Anyone who watches this game and thinks Justin Herbert is in the convo with Mahomes and Allen for best QBs in the NFL must be really smoking some good stuff.

Dick Jauron and Gregg Williams would not have

Every time I watch the Broncos this Browning guy is all over the damn place... What a great move to switch him to OLB

Josh Allen is the best quarterback, no... player in the NFL

Don't forget before the hurdle, he also almost caused Sneed to tear his ACL with a juke move after he was the player Allen hurdled the last time... Sneed must REALLY hate to see Allen running in the open field... -

Either it will be a good game or the Bills will beat the hell out of someone and we get to see the 2022 version of "The Greatest Show On Turf" -
Currently the top 3 punters in the NFL would all have broken the all time single season punting record and we have 6 of the top 20 punting averages in NFL history this year. So there really is no debate that punters are booting the hell out of the ball now more than ever, Look at Slinging Sammy Baugh as the all time single season punting leader way back in 1940! That is impressive as hell, and he wasn't a bad QB either...for 1940 that is.

Still the Bills left 14-21 points out there......

Almost getting to the point that anything under a 60 yarder and you expect the kicker to make it. -
2020 was also the year of no crowd noise and I think that likely played some role in the ability of both teams to be able to operate their offenses with neither having a disadvantage of crowd noise affecting what they could do and giving the defensive players an edge on getting a split second jump on the snap count

Five Biggest Takeaways from the Bills' Win Over the Chiefs (article)
Big Turk replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Part of that is because we pass up easy points to go for TDs and don't always get them. We are still 2nd in the NFL in scoring and first by almost 30 yards in yards per game at over 440, which would be the 7th highest in NFL history. -
He wasn't counted on the roster, so no. Effectively they chose to keep what they already have versus activating him and releasing someone else.

The NFL for a second year in a row is facing declining offensive scoring and production. Part of this is driven by bad QB play, but I have to think part of this also is driven by punters becoming really good. Analytically, every yard on the field is worth "x" amount of points gained or lost on an average drive, meaning it is typically harder to score the farther you are backed up(well...except maybe if you are the Bills). I can't ever remember as many punts that have been bombed on a regular basis as what I am seeing this year. Even against the Bills, the D gets a stop and I think they will have great field position and then the punter bombs the balls and instead of starting at the 40 we are starting at the 15 because we either have to fair catch it or it gets so much hang time that our returner barely has time to do anything before the defending players are on him. Looking at league leaders(which the Bills still don't have a qualifying player for), there are 5 players averaging more than 50 yards a punt and we have played the top two in Stonehouse and Townsend with Tennessee and KC respectively. The lowest punter is Matt Haack and he is averaging 43.9 yards, which is pretty high for a lowest player... Funny to think about punting being so good as being a reason why offense is down, but I think this may be something to watch going forward. Not that the Bills would know. 🤣

He is right. The Bills sometimes get beat by a great defensive playcall or great defensive play. But far more often what stops the Bills on offense is themselves by not executing properly. -
Probably wanted to see how things looked injury wise after 6 weeks...didn't need to make any sort of roster move at the time, so why wouldn't you let things play out and see how the season started?

I heard Martindale is still enraged about his firing from Tic Tac Dough and is deciding to take it out on opposing offenses.

The things that Allen describes as seeing before and during plays is just remarkable... Last week on the 98 yard TD to Davis, Allen said he noticed the safety was taking a bad angle on the double team and couldn't provide help so he knew Davis would be open once he cleared the CB... Yesterday, he talks about how he saw the underneath player on the throw to Knox and was trying to point for him to go back towards the middle of the endzone where there was a bunch of open space, but then decided to throw it to him and knew he had to put the ball over the underneath DB that was there and threw a perfectly placed laser about 2 inches over the DBs fingers when he jumped and it was perfectly placed to Knox where only he could catch it even with very good coverage on the play really... It's like how the F do you see all that in real time, process it so fast and then have your physical talent match your mental processing to exactly do what you wanted to with the ball?
