  1. I learned something new today due to reading about Aaron Patrick of the Bronco's suing the NFL regarding him tearing his ACL from slipping on mats covering wires for their gameday crews. Apparently he was on one of these split contracts and has only been getting paid half his salary while on IR. Talk about brutal... Wonder how many of the Bills players are on these split contracts and if there is any way of finding out... https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/11/15/aaron-patrick-sues-nfl-espn-rams-chargers-over-acl-tear-suffered-during-game/ https://frontofficenfl.com/2017/03/10/nfl-split-contracts/
  2. You guys actually get more snow I believe than we do...at least ion the Buffalo metro area...it says you average 124 inches a year which is on par with Syracuse. Hamburg, about 30 minutes south of Buffalo gets about 150 inches a year and places in ski country can get 200-250+ but that's way away from most of the population. Buffalo Metro area gets about 95-100 inches
  3. I don't see how they play it in OP...it's likely going to get moved. Lots of smoke on that on Twitter already among people outside the area even.
  4. And they are usually the conservative ones with that hahaha Unfortunately that puts me right in the bullseye again.
  5. Haha...you ain't lying...I lived out there for a few years...I was in the Eastern suburbs in Mariemont and worked in Kenwood, out in Eastgate for a while and finally downtown not far from the Reds stadium. Was down there when Blue Ash Industrial Park got destroyed by that tornado...was actually out at a club that night up in Hamilton(can't remember what it was called but it was in a mall). Left early for some reason that I couldn't really explain...I NEVER left before that place closed at 2am...luckily I did because I would have been driving right through Blue Ash at the time the tornado hit driving home that night.
  6. Any of the Allen edge runs will work there...Seahawk clip I posted is a perfect example of it...basically walks into the endzone untouched. It's like Dorsey has a bank account with a million dollars in it but is trying to scrounge up money from in between the couch cushions to pay for the pizza he ordered.
  7. I am unsure where this staple of the Bills RZ package has gone under Dorsey. It was highly effective and Allen would rarely get touched on the play. So many scoring drives ended over the 4 years he was here with this play, and yet not only do we not run it in the RZ anymore under Dorsey, we barely run it at all. I can only remember 3 or 4 times this year where we have run it. So the easiest fix to the RZ issues plaguing this team is to simply go back to basics and a play that is nearly indefensible down there. QB Power. And all you "Nervous Nellies" when it comes to injuries don't worry...he hardly gets touched on them...either he scores or he runs out of bounds.
  8. Every team has these things going on if you really want to go on a fishing expedition.
  9. Just don't turn the ball over and they win going away.
  10. Except we didn't. Looking purely at post game statistics and nothing else, the Bills were expected to win this game 98.6% of the time.
  11. I'm talking about in general under Dorsey...I can only remember a few times they actually have called it.
  12. We turn the ball over at an NFL leading rate. It is almost inconceivable to be that good to have that many TO's, that many injuries and good teams with a combined 23-7 record have to rely on minor miracles and the Bills shooting themselves in the foot multiple times to win these games on the last possession by 3 points or less. Once the Bills get their head on straight they will be a locomotive coming down the tracks with no brakes.
  13. Why they no longer run QB Power inside the 10 yard line is mind boggling to me...so many Allen TD's/FD's with that play when Daboll was here. He usually is untouched and either scores or goes OOB with a first down.
  14. Yes, it appears Metro Buffalo and the Northtowns will be the focal point for the storm, but OP will assuredly get a good amount, just not the brunt.
  15. A dusting is 6 inches or less...as in I don't even bother shoveling...this is something completely different, especially for the people who had to deal with clearing that amount of snow 8 years ago...the people in the Northtowns got off easy that time. Not this time tho.
  16. There is zero chance Tre is back out there this week if we play the game here and the field is slippery and snowy.
  17. I just gotta go get gas for the snowblower, but if we get the amount we are expected to get it will be ineffective at best for much of the time.
  18. Snowvember Part II...go check the weather related thread. Winter Storm Watch with very strong language in it, which is exceedingly rare 60+ hours out. "MULTIPLE" feet of snow expected, "significant long duration event" and "CRIPPLING LAKE EFFECT SNOW STORM" are pretty much the strongest words you can get from a weather perspective.
  19. Run QB Power once per series every time you are inside the 10 yard line in the RZ. No excuse not to when it's exceptionally effective and nearly unstoppable. And more motion to help diagnose things and make reads much easier for Allen like KC does for Mahomes.
  20. Or potentially Browns vs. Bills in Detroit.
  21. The easiest thing would be to simply move the game to Detroit since the Bills will be there the next week for the game anyway, they could just stay there.
  22. He has led the league in dropped INT's No...that is a recipe for disaster. You don't muddy the water even more, you clear it.
  23. if McDermott would just take the damn team out for Cheeseburgers on the road this all could have been avoided.
