  1. It's irrelevant, the Bills are simply far better than the Packers are, and Josh Allen on PrimeTime is usually otherworldly Is that the game that Mario Williams destroyed them and Aaron Rodgers looked God Awful? And Jordy Nelson dropped a wide open long TD? Also...the Baccari Rambo game with 2 INTs...
  2. Love it! Watched the full first season and couldn't wait for the next season to start!
  3. And here is an in depth breakdown of the Von Miller sack on 3rd down that got the Bills the ball back for the GW drive by Allen by some KC Guys that seem similar to what Cover 1 does... Cover 2 High Shell rotated into Cover 1 robber at the snap.
  4. You mean except in last year's playoff game?
  5. Or add teams switching sidelines at the half for any situations where there is a huge discrepancy between the two.
  6. Yeah that play was designed for Taron to be a "Robber" where Jackson passed his man to the deep half safety to sit in the flat and wait on the quick out from Schuster with Johnson lying in wait to spring the trap. Notice Jackson playing "ass to boundary" which is becoming all the rage in the NFL. It was almost like an orchestra playing on defense with all the pieces in perfect harmony playing together to create that outcome.
  7. Not to mention the next time the two rookie CB's Ka'iir Elam and Christian Benford will have another 12+ games of experience, we will have All-Pro Tre White back, and Damar Hamlin will not be starting in only his 3rd NFL game. Yeah, Bills have had an almost unreal gauntlet of injuries this year including being down 12 starters at one point in Miami...ankle injuries left, right and center. Luckily they were as healthy as they have been since the first game of the year against KC.
  8. excellent article talking about how Frazier used Miller to go after Mahomes and had the other defenders play off him to contain Mahomes in the pocket. Frazier used a 3-2-6 alignment to contain Mahomes in the pocket without taking a defender out of coverage along with aggressive spies(and sometimes multiple spies) that would trigger and rush hard towards him as soon as he broke the pocket. https://archive.ph/oShmN
  9. It's hard to have any conversation with Chief fans on that board that doesn't devolve into some version of: "Mahomes is the greatest QB and if you don't think so you are an idiot" "Chiefs will just win when it counts, this game didn't matter" "Bills just won their superbowl, congrats" "Chiefs D will be way better when Gay, Fenton(who they were begging to be benched all season, but now somehow is a huge benefit when he returns and a reason they lost) and some other dude returns and if this is all the Bills can do with a bunch of rookies playing then we are golden"
  10. It was a hard fought game, but as a Chiefs fan is it concerning to see the Bills and Allen walk into Arrowhead 3 times in a row and be a 13 seconds and a miracle of miracles away from being 3-0 with Allen arguably outplaying Mahomes in all 3 games? A case can be made the playoff game was a push but the other 2 went to Allen. I know many will still tout the playoff game as the Bills still needing to prove it in the playoffs, but it kinda feels like the Bills are just taking the title of AFC best/NFL best team from KC right now... By all means tho this is going to be a matchup we see a lot during the next decade and as Bart Scott once said: "Can't Wait!"
  11. I remember hearing Michael Irvin saying Allen might as well have gone over and handed the ball to Davis and Diggs on those TD throws, they were so perfect.
  12. No, they have been consistent in pretty much every game.
  13. I'd rather identify the problem and fix it proactively as I am sure the coaches would. Really? Then why does Brady only have 1 batted ball?
  14. It actually would be bad execution by Allen because pitching the ball to McKenzie was not one of the options for Allen on the play. That was an improvisation by Allen ala the Houston playoff game when he was running and pitched it to Dawson Knox...who also wasn't ready for it. The options for Allen on that play per what we were told was to hand it off, run with it himself or throw a pass. There was no option to pitch it to McKenzie, he was likely there as a decoy to draw eyes and defenders away from Allen running it. Allen clearly was going to run with it himself until 3 Chief defenders were about to tackle him behind the LOS when he decided to pitch it to McKenzie who wasn't looking...I guess that's a situation where you maybe tell McKenzie to always be ready for the unexpected with Allen, but I don't think blaming him is really fair.
  15. Watkins has been designated to return from IR...likely he will be playing when we face GB.
  16. So if we lose the Superbowl because of a tipped ball on 4th and goal with Diggs standing wide open, still not going to care huh? Just gonna chalk it up to bad luck when you knew 14 weeks ago it wasn't?
  17. Look...I know we want to downplay any issues the team has because they are so good but this has the potential to be a major issue down the line if they don't fix it. Because you know when it's going to rear it's ugly head otherwise? On a key 3rd/4th down play late in the game in the playoffs that could be the difference between winning and losing. Just ask Aaron Rodgers against the Giants. It's one thing if I was saying this and they were middle of the pack...quite another when Allen is on pace to shatter the NFL record for batted balls by a third.
  18. So you are trying to tell me that every QB in the history of the NFL fits those categories? Because Allen is on pace to shatter the NFL record for this, which is 23 set way back in 2006, 16 years ago by 11. Again...this is not...well, it's sort of bad...this is, it's the worst in NFL history bad. Not sure how you can file this as anything other than "They need to figure it out because it has the potential to cost them an important game down the road if they don't"
  19. Again, most players have 4-6 tips, and in a combined 17 starts with Goff, Mariota and Brady they have 1 tipped ball between them on 570 attempts. Herbert, last years leader with 17 has 9, 3 behind Allen and Mayfield. Maybe some of these points are valid, but 12 tipped balls is too many no matter what the reason is, IMO. He is on pace to shatter the NFL record of 23 set in 2006 with 34. Could you imagine if a tipped ball ends up costing us a Super Bowl with Diggs wide open in the endzone?
  20. Nobody other than Allen and Mayfield has more than 9(Herbert who led the NFL last year), most have 4-6... Mariota, Goff and Brady who have started all of their teams games(17 starts as Goff was on a bye this week) have a combined 1 batted ball between them on 570 attempts.
  21. Edmunds is going to get 15+ million from someone...likely not the Bills.
  22. Pickett put up yards in large part to the Bills playing soft much of the game, plus they had no real game tape on him. He had a good game for a first start. Bills D is much more like the first 4 games where they held 3 teams to 220 yards or less and the other to under 300 than the last 2
  23. I mean they did have that one Jets game in week 1 2019 they won like 17-16 where they were down 16-0 until Allen hit John Brown for the go ahead TD late in the game after they kept turning the ball over with 4 TOs the first half, including 2 fumbles by Allen inside the Jet 40 and 2 INTs, one of them a pick 6 by CJ Moseley.
  24. Allen is like Neo from the Matrix after Morpheus tells him "Don't think you can do it...KNOW you can!" and once Allen started to believe that midway through last season it's been pretty much over for opposing teams on D.
