Canisius HS has the best player in New York state

Some other notables: JC Tretter (C/Batavia) who served as the player president of the NFLPA and then as the Chief Strategy Officer. Played in the NFL for 8 years. He resigned amid allegations he buried results from injury reports and concussion data although he denied it. Corey Graham(DB/Buffalo) who won 2 SBs with Baltimore and Philadelphia. Went to Turner/Carroll HS which is now closed. Jim Dombrowski (G/Williamsville) who is the highest drafted WNY player ever, taken 6th by the Saints in 1986. Played 11 years and is in the College Football HOF as well as the Saints HOF. Brett Kern(P/Grand Island) 3x Pro Bowl punter mostly for the Titans. Shane Conlan(LB/Carroll) is from Carroll, NY in Chataqua County and played for Frewsburg HS. Had no idea he was a local product. James "Boobie" Starks(RB/NF) played for the Packers and won a Super Bowl -

Also both Nick Sirianni and Roger Goodell who hail from Jamestown. I wonder what the odds are that 2 of the major players in the NFL including the commissioner and Super Bowl winning coach are from the same small town in WNY? Has to be astronomical. -
I carry that torch as well and have posted the studies showing they don't exist...probably could find them, it was a while back.

Bills don't "need" a WR, they need to use the ones they have better

And he still does since the Bills lead the NFL in explosive plays this year. -
Mark Sanchez Released from Fox -> Drew Brees is the new Replacement

Most people don't know that he actually broke his nose on this play 🤣🤣 Mental illness? CTE from being concussed by his O-Lineman's butt? -

I mean they average more points against KC in the playoffs than during the regular season. The issue as always is the D allows an average of 14 more points to KC in the playoffs. There is no way there should be that consistently large of a difference ove this many games between the two. It's inexplicable. -

He caught 2. The first was a play-action bomb down field on the first play for the Bills for like 40 yards and the second was a deep over for 20 yards. That was the play he got hurt on early 2nd quarter. If he stayed healthy likely would have had a 100+ yard game. I always liked Palmer in San Diego and he was often targeted deep and often was wide open. I don't need him running 40 yards down field, I just think the Bills should target him right in the 20-25 yard range more often like the ball he caught in the Chiefs game. He was wide open there again on one of Allen's short incompletions to Hawes earlier in the game. I have a feeling if we go back and look he likely has been open a bunch of times on those plays over the season. -

I mean I am equally excited to watch this team move the ball with ruthless efficiency and just pile up points. I don't care how they do it, just do it. I mean, Allen seems to be at his best now when we can comfortably sit back and watch him pick apart defenses and have almost zero concern about a turnover happening. And score more points than any of those teams ever did. -

As a Joe's boy, I still have a hard time rooting for our arch-nemesis, but I will say "Good Day, Sir!" -

And a 2x SB Champ and 2x Pro-Bowler in Daryl "Moose" Johnston who was a Lew-Port Product. -
That would be perfect because Big Game Gabe is a thing. As long as he can get ready for the playoffs, I'll take it. And hopefully we get to hear Nantz at least one more time "It is DAAAA-VISSSSSS!!"

Would you rather playoff seeding scenario?
Big Turk replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Easily 5 seed...our defense against anyone other than Reid in the playoffs is a giant win. They might actually play well, like they have done in other games. -
Unfortunately, as I will say every time someone brings this nonsense up, trap games DO NOT EXIST. Statistically disproven every single way you could ever disprove something statistically.

I'd be surprised if it was within 2 scores even with those 2 out. McD is calling the defense now and he wrote the book on how to make the Fins look like crap offensively.

Wondering if they are doing a bit of load management with him and planning to unleash him fully down the stretch and into the playoffs? -

Damn I wasn't aware the snaps were that close... -
Crazy that you have to worry about heat and have the Cool Zones set up in November...

Right, because he is still TE1 that plays in-line and will be in there in single TE formations with Kincaid more as the split TE that gets moved all over like a chess piece and also if they bring Hawes in to block as the 2nd TE on a play. He basically gets snaps in all situations while the others usually get them more situationally. -

I have so many issues with what they did that game. Essentially Allen refused to take layups that were there all game, kept trying to force things downfield, bailed from clean pockets instead of waiting an extra half second to see things coming wide open downfield, was throwing off platform and with bad footwork all game long and refused to use his legs to take easy yards when there was wide open green grass in front of him. Essentially if you listed everything we could do to screw ourselves over, we did it in that game and the next game. I don't know what it is, but I've just accepted at this point that we are going to have 2 games in mid October every year where we look nothing like the team we are the rest of the year, the offense will be bad and then we will course correct. Not sure what else to think because it's happened 5 straight years. -

Once Carr got hurt that pretty much reduced his effectiveness to near nothing. -

I guess the Bills see his value in the versatility it gives their offense to do anything they want. With 1 TE on the field they are 8th in passing efficiency, with 2 TE's they are 3rd and with 3 TE's they are 1st. A large part of our success is having 3 TE's that have dual capabilities so that even in run heavy formations we can actually come out and be successful passing because we have created mismatches with the defense having to bring in bigger, slower, less athletic players to stop the run. Now, I am not saying that to defend his contract, it's still absurd, but at least that gets to why they are OK with it right now. Also, is it not strange that the Bills existed for so long without even a single good TE on the roster and now they have 3 of them?
