  1. Frazier needs to go I'm afraid. He consistently has no answers in the playoffs with top shelf defenses during the regular season. Defense has sucked in last 3 playoff losses and basically looked inept.
  2. Yes let's trade Allen and Diggs for a bunch of draft picks and hope we strike gold again and likely come nowhere close to what we already have
  3. #4 is the main thing I took out of it. They looked spent. Once you get to the point where there is nothing left to give it manifests itself physically and it was obvious both on the field and in the interviews where so many players said they had no energy today. Nothing else really matters because the team wasn't winning today no matter what they did or tried.
  4. Yeah he is making $4.8 million next year and has $0 guaranteed so they can cut him and realize full cap savings.
  5. I'm just going by you saying "very close". It certainly is not that.
  6. Frazier isn't an easy keep for me at all. His schemes and playcalling get exposed against good teams and offenses in the playoffs. All 3 seasons the D has had no answers in the playoffs losses. 38, 42 and 27 points which felt like it could have been 50 if they really needed them. I'd take a D that isn't as good in the regular season but gets better in the playoffs. Instead we go the opposite direction.
  7. Yeah, I mean I am fine with that. Defensively they will be a little worse but offensively they will get better. Offense is easier to be consistent with than defense in the NFL year to year.
  8. I'd say if this game was played 100 times, today was probably the worst game out of the 100. To say the roster wasn't SB quality is going a little far for me. Disappointed with how things ended? Sure. Not a SB quality roster? Hard to argue that when they were the 1 seed almost all year and ranked #1 by all 3 analytic rankings by a wide margin.
  9. Can we trade posters? I'll trade OP for "future considerations".
  10. Huh? It's not very close at all. I lived there. Erie is very close. Rochester is very close. Cleveland is close. Pittsburgh is close. Cincinnati is between 6.5-7 hours
  11. It helps, but ultimately it ends up being how good the pieces around him are on offense and defense.
  12. Every team in the NFL deals with these risks eventually. It's a byproduct of how things work.
  13. I doubt it. Frazier would be my choice. He has shown 3 straight years he can't get it done in the playoffs against good offensive teams. Dorsey was a rookie and probably will improve and learn like most first timers do. Will he ultimately be good enough? Who knows. Nobody does yet but he will likely get the chance to find out.
  14. Also I think people don't realize that sometimes luck plays a huge role in winning a SB too. The Rams won theirs because the 49ers defender dropped a game sealing INT thrown right to him. Sometimes a bounce here or there or a dropped INT, etc can be the difference between winning and losing.
  15. Based on? Manning won his first one after 7 years. Farve after 6. Rodgers after 6. Brees after 9. Elway after 15. I mean there is no "one way" to do it. This "window" talk gets a little old...there will basically be smaller and bigger windows throughout his career based on what's around him and on D.
  16. This is one of the most insane posts of the year. Congrats. I see cliff jumping truly does bring out the crazies at times. They are not going to a "ground game". Give me a break dude. What's next? Do you want to turn Allen into a safe game manager?
  17. I don't jump to conclusions, I let things actually play out. Way too many people here change opinions like the wind blows based on knee jerk reactions to a game, or a half, or a quarter or a drive.
  18. I think Shakir is going to surprise a lot of people next year. We saw flashes this year. You can say that but it's unlikely to happen. Losing defensive players doesn't have anything to do with the offense. Davis is still on a rookie deal next year. I'm not sure exactly what you think they are going to do on this mini rebuild but if adding pieces on offense is what you are saying that can be done on the fly
  19. C'mon man. This is a little ridiculous. Actual more than a little ridiculous, a lot ridiculous. You don't end up as the 2nd best offense by having "no scheme". Are there things he needs to fix and get better at? Sure. To pretend they are simply just winging it every play is completely asinine.
  20. I doubt they are going to suddenly go from 2nd on offense to like 15th. They can reload without rebuilding.
  21. They were spent. Nothing much to say. They could have had the perfect schemes and it wouldn't have mattered today. They had nothing left to give and it showed. I'm not even mad about it.
  22. Funny...many said the same thing about Andy Reid for years.
  23. More like the realist that doesn't jump off a cliff 50 times a year like most posters. Mostly it's just common sense, but apparenly not many people who post here have it.
  24. What QB other than Brady "consistently" won Super Bowls year after year? People thinking because you have an elite QB means you will win the SB every year are living in some alternate reality. It doesn't happen like that. Favre didn't win one until year 6. Manning didn't win one until year 7. Elway didn't win one until year 15. Marino never won one Kelly never won one Nothing is guaranteed no matter how good your QB is
