  1. I just want him to climb up on Rousseau's back and jump off like it's the top turnbuckle dropping the People's Elbow on Mahomes.
  2. Guess they couldn't sign Ann of Green Gables, so he is the next best option
  3. yeah...had to have a Gabe on the team.
  4. Something like 75 of the top 100 viewed shows in the US in a given year are NFL football games. Think about that for a minute. Out of every other show on TV over the course of a year, only 25 are not some form of NFL football game. That includes all the once a year major award shows, other sporting events, the Kentucky Derby, popular major shows on Primetime Network TV, etc. Literally a random week 7 NFL game outdraws the most popular TV award show that comes on once a year. It's insane... Why would they pay for someone who is getting 300+ million viewers to watch them live that they couldn't buy for any amount of money? If anything , the NFL should have them paying THEM to perform there.
  5. Businesses have been coming here...there is a reason why Buffalo is the hottest housing market of 2024 according to Zillow...and it's not because jobs are leaving anymore. My house value is up close to 40K since the start of this year alone of based on comparable home sales nearby. The gloom and doom era is over...the future is increasingly bright for WNY. Funnily enough, the only people who can't see it are the ones living here or the ones from here that moved away. Zillow’s list of the hottest markets in 2024 is based on an analysis of forecast home value growth, recent housing market velocity and projected changes in the labor market, home construction activity and number of homeowner households. [1] Vaulting Buffalo to the top of the list are recent increases in the number of jobs created compared to the number of new homes construction projects being approved, as well as expectations for steady home values. https://www.zillow.com/research/2024-hottest-market-33566
  6. Well like $450 million is coming directly from the Seneca Niagara Casinos that the state finally collected on after all those years.
  7. It has been in motion for quite sometime and it appears they will not only meet their goal but likely surpass it thanks to a new Netflix deal being worked on along with some other things in the pipeline. Kinda crazy how the NFL basically prints money. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/nfl-wants-25-billion-revenues-110229707.html
  8. Let's wait til we see him in the regular season in like week 8 until this nonsense starts.
  9. I mean these are pretty much all ironed out as soon as you are drafted, the contracts are all set up. Most of the negotiations revolve around offset language. Basically the contract is a forgone conclusion. Effectively, everyone knew his contract 1 second after his name was announced at the podium.
  10. I've pretty much said the same thing...it's going to be a pick your poison setup for the D. You want to take the deep balls away. Cool we will attack you underneath with Samuel, Shakir and Kincaid with some Cook sprinkled in. You want to take the short stuff away? Cool, Allen will just play backyard ball and throw it over your head when your defenders look silly trying to get him in the backfield. You want to try and shut down the middle of the field? Cool, we will just run sweeps and throw to the outside. You want to try and come after Allen? Cool, we will just run draws up the middle with Cook and throw quick hitters to the WR's outside. Anything you want to do, we can do what you can't defend. This offense is going to be extremely fun to watch IMO. They have completely diversified the skillsets on it.
  11. But at least it will be a night game... And with Miami already setting heat records in May and having more hours already this month with heat indexes over 108 then they have in any other YEAR total outside of last year which was the hottest on record there. With summer having not even started, it's likely to be another brutal first month and a half down there to play in.
  12. Actually like 16.5K per game during the regular season and 18K for the playoffs. Albany was good this year but they have sucked mostly the years prior.
  13. Can easily go online and stream the games...vast assortment of places you can find and the quality is very good. I tend to set up 2 other games while watching the Bills on TV on my laptop and phone...typically the Fins game and a game of interest to me.
  14. By far my favorite live sporting event I've ever attended and it's not really even close and I've been to them multiple times as well as plenty of Bills, Sabres, various MLB games, MLS games, etc.
  15. Huh? You have to be looking really hard to try and see abs there.
  16. Most time QBs in their 2nd season find it isn't as easy as it was in their rookie year when DC's have the entire offseason to prepare and watch a full year's worth of NFL games to pick apart every flaw you have and devise gameplans against them.
  17. Nobody knows who is going to actually be good this year and who will take a step back...worrying about the schedule at this time of the year is pointless but every year people waste their time doing it.
  18. Exactly what is there to break down? Everyone sees the games. Nobody knows how good the teams will be at this point of the year or who will be injured for either team when the game is played. Making this commentary mostly meaningless.
  19. Dude, who cares? RBs don't get 2nd contracts. 4 years and you draft another one. Are you still stuck in the 70s?
  20. 5 primetime games and another national TV broadcast against the Chiefs... And 2 other 4:05/4:25 games... Plus potential flexes... The mostly 1pm schedule remains elusive.
  21. He runs a 4.42, he isn't slow. Who cares about game 1? The Bills are notoriously slow at bringing rookies along. I'm more interested how things are progressing around week 7 or 8.
  22. You won't say that after the first game you watch him play I'll bet.
  23. That was Andre Reed-esque moves in the open field by Shakir... knowing where people are behind you and making the right moves to give them bad angles and then changing it up last second in the other direction...
  24. Agree, but in THIS particular game, at least there was a reason for it.
