Using Josh situationally while his elbow is <100%
Big Turk replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am not sure why people assume he can't play with this injury. What he injured is not going to effect much of anything in terms of throwing the ball. The only way to reinjure it is if he gets hit exactly the same way again which is unlikely. -
On to Minnesota (get this game in the rear view mirror!)

They have been the healthiest team in the NFL since McD has been here...by a mile...80+ games over the 2nd place Rams and 400-500 over the worst teams during that time frame. The vast majority of the injuries have been ankles and I am not sure if there is any method to prevent those. They are still doing well at preventing the ones you can prevent like soft tissue injuries(hamstring pulls, etc) -

Yeah they are coasting to their division title...most uncompetitive division in the NFL. -

Weather Watch 2022, Part IX: Vikings at Bills, Nov. 13th
Big Turk replied to RiotAct's topic in The Stadium Wall
Back home in Minnesota they are potentially having blizzard conditions although it looks like most of that is going to be west and north of the greater Minneapolis area. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2022/11/09/first-blizzard-snow-north-south-dakota-minnesota/8316429001/ Gonna give them an early lead in the National Golden SnowGlobe competition...Buffalo won last year and has won 2 of the last 3 years...need to defend our dirt! -
No. Close Thread.

Going to be kinda blah. Not atypical for November tho. So far it's been a great start...very warm(broke records 3 straight days this weekend and hit 80 in many places Saturday) and sunny out most days which is totally not normal for November. It's the month with the lowest percentage of possible sunshine in WNY...on average about 28% -
Elmwood is poppin' these days. Lively scene with a lot of hipster type places and "greenerization" going on there Yeah but this is great even for people who live here...there are so many hidden gems in WNY that nobody has been to all of them.

We used to go to Perkins for those not MT.

I mentioned Black & Blue as a better option than overpriced ChopHouse

I've heard Frank's Sunny Italy on Hertel is really good but never been either.

Yeah NYBP is very good...been to both the Lockport and Victor locations many times. Get one of the giant pretzels...that one Worcestershire based dipping sauce is to die for.
-
Sorry bro...I was born and raised here and my opinion is it sucks. I know I can't be the only native WNY that thinks that... hahaha

Anybody see replay of Dion's holding penalty
Big Turk replied to LABILLBACKER's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I have watched it many times...my thoughts: It isn't a hold, it's a dominant finish, but the kind that is going to get called as a hold every time in the NFL unfortunately. -
Hmm...I would put Anderson's chicken sandwiches up against anyone's...best chicken sandwich I have ever had and I've had a lot of them. Never tried Grover's tho. I have heard a LOT of people speak well of that place in random conversations.

It will to a degree...although ligaments and tendons heal far slower than muscles due to much less blood flow to those areas. But you are right in that it likely remains more likely to be injured: https://research.cornell.edu/news-features/tendons-injuries-and-healing "Once a tendon is injured, it almost never fully recovers,” says Nelly Andarawis-Puri, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. “You’re likely more prone to injury forever. Tendons are very soft tissues that regularly transmit very large forces to allow us to achieve basic motion. They insert into stiff bone, which is a huge property mismatch. That interface is very complex.” Andarawis-Puri studies tendon injuries in an attempt to understand how wear and tear develops in the tendon and how to successfully heal the damage. “It’s a very real problem. Thirty percent of all people will have a tendon injury, and the risk is higher in women,” she says.

Went to BriteSmith once as a goodbye dinner for an employee our boss set up. It was pretty good...the mulled spiced cider was freaking amazing.

Would also highly recommend TCB(Tacos, Community and Beer). Gourmet tacos are amazing and the bowls are really great as well. Korean Short Rib taco = heaven.

Not sure about Gabriel's Gate but the other two would be.
