Dr. Jekyl, Mr. Hyde review of the Sean McDermot
Big Turk replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have. They averaged 26.2 points and 396 yards in the last 6. That ranks 6th and 4th in the NFL over that time span. They are struggling to score TDs, not points or get yards. To your point, even while struggling this is a top 5 offense -
Jones just threw for almost 400 yards against Minnesota

Judon usually disappears in Bills games. It's really amazing the lengths people will go to ignore all evidence contrary to their opinions on things and insist none of that matters.

Are you sure about those statements regarding Daboll/Dorsey? Food for thought... The Bills had 351 yards or less offensively 7 times last year. They have 2 instances this year. The Bills scored less than 17 points 4 times last year. They have 0 instances this year. Facts don't really support your assertions. Most likely you have recency bias which makes Dorsey's "poor" games, which were better than Daboll's "poor" games, look worse due to being fresher in your mind. -
Bill Lions set Thanksgiving viewership record

2nd time...Dallas was a huge rating boon too -
The last 6 games they have been "struggling" the Bills have averaged the 6th most points per game at 26.2 and the 4th most yards at 396 per game. So basically even when they are "struggling" they are a top 5 offense in the NFL. That should be absolutely terrifying for the rest of the NFL. They have 16 TDs and 15 FG during that timeframe, so I think the more accurate thing to say is they are struggling to score TDs as efficiently as they normally do.

Guess that's what happens when you get spun around like a top on every play. No they aren't. They are quality depth players that have been forced into playing far more than they should be

Patriots were the first team to lose in the SB era with the stat line they posted yesterday. Teams had been 170-0 in those situations https://twitter.com/OptaSTATS/status/1596022072353751040

That's what I have been trying to figure out. It's been all doom and gloom. We need to get key players back at the right time. But every team will deal with injuries during the postseason and will unlikely be at full strength. Just gotta overcome it. Bills have gotten pretty good at doing that, and that pays huge dividends when they get in big games and have to do it again.

Career AV, which is kind of the standard career value ranking created by Pro Football Reference. It's not perfect but it's pretty good. Tennessee would be a pretty good comp. Harold Landry was out before the season started with an ACL and they have had tons of injuries...Tannehill missed two games also.

A lot changes between now and the playoffs. That's where the disconnect with people comes from. We aren't playing with a mentally and physically exhausted team that has been through a metric ton worth of crap over the past week and still managed to win 2 games in 5 days. I'll tell you something else. You wouldn't see more than one or two other teams in the NFL win both those games under those circumstances.

Bills tied for 5th fewest man games lost to injury with only 83. The difference? Many of them have been to key players unlike the last several years. So the excuses the Bills are somehow more injured than every other team needs to stop. They are STILL one of the least injured teams in the NFL even with what seems like a crazy rash of injuries...we just don't see all the players out for other teams because we don't follow them very closely. Injuries to non key players/starters would help as well.

Website listing man games lost to injury?
Big Turk replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills shockingly are among the least injured NFL teams still but the difference is ours have been to key players more than the rest of the NFL it appears... Bills between 4th-6th least injured team in terms of man games lost https://mobile.twitter.com/ManGamesLostNFL/status/1595557934775271427 Bills are tied for 5th fewest with only 83 man games lost to injury through week 11. https://mobile.twitter.com/ManGamesLostNFL/status/1595557036489523200 -

2022 vs 2021 Bills fans have very short memories apparently
Big Turk replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Need to get back to the bread and butter of QB Power/QB Pin and Pull at the 10 yard line or inside it in the RZ. -
The offensive "struggles" occurred last year as well at times but were actually worse than they have been this year. Last year they had 7 games with 351 yards of offense or less. This year 2 games. Last year 4 games with under 17 points. This year, no games. All this hand wringing and weeping and wailing and the team is still averaging over 29 points and 400 yards a game over the last 3. We have simply been spoiled by the highest of highs and short memories.

Then they come here and say how terrible their 8-3 team is and how they will likely be drafting #1 overall within a few years

Bills have won cosecutive games in Detroit while Lions haven't done that since 2016 hahaha. Kinda like that stat that Brady had more TD passes in Buffalo than any Bills QB since he was a rookie
