  1. No thanks...he has been injured far too often the last 2 years, and at times, had some questions about just how injured he actually was.
  2. I agree that Cook probably views himself like that because his argument would be "You don't ask me to do it!" in regards to pass pro, and the Bills argument is "That's because we CAN'T!". I mean, imagine a key situation on 3rd down where he is in the game and Allen has to audible into a call that forces Cook to stay in and block due to the defense sending extra guys or the look they are in...the play gets blown up due to Cook whiffing on a block. Essentially he cannot be on the field on 3rd down because even tho he isn't asked to do it often, when you have to do it, you have to be able to do it well, not look like you are waving a cape in front of the bull like Ole! Also, if he would be on the field on 3rd down, I would expect the Bills face more designed calls to get pressure directed at Cook and take advantage of his lack of ability as a blocker...teams are not stupid...they look to exploit the weak link and he would, by far, be the weak link in that situation. That's the downside to his argument. Just because he isn't asked to, doesn't mean he shouldn't work at getting better at it, especially because if he is trying to force his way out of here, he will likely be going to a team that asks him to do it a lot more and expects that from him.
  3. Sounds like you don't pay attention during the games much
  4. I just stream anything I want to watch online. Great feeds, watch 3-4 extra games on Sunday that way while having the main 1pm and 4pm games on.
  5. situational 3-4 sack guy, maybe 5 sacks tops. Likely looks great against bad teams and invisible against good ones.
  6. that's my point...he is limited to a 2 down back because his pass pro is abysmal, often times getting Allen nearly killed by whiffing on blocks. If he wants to be "worth" that money then he should have spent the off-season working on this not crying about money. Having a massive hole in your game for an RB that limits his ability to be a 3 down back is one of the best ways to ensure you don't get a big contract.
  7. Ironically the closest it's ever come to happening was during a Bills game
  8. It's hard when Cook is a liability in pass pro which means he essentially can't be on the field on 3rd downs... Hard to commit that kind of money to a 2 down back no matter how good he is
  9. Fred Jackson...he reminded me of Thurman so much with the way he would run as if he had eyes in the back of his head and always knew the right angle to take so a chasing player couldn't get him. If the Bills stopped trying to to replace him every year and just let him play, he would have been a 10K yard back for them.
  10. Who cares, both teams suck.
  11. It simply delays the inevitable and puts them another year further out from potentially becoming great again because it's never going to happen until they find their next Roethlesberger.
  12. It's crazy how some teams just won't admit when they need to go into rebuild mode. Steelers are going nowhere until they accept reality.
  13. Having insurance isn't the same as having State Farm. It's like getting the protection of Bateman when you need Batman. Maybe he should go do a podcast or something.
  14. If he can stay healthy, that will be a bargain based on his improvements last year.
  15. I could care less. Just show up and perform during the season. Less time doing drills means less chance of getting injured.
  16. Guessing Diggs didn't make the cut...
  17. What...I thought Veruca Salt went down the garbage chute with her parents after being pushed by squirrels? How did she get out??
  18. Because he the next person will have a track record of doing exactly jack sh!t for the NFL. Goodell essentially turned the NFL into an unstoppable juggernaut that has taken over America 365 days a year and is responsible for at least 75 of the 100 most watched TV shows of the year in any given year. The only thing the new commissioner could do is take a step backwards, the NFL already is far and away the richest sports league in the world and generates almost double the amount of revenue of the next highest one(MLB or NBA depending on the year as they seem to go back and forth). When Goodell took over the NFL generated 7.8 billion in revenue. Now it does almost triple that. Why would he take less? Because no NFL owner in their right mind is paying some random dude that hasn't proven anything the same as the most successful commissioner in the history of sports.
  19. I was at that game...Bills were kicking the Chiefs ass that day and rolled up almost 500 yards of offense... About to take a 17-3 lead on opening possession of the second half from the Chief 1 yard line and he throws a mind numbing 100 yards pick 6. Game tied at 10-10 instead and that was pretty much it.
  20. Draft pick contracts nowadays are almost always a formality that at most is held up over minor things like offset language...dollar amounts are already set in stone
  21. You don't take juice to get fat, you simply eat from the second you get up in the morning until you go to bed at night. Many offensive lineman have talked about how hard it was to pack in that much food during a day and how one of the best things after retiring is that they only have to eat when hungry.
  22. I'm good with that...don't need him in the preseason...we need him in the playoffs
  23. Nope, unless a link takes me therr
