  1. When the NFL rolls out its red-carpet event and hands Jackson his third MVP award, highlights from his 4,172-yard, 41-TD season will play. He is the most exhilarating player to watch in today’s game. Yet, the event will ring hollow again because it’s also true that in the most important game of the season, the opposition dared Jackson to beat them. The opposition actively chose for Lamar Jackson to decide the outcome. Which is not normal. Usually, a defense would want to schematically entice anybody but the MVP of the league to make plays on the field. Inside the winners’ locker room — their ticket to the AFC Championship Game punched — Bills players were frank: They wanted to put the ball in Lamar’s hands. Head coach Sean McDermott instructed the defense to sell out on Derrick Henry and the Ravens rushing attack to win first down and make Baltimore one-dimensional. “When he starts throwing it, obviously he’s capable of doing it,” defensive end A.J. Epenesa said. “He can extend plays, do all that good stuff. But that’s the mode we really wanted to get him in. Make him win the game by himself. Throw it to his targets. And I think our guys on the back end, they make it hard, too.” https://www.golongtd.com/p/on-to-arrowhead-buffalo-bills-prove
  2. And it wasn't even a penalty on the Dawkins hold who essentially got penalized for his technique being too good. Should have been a goose egg. As Belichick always told his teams on their first day of meetings: "Before we can figure out how to win games, we have to first figure out how not to lose them. Most games are lost, not won."
  3. Not many teams have the talent to completely shut down Baltimore's offense.
  4. Lindenbaum was getting absolutely dominated almost all game long. You know it's bad when you get pushed back into your QB and trip him on a handoff.
  5. This team is an amoeba. It can play any style fo game you want to play and win on offense. Ball control with short passes? Sure. Air it out and let Allen go off? Sure. Somewhere in between? Sure.
  6. It's working because the Bills OLine is dominating in the run game... Bronco's #1 run D and Raven's #2 run D got dominated.
  7. It's at least 3 or 4 I think actually...
  8. They kept trying to draw them too after the plays were over with their flops which I found kinda hilarious.
  9. We played KC/Patriot ball. Short, high percentage plays to prevent getting behind the sticks and being put in positions where you have to try and force things. And just keep doing it over and over and over. Keep converting 3rd and shorts, keep the chains moving, get the ball out of Allen's hands quickly.
  10. Jayden Daniels made VR training a requirement for any team drafting him and he used 1.75x speed to train his brain to be faster than what was happening during the actual games... Brilliant use of technology and something I would not be surprised to see other teams follow, perhaps even with vet QBs...

  11. I feel like the Bills can beat anyone and it's going to go down to the end like it usually does with these teams. Bills dominated the #1 run D against Denver and the #2 run D against Baltimore. We made our own bounces.
  12. Names that we heard all the time in the first game... Van Noy, Owen, Madabuike were very quiet yesterday. Not sure I heard the names called at all. That's a credit to the Bills OLine... Bills punched them in the mouth and just kept punching.
  13. Game plan specific. We did what we needed to do to win the game.
  14. The Bills once again make NFL history by becoming the first team to ever have 12 games in any full season with no turnovers in them. They also had their 4th consecutive playoff game with no turnovers, the longest streak in NFL history. Let's extend that to 13 and 5 next week.
  15. Love our RB room as a whole...all of them add something and complement each other so well.
  16. The goal is to score one more point than the other team by the end of the game. However they need to do it, that's how it needs to happen.
  17. Yes, but those 3 plays were far more important in terms of deciding who was going to win and lose than the other 117 plays were.
  18. Someone tweeted after the game it must have been really hard to get that ball and he tweeted back that he played shortstop since he was 6 years old and it was easy work like fielding a short hop 😂😂
  19. Try it twice...if the first one doesn't get it you are inside the one for the second one. It brought back memories of the Lions game earlier where we were in perfect position for it but inexplicably tried something else
  20. Teams that don't make mistakes and capitalize on other teams mistakes usually win these games. Yardage can get wonky with other teams playing catch up.
  21. The Bills have realized that you don't need splash plays to win in the playoffs as much as you need clean football and not beating yourself with dumb plays.
  22. Josh Allen is about as clutch a player as you can ask for in that situation. He would have gotten it done. But I'm glad he never had to.
  23. The Bills punched them in the mouth in the first half. They thought they would come in and out physical us but they got dominated on both sides of the line of scrimmage.
