  1. Kind of like the Dolphins strategy against us...with a major assist from the sun, heat and humidity. Strange they happened on the same day.
  2. We will see in 3 weeks how good they are.
  3. Without question? They beat the Browns by 1 point in a miracle game where it only happened because Chubb wants to pad his stats more than he wants wins. They beat a terrible Steelers team when they benched Trubisky at the half on the last play of the game. They beat a Dolphins team playing their 3rd string rookie in his first NFL game with no game prep and they beat a GB team that looks decidedly average at best. That was their best win. I'm not sure how that gets them to 5th best team in the AFC. Or maybe that just says how bad the AFC is compared to what we thought it would be.
  4. Jets are not going 12-5. They have the hardest remaining schedule in the NFL. NE isn't getting to 11 wins either. I see both as 7-9 win teams.
  5. Yup, and UB has seen that take place twice in the last few years for both football and basketball. Turner Gilll and Leipold in football and then Bobby Hurley and Nate Oats in basketball.
  6. Since 2000, the only teams with a larger difference in yardage totals between 1st and 2nd place in offense has been the 2013 Broncos with Manning, the 2011 Saints with Brees, the 2007 Patriots with Brady and the 2001 and 2000 Greatest Show on Turf teams with the Rams. I would expect that gap over Detroit to grow as the season moves forward.
  7. UB has been playing better but they really took a hit when Leipold left. He was a fantastic coach. Sucks that UB is only the place where they find good coaches who only come on their rise to bigger and better.
  8. Yeah...forgot that one...Tua literally threw him a gift pick 6. We have great players to be sure on D, but the even bigger part is how well they all play together, fill their role to a T on every play and play within the structure of the defense. Bills have the most disciplined, technically sound defense in the NFL.
  9. "What number beer are you on watching these throws...isn't it so refreshing??"
  10. I think the line in general is very deep in terms of ability all over the place. Rousseau, Basham and Lawson are all very effective against the run and setting edges, Da'Quan is a monster inside and the other DT's have been playing very well also.
  11. They said Hackett is trying to force him to play on schedule in his offense and his entire career is predicated on making big plays and deep throws off schedule. IMO, Hackett trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Never going to work with Wilson and him unless he tailors his offense to his strengths.
  12. Hard to find another Milano or Poyer as well...teams might have one of these types of players, but rarely are they stacked with 4 or 5 of them on the field at the same time.
  13. I remember when he first started playing, cameramen were so far behind his throws, it was like you didn't even see the ball on the screen it traveled so fast, you saw it once the receiver caught it. Took like 2 or 3 games for cameramen to get used to it.
  14. The Bills have beaten all 3 other division leaders in the AFC. Tennessee, Baltimore and KC all lead their divisions and all of them got L's against the Bills. And she isn't even really hot to distract us from those terrible takes like some of the other hosts on shows are.
  15. They really don't HAVE any decent teams on their schedule...that's the problem.
  16. You can disagree but pretty much everything is tilted towards the Bills in that conversation. You haven't mentioned why you think that. I really hope its not because you are going to say they run the ball. The Bills don't really care about that and showed if they wanted to they could be effective at it.
  17. We taught the NFL how to defend against Lamar, so we might be kinda good at figuring things out like that. Yes I remember the last time they scored less than 20. It was in week 3 when they lost to Indy 20-17.
  18. They most definitely do not have a more complete team than we do. The Bills are #1 in DVOA on both offense and defense and in total, 14.1% ahead of the second place Eagles who rank 5th in both categories. First time since 2003 TB a team has been first in both categories after week 6. Bills have a potential all-time team in the history of the NFL. The Eagles are not that and are not even close to that, IMO. The Bills have the best Net Yards per Drive ever since they started keeping these stats in 1993, almost 3 yards better than the 2007 Patriots. Eagles are 2nd, over 7 yards behind the Bills. They are winning games because they are a good team with an unbelievably easy schedule. They may finish with the best record in the NFL this year, but it won't be because they are a better team than the Bills. I would expect the Bills to win by multiple scores and make it look easy if we play them in the SB.
  19. I dunno man...Hurts has the easiest remaining schedule in the NFL, he may just keep beating crappy teams. Not going to be enough when you are on pace for 17 TD Passes.
  20. I doubt Tre starts...I think he will be worked in slowly over the next 2-3 games.
  21. There are so many plays the Bills squandered during that game. Davis not holding onto a TD thrown right in his hands in the endzone was another missed opportunity. Bills left 24-30 points on the field that game easily. I heard him on a few weeks ago actually.
  22. More impressive than this is their Net Yards Per Drive which stands at 18.11 and is almost double last year's league leading 9.2(TB was second at 5.8 for reference). That is absolutely ridiculous. They are basically doubly as good in this stat as they were last year. For reference, the best team ever since it has started being kept in 1993 were the 2007 Patriots at 15.2. We are well above them right now.
  23. Net Yards per Drive differential still the highest ever since it started being tracked in 1993. Currently at 18.11, down slightly from 18.84 prior to Chiefs game. Still well ahead of the 15.2 record set by the 2007 Patriots. Top teams in the league are typically in the 8-9 range regularly. Bills finished #1 in the NFL last year at 9.20, TB was 2nd at 5.80. Bills are basically twice as good in this metric as they were last year which is absurd and amazing at the same time.
