  1. I've been thinking of getting one of those for a while...I always end up with snow plastered to my whole body and getting it in the face at some point depending on what direction I turn the thrower
  2. Uh...yeah, do you think it just somehow disappears?? https://twitter.com/BuffaloBills/status/1593756187794735104?s=20&t=BrOl1wFneFvL0WTwO7TMow
  3. Not for the runways...I meant the areas that need to be done manually by hand
  4. It was a Lake Effect Snow Event, not a blizzard to start with... It wouldn't effect the actual snow totals, that gets measured by instruments. It would however effect the snow depth, as snow that falls at first melted instead of sticking.
  5. Wait what!?! Was that Petey from Remember The Titans tossing pizza dough in the T Mobile commercial??
  6. Think it's bad here? A Buffalo sized city in Japan called Aomori City gets an average of 312 inches of snow a year due to "ocean effect" snow and the mountains creating more lift which then dumps it once it crosses them. To put this in perspective, it's about 3.5 times what Buffalo gets a year. Another city there, Saporro, Japan has a population of over 2 million and gets 191 inches a year on average...about double what Buffalo does. Same reason, "ocean effect" snow...snow depth there last February was over 52 inches! https://www.insider.com/photos-life-aomori-japan-the-snowiest-city-in-the-world-2018-12 Crazy to think as bad as it is here, it could be a lot worse. It's a monster sized snowblower and has a giant plastic hood that extends around your body and over your head that's only open in the back. Prevents you from getting snow blown in your face and/or wind from hitting your face. 7. Go whoever is playing the Bucks... I know Stef gotta be puffing his chest out right now as his Terps have a 13-10 leas at the half...
  8. I went to college in Saint Louis and it got pretty cold during the winter there at times(mid 20s a lot). It was a good 15 minute walk from my dorm to the gym and I used to wear shorts most of the time even in winter... When I got done working out I would be so hot and sweaty that I would walk back without my coat on and it would feel great. Outside of that tho, I would be wearing a coat and pants...
  9. They have been...they said he isn't ready to play. That covers a lot of things. He is fully practicing so it's either that he isn't where he wants to be from a physical standpoint and is getting smoked in practice or it's a mental thing where he doesn't think it feels "right".
  10. How are the people claiming we were only getting a foot or two earlier feeling right about now? 🤣 It was pretty obvious from the NWS way early watch issued, the very strong wording used in it and conditions that were expected to be very similar to 2014 this was not going to be some run of the mill storm.
  11. Starting Brown's CB Gregory Newsome is OUT for tomorrow's game after suffering a likely consussion in practice yesterday...should be something we can take advantage of.
  12. Maybe he has been eating too many Rocky Mountain Oysters after his teammates told him they would help him out and make him more "dangerous"
  13. Pretty much...watched the dude across the street go snowblow out 3 elderly neighbors and get some fresh baked cookies for his efforts...not a bad trade haha... So jealous of his snowblower...he has one of those giant ones they use at the airport with the 3 sided plastic hood you stand inside of.
  14. Schefter claiming 56K tickets sold to the game in under 48 hours, mostly to Bills Mafia... https://mobile.twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1594074134908059648
  15. Well...could be, could not be. There are times we get huge early snowfalls and then don't see much the rest of the season. It's unlikely tho. Besides we need to defend our National Golden Snow Globe title. Eked out the win over Anchorage last year for our 2nd title in 3 years. OP likely destroyed the all time NYS snowfall record for a 24 hour period of 50 inches set in Camden in 1966. Still unofficial, but they measured 59 inches in OP.
  16. There is a lot of precedent for when these crazy weather events happening the team goes and crushes the opponent. During October Storm, Sabres went to Detroit, won in a shootout and then came back home to drub the New York Rangers with much of the area listening on their battery powered radios since there was no power in many places... Snowvember Part I the Bills go to Detroit and absolutely destroy the Jets coached by Sexy Rexy. Snowvember Part II??
  17. Schefter tweeeted over an hour ago that everyone made it safely to the Training Center they were departing from and were preparing to leave from the airport. https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1594041622844637186?s=20&t=LMxfnJwZYG23Irh5ZfOdxg
  18. Big loss...he was a good player.
  19. I can relate...not even from an athlete standpoint... I had hip replacement surgery and while the rehab was way easier and faster than for an ACL, I too found myself in a dark place at times. Can only imagine when you have your entire career flash in front of you and you have to deal with all the mental what if's he is playing while he has all that time alone.
  20. Are you assuming anyone else can get to them *in the timeframe they are working with* so they don't have to?
  21. Not really when you hear Hyde talk about how it was an ongoing issue and it just basically was going to happen eventually.
  22. Not enough time to necessarily wait for someone to come bail you out. In normal circumstances yes but this is a pressing time issue and there are only but so many hours in a day. And FYI, you never had 5-6 feet of snow no matter how you want to claim you remember it. The only occurences of that have been in the last 8 years. In Snowvember I 8 years ago I literally came in after the second day out there and sat downs ND didn't move for hours I was so drained.
