  1. I mean for the most part I agree, until it happens in a situation like it did with Rodgers against the Giants on 4th and goal from the 2 yard line needing a TD to win late in the 4th and the ball gets batted. And then people are going to ask "Why is Allen having so many tipped balls?"
  2. Allen seems to be having a lot of tipped balls this year from watching the games and looking at the numbers it's significantly more than last year. He is tied for the league lead with 12 batted balls with Mayfield who has to field questions as to why he was having so many. Granted Allen has 80+ more attempts but still, compared to last year even, it's significantly more. Herbert led the NFL with 17 last season, Allen had the second most at 16. Currently he is on pace to have 34 which would be an outrageous number. So I am wondering if there is something that is causing this that anyone has noticed? Is it him getting rid of the balls quicker? The shorter throws he is making more regularly? Bad luck? DLinemen stopping a rush to try and bat the ball down more? Curious as to if Allen, Dorsey or McD will start getting asked about this if the media notices... I can't find anything concrete on this but it appears Allen may be on pace to set a new batted balls record. I read an article from late October of 2018 that talked about how Cousins was on pace for 32 that year with the previous record being 23 in 2006. I don't have any final tally on Cousins for that year. Can't find the final numbers for 2018, but 2019-2021, the highest is Baker with 20 in 2019. Allen's numbers: 2019: 10 2020: 4 2021: 16 2022: 12(thru 6 games)
  3. The tipped ball issue is a thing...Herbert led the NFL in those last year with 17, Allen was 2nd with 16. This year he is tied with Mayfield for 12, although Allen has 80+ more attempts, which means he is on pace for 34 foe the year which woukd be more than double his total from last year. Not sure if it's bad luck, him making quicker, shorter throws allowing the DLine to get their hands up or maybe something else... Wonder if someone in the media will ask McD or Dorsey about this...
  4. Honestly surprised it's not more. GB living off the past with Vegas.
  5. Josh Allen didn't have a lot of answers that day, mainly because he didn't even know what the questions were 😂
  6. Some points: - His leaping over people is based on a feel he gets on what a guy has done prior and his read on the flow of the game - Allen got a huge bruise on his butt from the leap after falling and sliding... - heading to Orange County to hang out with family on the bye week and hitting up some shopping and a bunch of restaurants in the area - gave "The Princess Bride" a "C" and said he actually fell asleep during the movie - movie assigned this week is "Point Break" - LOVE that movie and cannot wait to see what he thinks of it! - team is happy going into the bye week 5-1 considering they left a lot out there still and are getting guys back healthy - said he loves Dawson Knox and is his best friend but he would never let Dawson marry his unborn daughter, nor Dawson's son 😂 - Allen was shown the Hertel Ave renamed Hurdle Sign with a lifesize Josh on top of it - Allen said he can dunk a basketball but doesn't do it much because he is heavy and it is tough on his joints
  7. Bills and Chiefs players both expecting a rematch:
  8. Bengals and Dolphins in the AFC Hard to find anyone in the NFC other than maybe the Packers since overall the conference is so bad.
  9. I think the Giants will fade as the year goes on and I think Dallas is probably a 9-10 win team.
  10. So that was kinda like the play in the Houston playoff game where he is running and tries to pitch it to Knox basically?
  11. Nope, they turn it over on downs as much as they punt probably, but that is NOT the same as a turnover. They do, but they also have made too many silly mistakes that aren't from taking chances, just from dumb plays or being careless. That's what I want to see them specifically clean up. I'm fine with high risk football, but high risk doesn't mean careless or silly. Well...it may have been in Miami...that sack/strip leading to the Fins first TD might have won them the game in the end.
  12. The velocity of those first 2 throws hitting Davis is crazy...the sound it makes is this giant "THUD!" "This s**t is too easy for me man!" - I guess I would feel the same way if I scored 5 TDs in the last 6 quarters against a team too!
  13. We get to see Bills/Vikings during the regular season and I think the Vikes get smoked.
  14. I know that, never said it was only UB where it happens, just that it has happened.
  15. I agree with that. Why was McKenzie there if he wasn't an option, unless it was only to draw the defense to him and allow Allen a running lane. Sometimes I feel like this team gets bored and likes challenging itself because it's too easy otherwise. Then in some games they are like "Nah, we will just kick your ass so we can sit down in the 4th today"
  16. I am actually doing the opposite. I am saying that we could be far better than the juggernaut we already are. I think you should re-read what I actually wrote instead of skimming over it and making assumptions. Allow the Bills backups and Case Keenum to get in the game?
  17. Bills already featured on Thanksgiving so we aren't getting moved.
  18. Could you imagine how good the Bills would be if they would stop with these silly turnovers? I was surprised when I saw how much they actually turn the ball over...I am not sure what the remedy is, it usually comes on careless type plays. Almost like they think they are so good, they can just try whatever and it will still work out. Like the McKenzie pitch in the KC game...he wasn't even looking for the ball and Allen still pitched it... Only 4 teams with a higher percentage of their offensive drives ending in TO's...Rams, Patriots, Saints and Colts. The only teams with 4 wins or more that have turned the ball over at a higher rate than 8.8% of their offensive drives are the Bills and Jets. Scary to think how good they could be on offense if they stop turning the ball over. Bills average an NFL best 6.6 Yards/Play, 7.6 Net Yards/Pass Attempt, Score on 46% of our drives, 3rd to Las Vegas and KC and have the highest Expected Points from offense in the NFL at 81.35. This juggernaut could become even better. that's a scary thought.
  19. So for me this means if the Bills were to play a team 10 times, how many times do I think they'd win? I have a hard time going under 9, which means its 90%...maybe 8.5 for one of the Jets/Pats games since divisional opponents usually play you tougher, so like 85% for one of those games?
  20. He was at the game as the color analyst on the national radio broadcast...he may have been popping them in the booth 😂
  21. Green Bay is a Sunday Night game...where exactly would you flex it to? There is no way any NFL Exec that doesn't want to be fired would flex OUT of a Bills game. That's ridiculous. Allen is at his best on those games and the country can't get enough of it. Looks at how his numbers jump in Primetime.
