If Purdy isn't playing the spread should be like -13. The other Allen is awful. -

Too early to even worry about that yet but with the Lake still at 52 degrees it would support a LOT of heavy snow similar to the 7+ foot events that happened twice in the past 8 years.... Lake is near historical high temps for this time of year not seen since 1931 and as warm as it was during those 7+ foot events that happened 2 weeks earlier in the month. -

Too early to know anything but early models are supporting potential for significant lake snows east and southeast of the lakes... Essentially think from Lancaster/Depew area thru the Southtowns and possibly Southern Tier. Will bear monitoring later in the week. And we match up well against theirs. -

Who cares. The Bills are simply a better team and McD's record off the bye is spotless. Bills will win by more than 1 score. -
Can't blame him, it's likely his last good contract. Hopefully they can reach some sort of middle ground where it makes sense for both parties.

Talk about desperate

There is no way CBS is giving up this game...they would protect it. So while it technically "could" happen it simply won't. The chance is effectively 0%.

Giants are releasing QB Daniel Jones (future backup to Josh Allen)

Guess he didn't do a great job of playing scout team safety. Bum. -
So basically the Bills draft a lot of players who regularly contribute to the success of this team. I would suspect the 2024 class would put the Bills back to #1 as I cannot imagine San Fran having players who are having a bigger impact than our draft class.

Likely has to do with those teams having to play each other and giving each other L's.

Yes, his Dad is Black and was a former MLB relief pitcher...although not a very good one, but had a pretty decent career for being a replcement level player. 42-39 W-L record with a career 5.47 ERA. Essentially he was the Fitzpatrick of Pitchers pitching for 6 different teams.

Nobody is laughing.

Yeah so was forcing people of color to go in the back door of restaurants if they were allowed in there at all and making them sit in the back of the bus. Having segregated schools, bathrooms and water fountains along with Jim Crow laws and many thinking they were "better than someone" based on the color of their skin. Sorry, as much as you may want to go back to those days, we are never going back. I'm sure many still believe in those things, they just have to live in a world where their hate, racism and bigotry no longer wins out and a world where they are now the minority.

Lowering the depth of the gutter shouldn't be viewed as cool because "it's not too far away" from the previous low.

1) Tone Deaf. It doesn't matter. 2) That's great. Many White people were enslaved too and there were Black slave owners as well, what's your point? 3) Are you trying to argue that type of stuff never happened? Regardless of how "fictional" the movie was in how it portrayed the overall topic it was covering, there are plenty of accounts historically to verify that what happened in the movie related to lynching is plenty factual.
-
I agree, it probably isn't. Probably some dumb kids that thought it was funny without thinking about it. But the point is, we don't KNOW that....and regardless, as a nation who still has a lot of work to do with race relations and in some ways has just covered up the issues better and pretend they don't exist now, it's just not a good look.

Go watch Mississippi Burning and let me know if you still think it's silly.

I have no idea. Neither do you. Trying to excuse this behavior away is so tone deaf I am going to assume you probably don't spend much time around non-white people.

Ranking Bills Coordinators (McDermott Era)
Big Turk replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen converts 3rd downs better than anyone in NFL history at almost 50%, so actually as we have seen over the last 5 years it IS a sustainable strategy. -
Allen isn't Black and for 200 years didn't face lynchings as a regular part of life. Think you probably should go read some history books to understand why it would be extremely offensive and seen that way by many. Or go watch Mississippi Burning.

Ranking Bills Coordinators (McDermott Era)
Big Turk replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's because most people don't understand that they use those to set up plays off that later in the game out of the exact same look. So while you may be frustrated for a bit, most people are not frustrated when the Bills get rolling downhill and score on every possession from mid 2nd quarter to the end of the game usually. In large part to showing something early and coming back to the same look but a different play out of it later. There is a reason why the Bills lead the NFL in 2nd half point differential.
