3 man rush with an aggressive spy in Milano
-
It goes back to hearing a speaker one time talk about how if you took a giant room full of people, had everyone take out a piece of paper, write all their problems down on it, fold it up, put it in a hat and then went around the room and had everyone take turns drawing out a randomly folded up piece of paper that you would find out two things. First, you'd find out that everyone has problems. Second, you'd find out you probably wish you had your list back instead of the one you picked out of the hat.

Truly a tragic incident. This girl was hit by a drunk driver while standing on a lawn, paralyzed from the neck down and her boyfriend was killed... If you can take 5 or 10 minutes out of your day to write a card, please do so. I don't know this person but I am going to take a few minutes out of my day to try and brighten hers. Would be awesome if others could do the same!

NFL warns it will punish teams for faking injuries
Big Turk replied to Fleezoid's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wow...imagine a player and/or coach(es) suspended in the next round of a playoff game for this??? "Clubs and individuals determined to be in violation of this rule will be subject to League discipline 'to include a minimum fine of $350,000 for the club, a minimum fine of $100,000 for the head coach, a minimum fine of $50,000 for assistant coaches, if applicable, and a minimum fine of $50,000 for players," the memo states. "Please be advised that violations of this rule may also result in suspensions of persons involved, and/or the forfeiture of a draft choice(s), including for first offenses. Clubs, club personnel (including head coaches and assistant coaches), and players have been held accountable for their actions this season." -
Just the non-stop cloud cover does it for me...there are times you won't see the sun for a week or two. No surprise that I found Buffalo is the cloudiest city in the US during winter. A stunning 96% of all winter days. Rochester and Cleveland aren't much better tho.

This man might be on suicide watch after that game based on his reaction to the 49ers loss yesterday:

Quinnen Williams & Richard Sherman hardest QB to tackle
Big Turk replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think part of it was Sherman was such an intelligent player that when coaches told him to do stuff that didn't make sense, he had to question them... -

Receiver Options For the Remainder of the Season?
Big Turk replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
What was it that Julius told Gary in Remember the Titans when they were arguing doing two-a-days? "Attitude Reflects Leadership" Houston is devoid of a lot of things, and leadership is at the top of the list. ns -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - No Bills on Sunday Afternoon, No Problem
Big Turk replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Belichick's ego won't allow him to do a full rebuild. He thinks he can coach up scrubs to be all-pro's and his successes on defense with Malcolm Butler and JC Jackson, taking them from UDFA's and turning them into star players(although Butler's star was fleeting), has fueled this. And to be honest, he is getting a LOT more out of this NE team than most coaches would...they are just devoid of talent in a lot of areas. They do well against mediocre/bad teams but are exposed badly against good/great ones. Not unlike so many of the Bills era teams during the drought, but with less overall talent, IMO. -

You sound like the taskmaster at work that wonders why they keep having employees quit and getting burnt out. Yeah...because dealing with 6 feet of snow, relocating games, playing 3 games in 12 days and numerous other things that entails plays no part in being mentally fatigued. You trying to start your own Comedy Hour? Off to a good start. -

Pushing teammates forward. Should it be legal or not?
Big Turk replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
When the NFL started, this was a very common play where it devolved into rugby scrums with players from both sides trying to push a player with the ball forward/backwards. Likely also why the games usually had lots of injuries and games routinely ended in 0-0 ties. A one TD lead was nearly insurmountable back then. It's part of the game and hasn't turned into anything close to that, so I am fine with leaving it in. Just a play where football still maintains something from it's roots so to speak. There aren't many of those things left, I don't think we need to eliminate them completely. -

Beane's master stroke was making multiple trades to get from 21 into the top 10...and it started before the draft by Trading Cordy Glenn and our first to Cincy to get to 12. Then using multiple 2nd round picks to get from 12 to 7. I think even before the salary cap era this was a problem and it was caused by teams holding onto their stars for a year or two too long instead of replacing them with young players. -

Big Turk replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
His unwillingness to package picks and trade up is what likely hurt him. He enjoys trading down and accumulating picks, but when you need a franchise QB, sometimes you have to aggressively go get him....like Beane did. -
Bears were the winningest franchise in NFL history for the past 101 years. That is no longer the case, and the Packers have surpassed them now after their win yesterday against the Bears and a game in which Aaron Rodgers said: "I may be sucking this year, but don't forget---I still f**king own you!"

And there is also merit in taking a mental break after all they had to deal with over the past 2 weeks as well so they can have a clear mind and better mental state for the stretch run coming up. Can only burn the candle at both ends for so long before it burns out. -

Do you think Mac Jones wouldn't look helpless a lot of times if he had Deebo Samuel there instead of Jakobi Meyer? They might not be top 10 players, but they are certainly top 30 players(minus Renfrow and Slayton), and far better than Harry is... so bad he had to be traded before his rookie contract was up.
