That's a good possibility. Adjustments once teams get film on tendencies and getting on the same page with what you want to happen on a given play can take some time to develop...especially if they are running similar play designs and concepts with subtle differences

Once again...USA looking dangerous until they get near or inside the 18 yard box and then lose possession with a bad pass or cross without even getting a shot off. Spacing seems off...too many players too close together bringing more defenders near them leaving no space to work. As my Dad used to tell me while watching my games when I was 8 or 9, they look like a bunch of grapes. They need to be better there. This isn't going to get it done against the Netherlands who are patiently waiting for counterattack opportunities to use the USA's aggression against them.

I felt bad for him...he was obviously severely hobbled pretty much from the first series where he re-aggravated his ankle injury and had to get a massive tape job. Came back in to try and gut it out but obviously was not anything close to 100%. Gutsy effort from him, even if it wasn't a good performance.

Do yourself a favor then and put me on the ignore list so you'll never have to worry about it again. Problem solved.

Not sure what there is to disagree about? Had a few tough plays for sure but opened up holes for the run game and Allen had time on some throws also. Gameplan looked similar to Rams and Titans game...take the easy throws, let them do the work, keep the chains moving.

For one because the owner would have to come up with hundreds of millions of dollars in signing bonuses up front. For two because most teams know UFAs are a good fill in but the draft is where teams built to last must gain most of their talent (ask the Rams) For three because obviously there is a limit as to how much you can do, but rest assured it's a lot more than most people think. Otherwise teams that were more than $100 million over the cap this offseason would have had to be gutted and instead they kept most of their important players and were signing UFA's in addition.

Salary cap is fake accounting. They can keep whoever they want to keep. Cap will be going up significantly every year the next 4-5 years.

Now people will complain because we are "only" putting up 360 yards of offense since we run the ball more. Just can't win. If we went for 600 yards every game with 300 yards passing and 300 yards rushing and scored 50+ points people would find something to complain about.

Every game is its own animal. The Bills did what the needed to do to win this game and did so in dominant fashion. Whether or not it meets some standard you want doesn't matter. All that matters is they keep stacking dubs. After 3 games in 12 days, all on the road and having dealt with crazy situations no other team has to deal with for the first half of it, I'll cut them some slack. I know you are probably one of those Madden guys who believes none of that real life stuff has any effect on performance, but unlike in the game, in real life it actually does. If the Bills wanted to put up 400+ yards, they could have done it. They didn't need to. NE was so thoroughly dominated and demoralized they allowed the Bills to kneel the clock out with 2 minutes left and all 3 TOs. The Bills made them give up. That's all you should need to know.
