It was so bizarre it had the Bills defenders wondering what was going on. They "controlled the clock" themselves out of the game as time ran out.

Von Miller and Groot said as much after the game...they both were shocked the Packers kept running the ball.

Most games they do very well. This game it seemed they were afraid of Rodgers throwing deep on them and refused to get out of nickel and were willing to trade off getting gashed in the run game and GB using lots of clock to honestly accomplish not much of anything as it turned out for that peace of mind. Even with GB running the ball well, it never felt like they were in the game.

There likely was and the booth saw the tip of the ball hit the ground...very close, but it appeared pretty conclusive it barely hit the ground before he vacuumed it in. The booth does reviews like this a lot and has started to do them during the game to help officials as well...they did a booth review and messaged the officials to overturn that GB catch and ruled an incompletion after discussion.

The Bills essentially let them shorten the game for themselves while not doing anything to actually get in position to win the game. They obviously were not happy with giving up so many runs and getting out of position on some runs. However, down 17 points, I am more than happy to let a team run the ball as much as they want. Especially when they aren't running any form of hurry up offense.

He really impressed me. Dude seemed to get 4-5 extra yards almost every run than what you'd expect. How the heck doesn't GB just feed him the ball?

The Bills seem to sometimes allow the other team to run themselves out of time when they have big leads. It's happened a lot...Bills play softer coverage, allow some plays, but keep them in front of them and make them use up a ton of time.

The Bills were up 17 points and got caught by surprise the Packers still kept running it...they even admitted it. Both Miller and Rousseau. Likely they got a little to antsy to rush the passer and got caught out of position.

I doubt it works that well again. The Bills came in as the #1 run D in the NFL.

Wondering if the other teams look at this and start trying to get in the Bills heads with all the trash talk and extra curricular stuff.

I'd say that it's unlikely he will play at that level this year and likely will be worked back into the lineup slowly rather than all at once.

Maybe. Why do you assume the other team always is going to play their best game tho? It's like if the Bills play their C- game, the other team MUST play their A+ game? It doesn't work like that.

The Bills led by 17 at the half, the Packers never got it closer than 10 and that happened with about 6 minutes left.

I am thinking Einstein is far more off the standard of that name than the Bills were on their standard of play today

They have and McDermott was especially harsh about quite a few things and said it's not up to their standard and they didn't play their best game.

Things change game to game. This is a matchup league. Other teams do not have the ability to do what GB did for the most part. The Bills will likely not play that poorly against the run again. I can't understand people who freak out about a single game and act like it's going to be the same thing every week.

I was shocked how they kept huddling up in the 4th quarter and didn't start going to hurry up until there was like 7 mins left.

Sometimes I think we get bored in games...like they just lose focus because it's so easy for them.

And they scored 27 points and cruised to victory. For half the offenses in the league this would have been their best performance of the year. Think about that for a second and realize how spoiled we have become.

And then they won 4 straight to finish. Don't forget that part. But yeah you are right in that they didn't come out strong post bye last year. I'm hoping they learned their lesson.

Last year was last year. I don't see that happening with Von here this year.
