never seen that before, that is literally hold your arm in front of your face and you can't see it level of snow. And that's with no wind. Told people we would have walkers to the stadium to help out.
  8. Never understood the love for that place. I worked in the Falls several years and ate their often a d found their sauce to be very bland with no seasoning. IMO, Michael's is much better
  9. Hearing a lot more chatter about the game getting pushed to Tuesday than would be expected if this wasn't something seriously being considered. OP is getting absolutely hammered right now.
  10. If he couldn't do it when they have loads of playmakers and speed everywhere on a rookie deal, how is he going to do it when they have to pay him $50 mil a year and lose a lot of talent on offense and expect him to make up the difference? Defending the Fins isn't hard. Sure they might have a few wrinkles but basically, defend the middle and seams, defend WR screens out wide, dont get drawn into the misdirection. Jam the WRs and throw off the timing. That's just about it. That's why when they play fundamentally sound defenses they struggle. They rely on the defense not being sound and taking their bait to function well. Not exactly a great place to be when you have to rely on other teams sucking to be effective.
  11. Yup, Wilson is right near Lake Ontario...way away from most of the snow in the area. Porter-on-the-Lake is another cool place in that area, as is Olcott(although a lot of Olcott is summer rental houses on the lake).
  12. Like I've always said, with the amount of money they take in there year after year, Niagara Falls should be one of the richest cities in the US. The state basically takes all the money and gives them a pittance. The Canadian Side is amazing...Clifton Hills is like a mini-Las Vegas Strip.
  13. 5" an hour means you literally could stretch out your arm and put your hand in front of your face outside and couldn't see it. You clearly don't understand how lake effect snow bands work. Imagine you have to drive 10 minutes away to pick up your friend. Except he lives in a Lake Snow band and you don't. He will have feet of snow on the ground and when you drive into the area you won't be able to see anything, maybe not even the road in front of you. Where you live will have a dusting of snow and the sun might even be out. That's how. It's not possible to overstate how drastic differences there can be. Back in 2014 when we had 7 feet of snow in South Buffalo and the surrounding Eastern Suburbs, North Buffalo had exactly ZERO inches of snow. At 5" an hour without any wind the only thing you would be able to see is a giant wall of white in front of you.
  14. Our pizza is definitely up there with anywhere. So many local places that are great. Depends what part of the Falls...in general the areas south of I-190(aka "The 190") and out towards Deveaux are pretty nice actually. The area actually by the Falls...hell yeah...that place is a straight Ghetto.
  15. I'd have to think that game gets moved to Monday if that is the case.
  16. Dude...I went to school in the Lou for 4 years. When I say you have no idea what you will be experiencing, that's the God's honest truth. Don't do it. Basically take the worst winter Storm you've ever seen and multiply it by 3.
  17. It's not genius when you have very little time to course correct in the NFL typically if you have no idea what type of relationship you'll have with a person or how your personalities will clash. It's kind of dumb honestly. There is a reason why coaches typically hire those they are familiar with. Too much is riding on the decision to leave that much to chance.
  18. Yeah I am so jealous of my kids...they had more snow days in pre-school then I did thru my entire schooling career from K-senior in HS. We got one day off over all that time and it was because the parking lots were still jammed with snow after a blizzard ended Sunday and there was nowhere to park for Monday.
  19. I would think the rapidly changing and potential uneven temperature of the ball would cause more issues than what they are trying to prevent.
  20. Always the way. They have no concept of what this even looks like. For most it would be the worst winter weather they ever faced and where they live it would go down as a "storm of the century" that people would be talking about for the next 100 years. Here, it's just a part of life and we respect Mother Nature, stay indoors and then clean up after. They won't fly into the main airport, likely the one in Niagara Falls which should be fine.
  21. Sounds like McD is likely not the one at fault with their tension...or at least it probably had something to do about the way Daniel acts. Likely Daboll tried that with McD and it didn't work too well. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/report-giants-brian-daboll-makes-144709843.html Mahomes admitted Eric Bienemy brought a missing accountability factor this year to the offense and he was as in your face as it gets.
  22. Likely going to sit over metro Buffalo and near Northtowns overnight and much of the day tomorrow. Oh, likely way more than that... ".LONG TERM /TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY/... The very active pattern will continue through the end of next week with multiple opportunities for accumulating snow including lake effect and synoptic snow. A mid level closed low will remain parked near Hudson Bay through the end of the week, a classic large scale signal for active weather in the Great Lakes with cold cyclonic flow. Tuesday night through Thursday another round of potentially heavy lake effect snow will impact areas east and northeast of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. This is a long ways out, so plenty of uncertainty with band placement and intensity, but the overall large scale pattern looks supportive of heavy lake effect snow which may target the Buffalo Metro area and Watertown areas."
