I cant disagree. He doesn't have great defenses during the year but they seem to get better in the playoffs. Ours gets worse season after season from regular season to playoffs.

The Chiefs literally let Hill walk because they wouldn't pay him. Chiefs didn't even have a WR with a $5 million cap hit this year. MVS was the highest at $4.8 million. Not them. The Raiders top 2 WRs made had a cap hit of $16 million combined this year. Nope, not them. Chargers yes...Bucs yes. Look what happened to them. The correct model is an elite 1st rounder on a rookie deal paired with a legit high priced #1.

I think they need a new DC but they won't. Frazier's schemes even with high level talent are exposed by good offenses in playoff games. I'm wondering if we could get more out of what we have in those situations with a different scheme. It would be hard to get less. It's like he coaches scared and gives up free yardage to not get beat deep

There is no way you can afford to pay 2 WRs #1 money. Every team in the NFL relies on a true #1 and a guy on a rookie deal. Look around and find me one team that pays 2 WRs #1 money. You won't find me one because there isn't one.

Especially if the Jets get a competant vet QB. Even Carr makes them a LOT better than they were this year with that D and the young skill position players. Fins have no 1st round pick this year.

But they weren't a great defense...they just took advantage of officials not making calls against them. Kudos to them. They didn't get away with it in the SB and got flagged often and blown out.

That's how KC does it. However their DC gets the most out of his talent in big games unlike Frazier who seems to do that until we play a really good offense, then he gets exposed.

I doubt that will be one of the demand made of him. In fact I know it won't. That's what I am saying. If they are going to continue running this scheme they need to focus on the offense. They simply need to outscore teams in the playoffs.
