  1. Accuweather is...well...not very accurate most times. NOAA has the high at 29.
  2. well...you will be travelling in the right direction at least and likely will not see much snow on the way.
  3. Featuring Jacoby Brissett for the Colts...he must be thrilled and wondering what he has done to deserve another one of these games...also featuring what is one of the best catches I have ever seen in Deontae Thompson downfield...from Joe Webb...what?
  4. Most models are not very good at predicting lake events. Need to look at ones that are.
  5. Thursday night through Sunday night. Some models showing up to 61"...scary part is as the event gets closer those totals tend to creep upward, and continue going up at times during the event.
  6. It's about to be ugly...looking at the actual forecast, precip chance is 90% and 3 days and nights of "Snow. The snow could be heavy at times"
  7. That is craziness! We got lucky because the lake band was supposed to shift back north again and it never made it this far...never seen that much snow in my life and I grew up here...Was only 2 when the Blizzard of 77 hit but most of that was from snow that had already fallen and snow blown in off Lake Erie.
  8. All of this pretty much reads very badly. In the forecast discussion they are basically already comparing this exact scenario to November of 2000 and Snowvember and what happened then, and says in all caps that a lake response is all but GUARANTEED. Note at the end it says potential for significant lake snow to continue well after the initial watch expires.
  9. We got 7 feet in Depew/Lancaster...I live under 10 minutes from the airport and they barely got a foot.
  10. Really wish I would have known I was in a "downlow" lake effect zone in the Eastern suburbs past Walden and Transit before I moved here...we tend to get buried when the wind shifts a little further North and the bands go over Lackawanna, just south of Downtown Buffalo, barely miss the airport and hit us with a direct bullseye on their way to Batavia.
  11. Why do people assume snow games require running? Unless it is very windy, throwing the ball is highly effective as the WRs have the advantage of knowing where they are going and potential for big plays due to slipping and falling. We had quite a few snow games with the Kelly era Bills that were air raids. The wildcard playoff game against Miami for one.
  12. I promise you we will be getting more than that. "Snowvember" started out as 12-18" forecast and ended with over 7 feet in some places. A watch issued this early in the week is Bad News Bears and whenever you hear "significant", "long duration event" and "multiple periods of heavy snow" all being bandied about we are about to be f**ked. Ironically November has huge potential for big snow events because the lake is relatively warmer and when colder air blows over it, it tends to pick up more moisture.
  13. Edmunds get hurt and the Vikings start scoring. Those two couldn't be correlated could they?
  14. Apparently over McD breathing down his neck about running the ball? This move followed a string of puzzling comments about Daboll’s relationship with Sean McDermott. Daboll explained that he was unhappy with his situation in Buffalo because McDermott was breathing down his neck about running the ball. This comment came as a surprise to many Bills fans because as we know, our strength isn’t in running, but in passing. It appears as this comment not only confused Daboll but frustrated him to the point of him leaving. https://buffstaterecord.com/17478/sports/mcdermott-beane-daboll-and-schoen-one-big-happy-family/#:~:text=Daboll explained that he was,in running%2C but in passing.
  15. Wawrow reminds me of Trent Graham from the Independent in Ted Lasso. I think he likely gets stuffed for a safety and the Bills have to punt the ball back.
  16. LMAO...yes, because other teams have all the answers when you have your entire starting secondary out, your MLB out and your starting DE out. With more than half the starters out on D, exactly what is he supposed to do? Basically the only thing he can do...protect them as best as he can from not giving up huge plays. Comedy hour starting early today at TBD I see.
  17. He wasn't struggling at that point...he was playing lights out.
  18. If they have figured us out on O, then we are in great shape. We are the #1 offense in the NFL at 424+ yards a game. 31 other teams wish they had been "figured out" like that. Nah. It's noone.
  19. It's really hard to argue with McD's decisions to go for it on 4th down. Almost always the correct ones. We can not like the result or the playcall, but the decision itself is hard to argue with.
  20. Who would you take to beat the Bills if both teams played their A Game? Even now, the answer for me is noone.
