Irrelevant. Each week is its own animal. All they need to do is score more points than the other team in a given game. The whole "oh no...they aren't playing well" argument is less applicable to football than any other sport. Each game is very specific in regards to matchups, gameplan, what they are trying to accomplish etc. It's pretty hard to beat this team. I like our chances. Even more so since they seem to figure out ways to win differently each week.

I believe they have really drilled into Allen's head about taking care of the football better and as such he is being exceedingly safe now.

He was part of a D that allowed 10 points. Again. In back to back divisional games. Not sure what the issue is here.

Lot of guys had "rough days" according to the board for a D that allowed 10 points again.

You should watch more football then. Pretty much every team has games like that. KC almost choked against Denver after being up 27-0 and held on for dear life to win 34-28.

They look kinda similar to the last few games of the regular season last year...anyone remember that Falcons game?

In what way? They have lost 3 times by a total of 8 points and in all 3 games have given the game away to some degree or another. Two of them in ridiculous ways. They have played one of the toughest schedules in the NFL and have beaten the 3 other divisional leaders in the AFC. And done so missing numerous starters many weeks. If anything, THIS should be the team we are most proud of. Faced adversity, have largely overcome it all.

Then maybe he should stop missing tackles in the run game and getting beat in the pass game. If he isn't doing either well, he needs to be off the field. At least the other DBs play the run well for the most part. Obviously the coaches are not happy with something. They see him every day in practice. They've allowed 10 points two games in a row on D. I think overall they are doing fine with him not in there... It's up to him to improve...I am sure the coaches have told him what he needs to work on.

Said the same thing about Daboll last year. Had more bad offensive games under him than we have under Dorsey. Cowboys needed a last second TD to beat the Texans who were up 23-20.

Starter injuries and more close games than we have been used to. 2 bad losses to MIA and MIN. All in all this team has impressive mental toughness where other teams would have buckled.

Thinking back...some our worst offensive games in the last 3 years have been a against the Jets. First game in 2019 we won 17-16 after being down 16-0 on John Brown's long TD. Lost the season finale 13-6(not sure if we rested people) 2020 we won 27-17 and 18-10 where Bass kicked 6 FGs and we got no TDs on the day. Last year we handled them easily twice during a terrible year for them. This year we struggled both games on offense. Jets seem to be a bad matchup for us and not just this year...not sure what it is but they just seem to play us tougher than either NE or MIA.

Yeah...letting it back to a one score game you were up 27-0 in is pretty terrible...especially against THAT team.

Key plays in key situations count for a lot. Kinda crazy to complain about the defense in a game you forced 7 or 8 punts and held the other team to 10 offensive points.
