I find it difficult to believe that he is going to be able to go Sunday without risking further longer-term injury. Obliques are basically used in every movement while playing football from breaking down and tackling, to quickly turning and changing directions, to fighting off blockers, to picking yourself up off the ground... I'd rather see him rest rather than take a chance at a longer term injury. Pulls routinely pull worse if you don't give them a long enough time to rest and heal.

Due to weak La Nina conditions in the third year...typically gives us warmer temps and less snowfall(although this doesn't mean a single day or stretch of time can't be cold and snowy, just usually reduces the odds). They also do a great job of moving around by gathering extra picks when they can and then using those extra picks to move up and get guys in those rounds they target.

I think this coincided with: 1) Doing a lot more pin and pull runs which spurred the improvement last season late in the year and moving away from the inside zone concepts to some degree. 2) Getting better at some of the inside zone concepts with more practice and better OLine coaching under Kramer.

Did anyone else see the play where I believe Davis caught the ball for a short gain and it was Alexander and Davis out there one on one and Alexander made it look like he was going to come tackle him normally and then waited a split second and launched himself at Davis' knee? I immediately thought that was a punk move and an attempted dirty(tho legal) play when I saw it... Anyone else see it or have an opinion on it?

They do have those game, like the 17-16 win and the 18-10 win, but they also have the 45-17 win and 27-10 win from last year where the game was never really in doubt.
