  1. I'm not a fan of how the D seemingly let's teams back into games either but I think they will figure it out. It's very out of character to allow this type of yardage to opponents by our pass D. Allen LOVES playing on Thanksgiving.
  2. Go watch highlights from the Leodis McKelvin fumble game to refresh your memory
  3. Yeah because they never ever barely squeaked out wins against the Bills right? They always steamrolled us right? Guess selective memory must be a great thing. Have people been out breathing in too much snowblower exhaust fumes this weekend or something?
  4. I think these fans need to realize that during every season there are going to be ups and downs and not to overreact to them. That's the issue I have...drastic overreactions. Allen is not going to suddenly turn back into the 2017 version of himself. It's a long season, lots of things happen during it. Not all of it is going to the be Bills steamrolling teams. Not all of it is going to the Bills playing their best. This is also the time many good teams struggle during the year...the middle part. It isn't as unusual as people want to make it out to be. Things are figured out, things are taken away, good teams figure it out like the Bills did last year. They'll be fine. They aren't imploding. They aren't missing the playoffs. They will get better as the games matter more. It's honestly amazing the amount of people calling for Dorsey's head as we lead the NFL in offense and are 2nd in scoring. Could you imagine what other teams fans must think if they read these boards?
  5. It's a week to week league. People really struggle to understand it. Vikings played well...seems like they had a letdown after the Bills game and win. Not surprising actually.
  6. Jets lost via an 84 yard punt return with 10 seconds left in the 4th. Special Teams TD was the only TD scored in the game.
  7. Bass for being super clutch and scoring 19 points for us. Allen for being smart with the football and doing what was NEEDED of him in this game instead of what he wanted to do. Milano Singletary Cook Knox All Pro Po D Line for their run Defense, especially Oliver.
  8. Honestly I think posters here have a form of PTSD where they can't be happy unless they find something to be overly negative about and ignore anything positive. It's honestly strange and I wonder if they act like that with their families. Just bizarre.
  9. The game really wasn't in doubt after we took the 13-10 lead.
  10. Only Bills fans can turn scoring 31 points on 7 consecutive drives into something negative.
  11. What are other teams if this team is "very flawed" leading the NFL in offense, 2nd in scoring O, top 10 on D and top 5 in scoring D? Get a clue.
  12. Nothing matters with everything they had to deal with this week other than getting the Dub. That's some mental toughness to overcome all of that and then a sluggish start to take over the game. Allen took the smart plays, they scored on 7 straight possessions, maybe Allen was a little gunshy trying NOT to turn it over...he will likely find the happy medium... Just put this behind them and keep it moving.
  13. Talking about in terms of the season with a few losses they shouldn't have had mixed in. Of course this week was crazy. Which makes people focusing on anything other than the fact they won utterly ridiculous.
  14. Go look at the 4-0 and 5-1 Bills teams Fitzy was on under Gailey if you want to find out.
  15. Actually yes. Did you watch the Eagles squeak out a 17-16 win against Indy late in the 4th quarter? They looked like trash last week against Washington too. Complaining when the Bills scored on 7 straight possessions and put up 31 points is pretty mind boggling. Could they be better? Sure. Will they? Highly likely. Last week they looked terrible putting up 500 yards of offense?? Newsflash...lots of teams tend to struggle at this time of the year. The last 3 SB winning teams all did. Nothing mattered this game with everything going on other than getting a win. The fact they did so after going down early and then reeling off 22 unanswered points is a good sign. The fact Allen took the throws he was given and didn't try forcing the ball was a good sign. No turnovers. That's what they needed in THIS game. As Allen says "It doesn't matter if it's by 1 or 100, a win is a win." You should do well to realize that and stop worrying about how it "looked".
  16. Could say that about any of the Bills losses too. No excuses, you play the schedule you have in front of you. The hand wringing going on about some minor adversity of a 7-3 team is really pathetic to be honest. They have played the toughest schedule in the NFL by strength of schedule and have the highest strength of victory. And lost 3 games by 8 points that they basically gave away. They are a lot closer to 10-0 than the 4-6 some would like you to believe.
  17. It's amazing how many people think real life is like Madden when the myriad of crazy thing going on this week with practices canceled, players sick, massive snowfall, the mental part of preparing themselves to travel for a game they thought would be at home, the massive snow they had to deal with actually getting to the airport and then not getting to the hotel until around 7:30pm doesn't matter. I'm here to tell you it does. Mind numbing stuff from people who apparently would never ever ever have any issues after dealing with all of this stuff...you know...the same people who fall apart when an unexpected 30 minute meeting gets scheduled at work and upsets their daily schedule.
  18. Or we just overcome it all like many other teams seem to do when push comes to shove. We aren't the only team dealing with a lot of injuries.
  19. They scored 31 points in a game with very little practice, with huge unexpected challenges this week and in a tough mental state to get prepared for a game with everything else happening. To use a game in which they had all this going on, scored on 7 straight possessions, and got 31 points is just bizarre. On top of this they are still likely the #1 offense in the NFL. And likely still #2 scoring. In the nicest way possible and with all due respect. Go outside. Find the largest possible boulder or block of ice you can. Take a running start and then kick it as hard as possible. Aka, kick rocks with this. Not the game for it.
  20. And yet he looked like a great QB against us. Very rare when the Bills make opposing middling QBs look good rather than look terrible. Pass D has been struggling since the Pittsburgh game.
