  1. They don't play the game anymore but they still get Pro Bowl recognition as that is tied into contract escalators and bonuses many times. Sucks for players who made it and got those due to having players decline the invitation and being invited as alternates as that won't happen anymore.
  2. Leeeeessssliiieeeee Fraaaaaazzzziiieeeeer... Your defenders are waiting on the field for you... If you join us right now, together we can turn the tiiiiddddeee... Oh, Leeeeeesssslie Fraaazier... We play offenses that will yield for you... If we manage to get this right... We'll be champions by Februiary's light... Bills Mafia will never be the same...
  3. Maybe we can wish for raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens... bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens... brown paper packages tied up with strings...
  4. He better bring one for Diggs on the sideline...that normal floss is messy.
  5. If someone goes out somewhere with the intent of something happening and does so with motivation, then should we be surprised when it happens? Intent matters. someone gets a gun and tells people they are going out with the intent to murder someone. They shoot a person, but then claim it was self defense and they weren't planning on killing anyone. Do you believe them?
  6. Obviously if that is what happened then no, but clearly they don't think they can prove that happened, so the number of people acting like it DID regardless of their evidence is a little strange. Innocent til proven guilty is a tenant of this country's law. Even today. Social Media is not a valid courtroom.
  7. So you are telling me if a guy went out to a bar looking for a fight and then you found out later he got in a fight and ended up in the hospital that you would be saying he played no part in that happening?
  8. far less? He is only being paid about 280K less. Brown is still on his rookie deal, the extension has not kicked in yet.
  9. Probably because she was caught on video saying she was looking to add more than 1 to her body count that night...pretty hard to not to overlook this as a setup.
  10. How would you interpret her comments caught on video that she was "planning to add more than 1 to her body count that night"?
  11. Some states it doesn't matter, some states it does. It DOES matter in California: 1) Mistake of age: If you honestly and reasonably believed that the person you had sex with was over 18 at the time you had sex, you can’t be convicted under California statutory rape law. https://quinnanlaw.com/sexual-assault/california-statutory-rape/#:~:text=1) Mistake of age%3A If,under California statutory rape law.
  12. Probably didn't help her case when she was caught on video saying she was planning to "add more than 1 to her body count" that night before any of it happened. Kinda shows she had an agenda for being there while lying and claiming was in college even tho she was underage and still in high school.
  13. "evidence does not support the filing of criminal charges"
  14. I disagree in the sense all of these injuries to some degree or another eventually are "overuse" injuries. The reason why these were very uncommon back in the days is because players didn't spend all off-season training and working out and running drills, etc. All of that puts additional stress on these parts of the body. Like a car tire that only gets so many miles, these parts of the body do the same. Each person is different and nobody knows for sure how many miles theirs has, but the more you workout and the more additional stress you put on it, the more likely it is at some point to require replacement/repair. So from the standpoint of nobody knowing when it's going to happen, yes, it's bad luck. From a standpoint of the injury itself, like anything else, continuous overuse makes it more likely it is going to happen at some point, just don't know what that point is.
  15. Basically it sounds like they concluded the girl is full of crap and that Araiza didn't do anything wrong.
  16. Apparently the owner "wasn't happy with the direction of the roster". Interesting the firing came directly after AJ Brown torched them.
  17. It sounds like it wasn't a full tear but there was enough damage to where they felt they had to do the surgery because the doctor told Beane "it wasn't going to hold"...also sounds like recovery time might be less than for a complete ACL tear since they said they are hopeful he can play most of next season, which means it is a shorter timeframe for recovery initially.
  18. Doubt it was misdiagnosed, MRI's are not always clear or there can be questions as to whether or not something is actually damaged. Which is why exploratory surgery was done...you know...to explore and find out the actual extent of the damage. Every situation is different. Trying to compare what you had done to anyone else has no value. Based on Beane's comments, it wasn't a full ACL tear, but the doctor determined that it "wasn't going to hold" and they needed to have the surgery done on it. Also seems it may not be AS serious in terms of how long it takes to come back from versus a full tear based on Beane saying they are hopeful he can return for most of next season.
  19. Did you really have to say it? Delete this sentence before the Football Gods see it!!!!
