Wow...big upgrade from Davis...Bills going to be dangerous as hell next year offensively...add a WR in round 1 now...
It's a 3 year $24 million deal that could go up to $30 million with incentives...$15 million guaranteed...
Samuel is the definition of burner...he runs a 4.31 40, likely filling the John Brown role for the Bills that they have been missing.
So Harbaugh's first order of business is getting rid of all their good players not naked Justin Herbert?
Guess he is trying to buy himself max time by starting a rebuild.
But not the same QB as he was before. He was also 4 years younger than Cousins when it happened...
Stats took a nosedive after his first year back.

They still have Kirk Cousins, a 36 year old QB coming off an Achilles tear, so that doesn't make a big difference. Ask Dan Marino how QB's typically look after one of those...and he was a better QB than Cousins ever dreamt about being as a kid.
$3 mil or so when you factor the difference between their picks versus who they are displacing on the 51 man roster.
it's only $3 mil for picks when you factor in the difference between who they displace on the active 51 and their contracts.
Comp picks incoming!! Way more than what the Bills would have given...good deal for him...not sure if he is worth it but this might be a move to help get a winning "culture" in that locker room, just was never going to get that money from the Bills...
Surprisingly low for a player who was as important as he was to the Chiefs...thought he was their best player at times on D and he is in his prime at 26 years old. Especially after Patrick Queen got 3 years $41 million and he was a cut candidate until he got paired with Roquan Smith.
Bonus as he is no longer on the Chiefs.

Carolina trying to build up some weaponry for Bryce Young...
Steelers also getting pick 178 and giving up pick 240 to Carolina.

Umm...OK...you can't "bet" on a full season from anyone, but if you had to, he looks like a far safer bet than others on the roster who you probably "would" bet on.
Could end up being a sneaky good move for the Steelers. Russ is a big upgrade over Pickett, regardless of his last 2 years...threw 26 TDs and only 8 INTs last year and was benched in December.
Meh...then you gotta take on that cap hit and/or pay him soon.
It's his final year and his cap hit is $15.8 million this year. Likely will want an extension of $20+ million if he has a good year...
No thanks.
