He is absolutely right. Could you imagine the backlash if people die because medical emergencies happen and they can't get to the places to help because the resources are out trying to clear the stadium area for a game? They will probably get 3-3.5 feet.

Heaviest snow favors a 240 degree and possibly 250 degree wind direction this time which puts the heaviest snow in the Buffalo Metro area, airport, Eastern suburbs and immediate Northtowns actually.

It is mind boggling how people think a few hours is going to make a big difference with this type of snowfall being forecasted. I can only assume most of the people talking like this either live in WNY in places that gets little snow from these like the Northtowns or only have foggy memories from living here decades ago...or don't live here and have never seen anything close to snowfall totals like this. Nobody who lived through Snowvember talks like this.

How much snow did you get during Snowvember 2014? Bands are oscillating Saturday afternoon/night. 80% chance of snow Saturday night. There is a reason the warning period ends 1 PM Sunday and not 1PM Saturday.

And then move back and forth Saturday afternoon and night. 80% chance of snow Saturday night. The term is oscillating snow bands.

I am sure diverting massive amounts of resources by Erie County to focus on the Bills game while leaving other areas stranded for days will go over real well here. It's funny how almost all of the "Just do X" comments are from people who were not here and did not live through Snowvember 2014.

That was obviously coming...even back when I went to school before they got super soft and started giving kids "cold" days they would have closed for this, hahahaha

And the plows might be stuck and need help getting rescued if it's like last time.
