  1. LMAO!! I have always said I have never seen a player run into his own blockers as frequently as Stevenson did and that it was an adventure with him because of how weird and unexpectedly he got hit on some of those plays you wondered how he didn't fumble and managed to hold onto the ball...
  2. He was activated off IR and today was the last day to either put him on the 53 or back to IR...I am assuming Stevenson felt he was healthy and told the Bills if they weren't going to put him on the 53 he wanted to be released, so that is what they did... Interesting they are keeping one roster spot open...I wonder why?
  3. Yeah, being a head coach is pretty much like being a CEO...you need to hold the other coaches accountable, who then need to hold their position groups accountable, etc... You go from the doer, to the manager. You also have TONS of off the field issues that you are constantly dealing with on a weekly basis that have nothing to do with football, and that is the biggest thing that takes a lot of getting used to by some of the head coaches from what they have said...sometimes it is so hard to pull yourself away from the football side of things to deal with those, but they are necessary if you want to run a well balanced and efficient team. A lot of times people cannot properly make the transition from doer to manager...kind of like when assistant managers get promoted to store manager. There is a whole lot of stuff you never were responsible for that you are now responsible for, on top of ensuring that everyone else is doing their jobs properly. You also are dealing with the entire team now instead of just your specialty or side of the ball and have a lot of input on what goes on there.
  4. The NFL disagrees with you. That's called a Pass Defensed(PD).
  5. I really would have loved to see what Chan Gailey could have done with this collection of talent...best screen game I have ever seen, always had to try and do more with less. Might not have been a great fir, but if he could have paired up the rest of the offense with the screen game, it would have been a sight to see.
  6. I like the Russell Wilson Bathrooms vs. TD bet...his new house has 12 bathrooms...over or under the number of TD passes Wilson throws this year
  7. He has a worse QB rating than Matt Ryan and Carson Wentz...let that one sink in for a minute with how terrible they have been this year.
  8. Because 2 of their losses would be in OT where 18 points would have won the game in regulation.
  9. Well, bad news for Davis detractors...DVOA likes what he has done this year/last year and rankings for this year/last year. DYAR: 155/111 - 16th/43rd DVOA: 16.3%/9.2% - 12th/28th EYDS: 666/575 - 29th/56th https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/nfl/wr/2022 methods explained here: https://www.footballoutsiders.com/info/methods#DYAR For EYDS: "Effective Yards (EYds) translate DVOA into a yards per attempt figure. This provides an easy comparison: in general, players with more Effective Yards than standard yards played better than standard stats would otherwise indicate, while players with fewer Effective Yards than standard yards played worse than standard stats would otherwise indicate. Effective Yards are not the best way to measure total value because they are more dependent on usage than DYAR." So basically, the metrics say Davis has been a good receiver for us this year. By comparison, Diggs is #1 in DYAR at 377, 1 more than Tyreek Hill at 376. EYDS says that Davis has done what has been expected of him in terms of yardage gained as his actual yardage total is 665, Effective Yards are 666. Diggs has done significantly more...yards 1202, EYDS 1403. He has been significantly higher this year than last year and so has Diggs...I would put this on the types of routes being ran and moving Diggs all around the formation.
  10. Bills still maintain #1 DVOA ranking over Dallas. Also the only team that is in the top 5 in all categories...Offense and Defense ranked 4th, ST ranked 3rd. Jets ranked 9th. 19th on O, 5th on D, 14th ST. https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/nfl/team-efficiency/2022/regular
  11. For the first time in forever, the Bills no longer lead the NFL in point differential. Cowboys passed us with their 33 point explosion in the 4th quarter against Indy. Cowboys at +127, Bills at +124.
  12. There is a reason why to a man, virtually every former teammate he has played with, both college and pro, hate him.
  13. Another example of Wilson simply being a Poser.
  14. The worst part was, the kid wasn't even legally old enough to be drinking! He was only 20! Whoever supplied him with alcohol should be prosecuted as well.
  15. Obviously if this is true, it means Wilson was vastly over-confident in his abilities to succeed under that type of structure.
  16. Is Denver's offense more talented than the Bills 2013 offense that featured EJ Manuel, Jeff Tuel and Thad Lewis as QBs? I'd say yes. Hackett trying to force Wilson to be an "on schedule" QB...something he has never been his entire career. Trying to force a player into your system instead of building a system around the most important position is a sign of bad coaching.
  17. In regulation they have only gave up more than 17 points twice. It's not by average points.
  18. Lockett also fell into this category as well...both had great deep speed.
  19. I think people don't understand there is a vast difference between the skills needed to succeed as a Head Coach versus the skills needed as an OC. Almost a completely different skillset. That is why so many fail as HC's, not because they can't coach football or don't know football.
  20. I think even Jeff Saturday would have more wins than Hackett at this stage of the season.
  21. Guess the owner wasn't happy seeing AJ Brown "Moss" them all night last game.
  22. Around February tho, people start getting really antsy for winter to be over... Can't imagine what it must be like in places like Alaska where you don't see light for 2-3 months at a time.
  23. I mean even in Buffalo with EJ Manuel, Thad Lewis and Jeff Tuel he managed to put up 21.2 PPG. Inconceivable how he could be 8 points worse with much more talent.
