Belichick Told Kraft that Brady was Washed in 2019!
Big Turk replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Guess Brady showed what he could do when he was not having to carry replacement level offensive skill position talent in TB. -
So Mahomes can just throw to whoever Lewis is covering like Rudolph did on those two TD drives?

Agree...that's pretty wild after having to be carted off with a towel on his head. Seems a lot of players are playing even with high ankle sprains after only missing a week now. Used to be a 4-6 week timeframe with an average of 46 days. I know I read his might be a lower ankle sprain which would be better but still... Is something they are doing recovery wise helping players heal quicker?

So what is the snow situation for this week's game?
Big Turk replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
Weather looks pretty good for the game. Partly cloudy, game time temp around 20 degrees, winds 10-15 mph -
Kansas City at Buffalo in the Divisional Round!

Aren't the last two wins we had against the Chiefs in the regular season coming off bye weeks for the Bills? -
Douglas being back is huge if Benford is out...Jackson is a reliable if average player...Elam could be the wildcard. If he can continue his trend of playing well in big games, it could be huge for us.

Divisional Round, Chefs v. Bills - PREDICT THE SCORE
Big Turk replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills 26 Chiefs 24 Think the Bills D still does enough to limit a KC offense that just simply isn't up to par like it has been. Crowd noise on the road causes big issues for the Chiefs tackles and receivers who can't get the signals and have to do everything silently. -

Works a lot better with 3 inches of snow in the picture than 3 feet -
Wild Card Weekend - Wild Card Weather
Big Turk replied to WEATHER DOT COM's topic in The Stadium Wall
Firstly, you obviously don't live in this area, nor have much experience with actually dealing with large quantities of snow at once. Let's address these points. 1) Not a single person is going to be outside "snowblowing" with 50 mph winds during a whiteout. WTF are you talking about? It would be pointless since the snow would just blow right back at you. Not to mention that your eyes would be stinging from the snow blinding you. Even just in heavy lake bands without wind, the snow is falling so fast that by the time you clear a row and get to the end of that section it will look like you never even did anything. Even snowplows just give up at that point, because they can't keep up. It is far more efficient to clear one area after 3 feet of snow falling than to clear an area 3 times after one foot of snow falls. Clearing 3 feet is not 3x the effort as clearing 1 foot in practice. This is where theory doesn't hold in practice. Now if we are talking about 6 feet of snow? Then yes, clearing 3 feet twice is definitely more practical than trying to clear 6 feet at once due to limitations of snowblowers. But sure, go try it sometime and report back how that works for you. Probably will have to travel a while to find a suitable location to test it out tho I am betting. 2) Green Bay gets far less snow than Buffalo, not "just a few inches less". Buffalo averages 95+ inches a year(at the airport), Green Bay averages 51 inches. If we are talking where the Bills Stadium is in OP they get around 130-140 inches a year, which is nearly triple GB. OP has over 6 feet on the ground over the last week. Or about 20+ inches more than Green Bay gets in a typical year. Buffalo is 2 time defending winner of the National Golden Snowglobe Award, given to the the US city with the most snow and over 100K population. We also hold the record for most snowfall in a single season for a city of over 100K people with 199.4 inches. Which is basically 4 times what GB would get in a typical year. Know how many times GB has ever won this award? Exactly ZERO times. We are going for a three peat this year, but likely too far behind Anchorage to catch them. 3) The field isn't the issue that's easy to clean, it's the seats/rows. Exactly how do you plan to take a snowblower down rows of seats and stairs? This makes absolutely no sense. Why would you think a place that has almost triple the amount of snow as Green Bay wouldn't be far better at clearing it? -

It's not up to them, Erie County is the one handling that. -

Most of those games have come this year. -

That's not true. The Chargers were up 10-0 and lost to the Bills. -
Kansas City at Buffalo in the Divisional Round!

