  1. I could live with that. That seems fair.
  2. I think their tanks might have just gotten a little boost
  3. It's because we didn't actually view any of those people dying during the blizzard
  4. Yes, this is the likeliest outcome as of what I am reading.
  5. This is what I am worried about...exactly what the team official talks about below...that the Bills emotional energy tank was almost on E even prior to the Hamlin tragedy happening from all of the energy they have expended this season and they simply might not have anything left in the tank after that...and honestly, who could blame them. They are not robots. https://kvia.com/sports/cnn-sports/2023/01/04/buffalo-bills-player-dion-dawkins-describes-moment-he-realized-something-is-really-really-wrong-after-damar-hamlins-collapse/
  6. I think the NFL has to provide clarity on their plan moving forward. If it is being ruled a no contest then it wouldn't count.
  7. Well if Cincy wins then there isn't an issue, so maybe the NFL is hoping that is the case.
  8. The main ideas are not counting KC's game against Denver last week towards seeding, using a random number generator 1-17 to not count one if KC's games towards seeding, or Bills-Bengals play a standalone game in week 19 and push the WC round back a week. I don't see anyone discussing winning percentage being used.
  9. Good sign...so are we going to see Johnson or Marlowe at safety? I'm hoping for Marlowe.

  11. Willing to bet that was what the first meeting was about.
  12. Tied with Sheets Laundry Company...getting support from everywhere and everyone across the league...
  13. Walkthrough and meetings. And I wouldn't be surprised if the first meeting was to decide what they as a team wanted to do for this weeks game in terms of playing or forfeiting it.
  14. Terry Pegula must be pinching himself with the McBeane tandem on the Bills and then seemingly about to replicate that with KADG with the Sabres. Not very often you find this type of combination once let alone twice in two different sports on two different teams at the same time. He is pretty much set for many many years. Even down to having unexpected breakout superstar out of nowhere on both teams like Josh for the Bills and Tage Thompson for the Sabres whose breakout is maybe even more stunning to the point the analytics people are questioning the value of what they provide.
  15. This is why what it "looked" like in the 1st quarter shouldn't be taken as what would have happened for the entire game. The Bills have given up quite a few first drive TDs/points this year and then adjusted relatively well after.
  16. That's my coach....*sniffle*...said with sunglasses on at a podium.
  17. It was clarified after by Jordan that there was only 1 resuscitation and that was on the field and they wanted to clear up any miscommunication by his uncle.
  18. Update from the gofundme page: Today by Damar Hamlin's Team, Team Member We're simply awestruck by the level of support and generosity we've seen over the past two days. With over $6 million raised, this fundraiser has become an overnight reminder of the incredible nature of humankind. Your actions directly reflect the type of human Damar is himself. As representatives of Damar, the team at Jaster Athletes posted the fundraiser updates and will work with the Hamlin family, The Chasing M's Foundation, and the GoFundMe team to ensure the safe delivery of funds. Because the situation is evolving, we'll continue to communicate any updates on the fundraiser. We will also work with GoFundMe to email all donors with more specifics regarding the use of funds as those details are available. As you can imagine, this has been a challenging time for the family. We appreciate your understanding as we give them the time and space they need to focus on Damar's health first. We're hopeful about Damar's future involvement in disbursing the incredibly generous contributions. We thank you again for your support and look forward to updating you along the way.
  19. Those people are retiring for the most part after they already have Medicare for their insurance. NFL players are not retiring anywhere near Medicare age(well, except maybe for Brady and a few kickers/punters) and as such have much longer to go without health insurance.
  20. Well...sort of...I believe in '71 a Lions player died on the field from a heart attack but was taken to the hospital and the game kept being played. I'm not sure what the circumstances were then or if they even had those type of AED machines and if they did if they were at the stadium. I would guess probably not.
