  1. Somewhat but that doesn't explain all of it. There are very few routes this year that I have seen that feature receivers at a dead stop or turned and facing Allen on curl routes where they are basically hit immediately after catching the ball. Seem to be a lot more routes where the receivers are moving and Allen can hit them in stride.
  2. Allen has been pressured at the second lowest rate in the NFL at 12.3%, second only to the Bucs 12.1% and lead the NFL in explosive plays with 20 20+ yard passes and 6 40+ yard passes. Additionally, Allen has only been sacked 8 times all year with a sack percentage of 3.7%, 7th lowest in the NFL. The pass protection by definition CANNOT be bad. Run blocking...that's another story. But Pass Pro, has been very good.
  3. I think she may have been getting there but once she asked him what sport he would play if it wasn't football and he answered a UFC Fighter, she backed off.
  4. Damn BBB, can we at least get a little head bob or something?? Dude out there looking like Agent Smith from the Matrix.
  5. OK, I can give him some props on this one...he said that he doesn't know WTF other places are doing with their bleu cheese but that Buffalo does it right and it's really good here! Cookies and Cream milkshake is his favorite dessert...oh Roger...I promise you once you have a Cotton Candy milkshake you'll never go back! Funniest Guy: Josh without hesitation Most serious guy: Mitch Morse...that has to be some interesting huddles with those two personalities
  6. Looks like great injury news possibly for the Bills...seems like Taiwan Jones and Jake Kumerow are the only two players who are not practicing in some capacity. McKenzie has been cleared from Concussion protocol.
  7. You hear about people who end up dying from stuff like this when they hi their head on the ground and end up in a coma and have to be pulled off life support. People think it's a joke but shoving some dude carrying equipment without any real way of protecting himself is a great way to cause something like that. Gotta be responsible for your actions.
  8. I don't agree with this. I can post numerous examples of Allen doing the "Gold Rip/Whip" audible at the line when John Brown was here which was basically a step back screen that usually resulted in long yardage...I remember specifically at least 2 examples...one on which he scored against the Fins from like 30 yards out and another maybe 40 yard one where he got tackled inside the 5. I know it happened fairly frequently because I was always yelling at them to change the audible because you'd hear "Gold Rip" from Allen and sure enough it always was a screen...happened a LOT during the COVID year where there was no fan noise and you could hear things very clearly in terms of audibles and LOS calls. Also, the TD to Diggs in the Baltimore playoff game was a 4 or 5 yard screen pass.
  9. I do too, but if Hamlin keeps playing the way he is and they think Hyde will be fine, I could see them reluctantly moving on due to cap reasons.
  10. Why do I get the feeling the Bills are going to try to absolutely bludgeon KC into submission this game?
  11. They run it more than you think...sometimes they even run man with Tre and then zone everything else.
  12. @Simon can we get this post stickied? Very valuable info at a glance as long as it's kept updated and I doubt this will get enough replies on a regular basis to stay on the front page Would be a shame for something like this to end up buried on the 20th page in a few weeks.
  13. The Bills pass D actually has given up fewer yards without him than they were with him which is astounding. But I don't think that paints a totally accurate picture. He allows them to match up man and basically erase a WR virtually anytime they want to and allows much more flexibility to run various coverages and disguises than they can run without him.
  14. Smart...get him out there practicing for a few days before the bye, see how he does, give him some more time to rest up and then full practice after the bye
  15. Bills have been pressured on pass attempts at the 2nd lowest rate in the NFL at only 12.3%. Only TB and Brady are lower at 12.1%. KC is allowing the 9th highest pressure rate in the league at more than double ours, nearly 26%. Allen also making quick decisions and getting rid of the ball in only 2.3 seconds, 7th fastest time in the NFL.
  16. Bills got 207 YAC yards in that game according to Pro-Football-Reference advanced receiving metrics. It was actually 26.5% of our total YAC yards, but since we have only played 5 games, that isn't really outside of what I would consider normal variance. If all 5 games were equal, it would be exactly 20%. It has helped for sure, but that doesn't explain all of it. Diggs leads the Bills in YAC yards, Motor is 2nd. RB YAC yards only accounts for 207 of the total, and that includes Gilliam and Cook when they were lined up as WR's in the Miami game in the 4th quarter. The majority has come from our WR's.
  17. That's what I said...Allen needs to stop ruining these guys YAC numbers by throwing the ball in the air so damn far! 🤣
  18. Only behind the Packers, Chargers and Eagles, and the difference isn't much...only 28 yards from 1st place. Also massive improvement in YAC/Completion. Bills were dead last at 4.2 YAC/Completion last year and now are 11th at 5.3 YAC/completion. Even more impressive because the Bills are 5th highest in Completed Air Yards/Completion at 4.6 which was up from 4.1 last year. Dorsey has added some new wrinkles to the offense allowing the Bills receivers to run after they catch the ball much more effectively. Stefon Diggs is tied for 11th in YAC yards with 173, leading the Bills. Surprisingly Davis only has 88 YAC yards. Allen needs to get it together and stop throwing the ball so far causing the Bills receivers to lose YAC due to having less yards to run. 🤣 EDIT: Important to note there is some disparity in YAC yards between NBC stats and other sites...Bills are ranked 7th(still good) at Pro-Football-Reference with 721 yards.
  19. He must have ben feeling it that day...he did the same thing on the Davis TD starting while on the ground before Davis scored
  20. Holy Crap! Look at how high Allen is of the ground on that jump in the Diggs TD video! We need to see some box jump videos of him this offseason!
  21. Tua reportedly will begin throwing today...does not specify if he will start Sunday but it's unlikely as the timeline to progress through the protocol is too lengthy https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/10/12/report-tua-tagovailoa-to-throw-in-wednesday-return-to-field/
