  1. How can you say that after watching them the last 2 games? Careless with the ball. Actions >>> Words. You can't throw 4 terrible INTs in 2 games and then say you are focused on preventing turnovers.
  2. Doesn't seem to be getting through...they are far too careless with the ball.
  3. The offense would have plenty of points if Allen stopped turning it over at a near NFL leading pace. Bills play as if turnovers are no big deal and don't really care about them on offense, but the team with the best turnover differential in the NFL is the only one still with 0 losses. There is a lesson to be learned in there for them.
  4. I'm not sure why it was even on the table to beging with. Nobody in their right mind would think a player with a season ending type injury could chuck a ball 70 yards downfield and show no real ill effects after the throw.
  5. I'm saying 1 although I think it could be anywhere between 0-2, with it being shocking if he missed more time that that. More likely is it is something he can play through but might cause him issues from time to time while doing it and could be only certain types of throws where it bothers him to any extent.
  6. It's frustrating for sure. It's almost like they get to a point where they just think they are going to show up and win on talent alone due to previous results and then it takes them a few weeks to realize that isn't going to happen. Like they don't have the maturity to not allow it to happen. It's frustrating because I really do feel the only team that can beat us is us. Stupid turnovers, dumb mistakes, bad run fits. And the thing that makes it even more frustrating is with all that, they still are only losing by 3 points or less and are in the game til the last second. Yes, Beane referenced that as to why he kept playing when he asked him. He told him there was nobody else left so I knew I had to do whatever I could to stay in there. It could have depending on if he is meeting with doctors or doing tests, etc. But yeah, it feels like the Bills don't want any advance knowledge of the injury prior to McD talking to the media about it.
  7. There would have been some type of reaction immediately after by Allen if that was the case which to my knowledge there wasn't. Doyle according to Beane in an interview I watched where he talked about it said he played the last 4 snaps with the ACL injury. Certainly not nothing, but not a bunch either.
  8. Why would you expect him to miss more time when a similar injury that he was immediately in pain with and was seen on the sideline in pain as they were testing it only caused him to miss 4 games? 70 yard throws are not made with injuries that require you to miss 4 games.
  9. Some claim Met Life turf has been responsible for those type of injuries well above league average...might have been the surface they were playing on as much as anything else last game.
  10. It's not babying, it's him demonstrating to them that he is gameday ready. You don't go from not doing an activity for 11 months to back to normal immediately. This isn't Madden, it's real life.
  11. Worst case scenario is he misses a game or two. There is virtually no chance he has to have surgery or anything like that. His rookie season when he had a UCL injury he was in obvious pain immediately on the field and on the sideline when they were doing tests. This was more like trying to get feeling back in there or rubbing a sore muscle. Then he chucked a ball 70 yards, the longest ball thrown in the last 6 years. You aren't doing that with a serious elbow injury. If he only missed 4 weeks with a more severe injury, you'd think there isn't much chance he misses the same amount of time with something less severe.
  12. The thing that pisses me off the most in this whole thing is that Allen got hurt essentially because Dawkins was called for holding because he blocked his man too well and basically pancaked him. Sadly these get called as holding a LOT even tho they are just damn good blocks. I think the completion to Diggs would have been overturned due to him not having his second foot down but that would have left us at 2nd and 10 instead of 1st and 20 and forced deeper drops by Allen.
  13. If it's a minor UCL sprain, likely would only worsen it if his arm got hit in the same place while throwing. Unlikely but possible... Depends on how bad the injury is tho. Maybe we will get some clues on Kyle Brandt's Basement segment with Allen from the man himself...will be tuned in as usual around 4:30ish
  14. I think you are letting your personal opinions cloud the facts. Beckham is one of the most beloved players I have ever seen in the NFL, even by people who never played with him. And not just anyone, by the big time players...I mean hell, even Aaron Rodgers loves the guy and talks to him regularly apparently. And he doesn't like anyone. Perhaps the only player in the NFL that doesn't love OBJ is Baker Mayfield.
  15. The point is more that the UCL isn't used very much in the throwing of a football by a QB so a UCL injury for an NFL QB is far less of an issue than for an MLB pitcher
  16. Likely because the UCL is not used very much in the motion of throwing for an NFL QB. Mostly its the forearm muscles underneath the elbow that help with grip strength. QB is still the problem. He had a decent showing against us, but he isn't capable of carrying that team when needed.
  17. The safety angles they are taking on outside runs mostly range from meh to atrocious... Ja'quan Johnson should not see the field again except for teams. Marlowe needs to come in for him in his place. Handling I haven't noticed since a few games ago on run angles and noticed a few TFLs he got so perhaps he has gotten better in that regard... IMO, Ja'quan Johnson is the weak link in this defense
  18. Record high 3 days in a row and temps near 80 Saturday was pretty damn nice for early November
  19. Ready to practice does not equate to ready for live game action. He hasn't played in 11 months, there is a LOT of stuff that he needs to get back into football shape with. They are not risking putting him back out there before he is ready to play FOOTBALL, not just practice and be medically cleared. I'm not sure how it is surprising that a player will need time to ramp up to playing in an actual game when he hasn't been able to practice for 11 months.
  20. I'd highly doubt that considering he came out of the game immediately when he previously injured it as a rookie.
