NFL Week # 11 - Browns at Bills (Detroit) - Post game thread
Big Turk replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's mind boggling. Apparently every other team in the NFL plays their best game every week, never has any struggles at all during the year and all their players play great. Guess nobody bothered to watch the Chargers game against the 49ers last week where Herbert was 21-35 for 196 with 1 TD and 1 INT. They scored 16 points. The problem on this board is too many people only watch the Bills and have no idea what actually goes on in the rest of the NFL. We have been spoiled for so many years now, we are forgetting what most of the NFL goes through. Hint...most teams would KILL to have the type of game the Bills had today. -
Like the game against the Bills?

JESTS Radio and message boards having a melt down

OK...so they would have won 6-3 versus 10-3? -
Mahomes is 11/22 in the game...guess he has regressed and we need to figure out what's wrong with him.

They scored 31 points on 7 consecutive drives. Probably a LOT of teams that would love to struggle like that. I don't care about the past month. Historically this is the time a lot of good teams slump. This isn't anything new. It almost never has any effect on them long term. Learn football history. Stop making a huge deal out of things that are historically blips on the radar of a season.

It's not unrealistic at all. They shouldn't have lost any of the games they did. 3 losses by a combined 8 points. They are fully capable of winning every game they play and will be favored in all of them. Overrreatcing to midseason malaises and acting like that is what will continue the rest of the year means you either have watched very little football in years past when previous SB winning teams had the same issues at the same time of the year or you have a bad memory. Or both. Stop acting like every other team plays their best game every single week. It's ridiculous and makes you look foolish.

Chiefs have 13 points. You tell me. Wonder what you would have thought watching the Ravens 13-3 win over the lowly Panthers or the 10-3 barnburner between the Pats and Jets that featued a Punt Return TD with 5 seconds left in the game as the only TD. Get a grip

Haha...comical if you are think that is what shyte looks like in the NFL. Go watch more games. Like go back and watch every game of the season and you'll come away with a very very different opinion. Just shows you watch very very little football outside of our games.

We would hand Miami an L.

No...no..that can't be. They are perfect for what everyone says on these boards. Only the Bills play poorly.

Tennessee wasn't likely to be 7-3 after "current trends" when they got slapped by us to go to 0-2 either. Point is "current trends" change all the time in the NFL.

Luckily that won't continue.

I think it's clear that Zach Wilson is a bust
Big Turk replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wow...Wilson won't even take accountability for it...when asked if the offense let the defense down today he said "No ". Then made excuses for his poor game and poor throws by saying "It was windy as hell out there." I'm sure those dudes on D really want to hear that from him... https://www.yahoo.com/sports/zach-wilsons-lack-accountability-jets-012844004.html -

Yeah it's pretty funny...7 consecutive scoring drives but it's not good enough. -
I mean he isn't wrong. Milano is everywhere on D.

Guess our issues stopping the run might have been overblown? After what they dealt with all week the result was all that mattered -
Shout out to McDermott from a skeptic

Notice the first thing he did there? He listened. He made sure Stef felt like he was being heard. Seems small but you see it go the other way all too often. Didn't get upset, didn't get mad at Stef...he knows it's coming from the right place with him.- 45 replies

The Bills were really good on those usually up until this year when the rookies and injuries caught up to the secondary. Pass D has been not great and definitely not up to the #1 in the NFL standard it set for the last 5 years. 3 All Pros being out for large chunks of the season makes a big difference

I'm not a fan of how the D seemingly let's teams back into games either but I think they will figure it out. It's very out of character to allow this type of yardage to opponents by our pass D. Allen LOVES playing on Thanksgiving. -

Go watch highlights from the Leodis McKelvin fumble game to refresh your memory -

Yeah because they never ever barely squeaked out wins against the Bills right? They always steamrolled us right? Guess selective memory must be a great thing. Have people been out breathing in too much snowblower exhaust fumes this weekend or something? -

I think these fans need to realize that during every season there are going to be ups and downs and not to overreact to them. That's the issue I have...drastic overreactions. Allen is not going to suddenly turn back into the 2017 version of himself. It's a long season, lots of things happen during it. Not all of it is going to the be Bills steamrolling teams. Not all of it is going to the Bills playing their best. This is also the time many good teams struggle during the year...the middle part. It isn't as unusual as people want to make it out to be. Things are figured out, things are taken away, good teams figure it out like the Bills did last year. They'll be fine. They aren't imploding. They aren't missing the playoffs. They will get better as the games matter more. It's honestly amazing the amount of people calling for Dorsey's head as we lead the NFL in offense and are 2nd in scoring. Could you imagine what other teams fans must think if they read these boards?
