  1. Wind expected to get even calmer throughout the game, starting at 10 mph and ending at 7 mph by end of the game.
  2. Comfortable temps are a result of lack of wind. It's like 15 degrees outside, but without any wind chill it doesn't feel too bad.
  3. That would have been the "storm of the century" there and they would have been shut down for a week and been talking about it for the next 100 years. Here we just do what we do, stay off the roads and are good the next day. It's really amazing how few places get any sorts of winter weather like we do and how low their typical yearly snowfall totals are. At least anywhere with any sorts of population. I mean sure East Jahunga, Michigan gets hit pretty hard in the UP but not many live there. No place that has won back-to-back National Golden Snowglobe titles for most snow of any city in the US with a population of over 100K(including Alaska) can eve be considered soft. By definition you have to be some hard nosed SOB's to take the brunt of what Mother Nature gives you off the lakes in the winter and come back for more next year.
  4. Not really. Most things are matchup dependant so some things will work great against teams no matter when you play them and some things won't.
  5. The timing is off, the line doesn't do a good job "selling it" meaning defenders are typically all over the RB/TE and the ball ends up in the dirt usually. Even watching yesterday there were a lot of "dirted" screens. Sure Houston scored on one, but if you aren't good at them to begin with, why would you call a play that is likely to not work or get called for an illegal man downfield penalty? Bills throw WR screens at times and they have had some success with them, and used to have great success with tunnel screens especially to John Brown for a few years on the "Gold Rip/Whip" audible. Have also seen a few TE screens work, but usually they are RPO plays it seems like even tho they are near the LOS. Let' stop being silly, the Bills ran quite a few of these throughout the season and had some good success with them at times. If your definition of "working" means they are going to gain 10 yards+ every time they run the play or more that's just not realistic, no matter how good you are at them. Sure they have had some ones recently that haven't been great, but I can recall plenty of ones that picked up good yards or first downs earlier this year. Also used to be very good running tunnel screeens with John Brown when Allen would audible to "Gold Rip/Whip". Don't seem to run those too often anymore although I have seen a few times this year with varying results.
  6. I went to school in Saint Louis and we got some pretty chilly nights in the winter there where I would walk across campus to the gym in shorts. For whatever reason, legs don't seem to get the same type of cold as the upper body does. Perhaps due to not having organs there?
  7. They couldn't fit the whole song title on the helmets so they just shortened it.
  8. Yup, especially with there being a travel ban that was only lifted at 9am this morning for most places(1 pm for LackaVegas/Windmillwanna)
  9. Bandits won on Saturday night also...looking for another rare triple win weekend for Buffalo Sports!
  10. No, but the Cowboys do not typically do well with pressure.
  11. Maybe but when the pressure is on you can either rise to it or fold with it. They had all the pressure on them at home, GB had no pressure at all, they weren't even supposed to be there. They came out loose and free and the Cowboys came out tight and afraid of making a mistake. When GB scored to put them down 7-0, you could see them tighten up even more.
  12. Hey I go to the Regal at Quaker Crossing for Prime Premier night!
  13. Should have been driving hours ago so that he would have arrived near when the bans were gonna be lifted. Amateur. We'll learn him tho.
  14. Oh, yeah I guess that's a way...although after a few of them your hands will be nearing frostbite levels so I am not sure it's worth it.
  15. Were they really lesser? Love has been the best QB in football since week 10 or 12 I think throwing 18 TDs and only 1 INT during that time. We have seen over and over again it's about being hot at the right time...Dallas was fading mostly, GB was coming on.
  16. Way too cold for snowballs...it's loose powdery snow. Snow only forms good snowballs when it has a lot of moisture in it, probably has to be above 25 degrees for it. I mean someone could always add some liquid tho I guess. Beer balls?? Urine balls??
  17. They didn't just win they flat out embarrassed the Cowboys. What weather are you talking of? As of right now it's just cold. Barely any wind and no snow for the game.
  18. High...like an 8. Was just out snowblowing and there is almost no wind at all, at least where I am in Depew/Lancaster area. It's cold, like 11 degrees but no real wind. Will be similar to the Patriot game just a few degrees warmer. Shows winds start out at 10 mph at 4pm but drop to 7 mph by the end. That's about as perfect conditions as you are gonna get this time of year.
  19. No those are recently updated totals from this morning
  20. Latest snowfall reports: Hamburg the big winner so far with 41.3 inches. Blasdell which is right around the stadium got 36 inches, so right at 3 feet. Lancaster where I am got 31 inches, most of it overnight last night.
  21. Probably somewhere between 2.5-3 feet. Then it turned north and sat over us all night and we ended up with at least a foot and a half if not two feet in Depew/Lancaster. It was angry snowing last night
  22. It's hard to grasp that concept if you haven't experienced it. The only part that's annoying is after you explain it and they act like you are full of sh!t
  23. Snow should stay north of the stadium and only be a few inches. Now Tuesday night thru Thursday is a different animal as another Lake Effect Storm gears up and drops another 2+ feet on us.
