  1. Bills attacking the edges...I think they found something...they have been very good on those runs all year, up until the Steelers game tho, they just didn't do much of it...kept trying to run up the middle. I am willing to bet the KC game featured a lot more pin and pull type blocking than zone blocking.
  2. I know they don't always work out but I LOVE McDermott putting his fate in the hands of Josh Allen when it's easier to kick the FG. I don't think we realize how rare that is for a defensive coach to be able to step out of that defensive mindset and be aggressive offensively on 4th downs repeatedly in key moments. There would have been coaches from previous years that would have punted on the 4th and inches from the Bills 33 and hoped the D got the ball back for the offense one more time.
  3. They know that's their only chance to win because the offense isn't going to help them.
  4. What's a little surprising to me is how much OBJ is loved and respected around the league. Literally everyone wants him on their team, and that's coming from the other great players...Rodgers is cool with him and they are friends even. Last year was last year. Von Miller was brought in, in large part to ensure that doesn't happen again as much as he was to close out games. The Bills also learned a lot last year and they were necessary lessons to learn.
  5. Not sure exactly, but in 2017 this article claims an average NFL team spends about $4 million a year on travel expenses. I'm sure that has gone up somewhat since then. https://nhsbearsden.com/3148/the-paw-print/the-logistics-of-moving-an-nfl-team/#:~:text=In 2017%2C National Football League, with only 8 away games.
  6. Not sure if you remember the late 80's and 90's but white WR's were basicaly in either 1 of 2 categories. The speed guy who had average hands and that's all they could do(Beebe, Brad Lamb, etc) or the slow, sure handed possession receivers that were the security blankets on 3rd down, like Tom Waddle with the Bears. You rarely even saw white WR's, they just weren't a thing back then and certainly nobody had them in a conversation as being one of the great WRs in the game. I am not sure when that changed and white WR's became a thing again, but Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, Adam Thielen and Cooper Kupp have kind of ushered in a new era showing white kids that they can be a WR whereas they may have not even bothered and just played a different position growing up.
  7. Maybe, but still a hell of an accomplishment...even more so considering all 3 were on the road and one was a playoff game.
  8. Oh damn...I forgot that Kupp barely missed the record last year...he broke the yards from scrimmage by a WR record with 1965, I think that's what I was thinking of...edited the post/title. Thanks!
  9. I was upset we didn't get an "It is Davis!" call from Nantz on the TD.
  10. Even crazier is that Tyreek Hill IS on pace to break Johnson's record with 1986 receiving yards...he currently is ahead of Diggs who is in second place with 701 yards.
  11. All 3 of these games came on the road, one in the playoffs. Josh Allen is special.
  12. I took off my added Bills UV sleeve in the 2nd quarter because it got too hot and the Bills responded with Davis' long TD. That started the turn around.
  13. Diggs should shatter his own personal records he set in his first year as a Bill...currently on pace for: 138 receptions 1858 yards 17 TDs That would put him under 100 yards away from Calvin Johnson's 1964 receiving yards record that Kupp nearly broke last year. Really just an unbelievable start to the year by the Bills and Josh Allen/Stefon Diggs in particular.
  14. Allen joins Drew Brees as the only player in NFL history with 300+ yard and 3+ TD's with 0 INTs against the same opponent in 3 consecutive games:
  15. He is just getting started and is learning to play zone completely from scratch for the first time in his life. I'd say he is a pretty quick study and is going to continue to get better throughout the year...by playoff time he could be a force.
  16. I doubt it, but they have the easiest schedule in the NFL this year so it's not improbable and maybe even likely they finish with the best record.
  17. Lack of skill position players and they are now a run first team.
  18. The majority of metrics say we are an all-time great team, or at least have the chance to be one if they continue at this pace.
  19. Zack Moss was inactive so he couldn't have seen the field
  20. Uhh...they rotate guys in and out on the DLine every series. Have you not been here the past 3 years they do this every game? Most guys on DLine get about 30-50% of snaps
  21. I have no idea what they were doing in the RZ. It's almost inexplicable...cover him great all the way down the field and then just let him get wide open 4 times when you know Mahomes is going to look for him.
  22. Lmao...now the Eagles are the most complete team in football for beating a team with a backup QB that throws lollipops? Cooper Rush has no arm.
  23. He had 4 TDs against Oakland but only 25 yards on 7 catches so outside of the 10 yard line they played him very well. We need to see what they did and try that.
  24. Just noticed that when he started talking about Honey Badger leaving the game early...he is with New Orleans now and taking bad angles on game winning TDs to Chase