You have a habit of saying a bunch of crap and then not owning it after it is shown on the field to be false. If Lamar sucks again this week, you gonna run and hide again? -
Kansas City at Buffalo in the Divisional Round!
Big Turk replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
All I can base someone on is how they have played in previous situations that are similar to the ones they are currently playing in regarding the time of year. When he proves he can play at a high level in the playoffs, then I will accept it. Until then, he is the same Lamar as he always has been in the playoffs. One that shines during the regular season and plays at a below replacement level quality player in the playoffs. -
Made a big play last year in the Chiefs game picking off a Mahomes pass on the end zone Maybe later this afternoon?

What is your gut telling you right now?
Big Turk replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
My gut says the Bills figure out a way to get it done. What that is gonna look like with our D being held together by duct tape, I don't know...maybe similar to the Steelers game where we get a turnover or two early to get a lead and then weather the storm as we continue losing players. -
So what is the snow situation for this week's game?
Big Turk replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's fine...last day is today...we have gotten hammered again. Up to about 5 feet now in the Depew/Lancaster area between both storms, OP, West Seneca and Hamburg are all over 6 feet and likely approaching 7 soon. Still snowing here right now fairly heavily...that will be moving south and then again back north but weakening before petering itself out over the Niagara County late tonight. So much for the people who claimed the snowfall expectations never "live up to the hype". Been a long time since we got sizably less snowfall than what was predicted and plenty of times we got far more. -

I don't care whose offense it was with, he put up much better numbers all those years during the regular season. That might be valid if he sucked during the regular season too but he didn't. I mean, the best playoff performance he has had was his first one his rookie year with a 78.5 QB Rating. That's not gonna get it done. No but one is an individual performance and one is a team performance. Josh Allen has performed exceptionally well in the playoffs. He takes his game to the next level. Lamar takes his game from the penthouse to the basement. It's embarrassing to say the least for a soon to be 2 Time MVP during the regular season to perform like that when the stakes are highest. -
No, but the most likely predictor is what he has already shown. It's not like he was playing bad during the regular season in any of those years. All those seasons, his numbers were far better. The closest was his rookie year when his QB Rating in the regular season was 84.4 and playoffs was 78.5, only 5.9 points lower. in fact, the highest rated game he ever had was his rookie year in the playoffs. In 2019, he had a 113.3 QB Rating during the regular season and a 63.2 QB Rating in the playoffs, 50.1 points lower. In 2020, he had a 99.8 QB Rating during the regular season and a 68.1 QB Rating in the playoffs, 31.7 points lower. In 2023, he has a 102.7 QB Rating during the regular season and a ??? QB Rating during the playoffs. I'm guessing it's not higher than 85. When he shows he can play well in the playoffs, then maybe I will believe it. He hasn't. Not in ANY of his 4 appearances so far. When do you just call it like it is and stop thinking a playoff turd will turn into a diamond?
-
Lamar has been practice squad level in the playoffs. just downright abysmal. Stats in 4 playoff games? 4 Total TDs(3 passing, 1 rushing) 5 INTs(including at least 1 pick 6) 56% Completion Rate 68 QB Rating 19 sacks. If he put up those numbers during the regular season, he would be benched. As a likely 2 time MVP, those numbers are absolutely embarrassing and show when the stakes are highest, he folds like a cheap tent under the pressure.

Kansas City at Buffalo in the Divisional Round!
Big Turk replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wouldn't be surprised if it was this week. Lamar in the playoffs is the worst version of himself. A player that doesn't even put up replacement level QB numbers. -
Lamar's numbers in his 4 playoff games: 4 TDs 5 INTs 19 sacks 56% completion rate 68 QB Rating Those aren't even replacement level numbers. Certainly aren't franchise QB numbers. Maybe practice squad level QB numbers. IMO, Ravens have a good chance of being one and done and if they win, willing to bet it's more because of their defense than Lamar. When the stakes are highest, Lamar is at his worst.

Again...that's your misunderstanding. The ruling on the field was the ball was touched by a player while out of bounds. They didn't need to conclusively see that it touched someone's helmet, they needed to conclusively see that it DIDN'T touch someone's helmet to overturn it. Now, if it was ruled Bills ball and clean recovery, that also would have likely stood since it was inconclusive.

North downward...so like via the I-90 then south.
